Season 1 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - iPilot

When Carly takes the blame for one of Sam's pranks, Miss Briggs makes them run talent show tryouts.  With the help of Freddie, they film the auditions.  When Miss Briggs rejects all their favorite contestants, Carly and Sam decide to host their talented classmates on their own online web show, iCarly.

  

Episode 1 - iCarly Saves TV

A big time producer wants to make iCarly into a TV show. But Carly, Sam, and Freddie are soon upset to learn all of the big changes the producer wishes to make.

  

Episode 2 - iAm Your Biggest Fan

iCarly's biggest fan, Mandy, is invited onto the show as a one-girl studio audience. Mandy turns out to be more of a stalker than a fan and the kids have to get rid of her.

  

Episode 2 - iWant More Viewers

Carly and Sam compete against Freddie and Spencer to see who can come up with the best plan to get more kids to watch the iCarly webcast.  Things get crazy when all their plans go horribly wrong.

  

Episode 3 - iDream of Dance

iCarly asks their fans to send in videos of themselves doing their coolest dances.  When over three thousand dance clips come in, Carly, Sam, and Freddie find themselves trying to stay up all night to watch the videos.  They fall asleep and each have a crazy musical dream.

  

Episode 3 - iWant a World Record

Carly, Sam, and Freddie try to break the world record for the longest continuous webcast. To do so, iCarly will have to run for over 24 hours straight.

  

Episode 4 - iHatch Chicks

Carly and Sam set out to hatch chicks for a science project. The chicks hatch earlier than expected and escape from the incubator. Now Carly, Sam, Freddie, and Spencer have to find all the chicks around the apartment.

  

Episode 4 - iLike Jake

Carly has a crush on a boy at school named Jake.  He's really cool and hot.  Since Carly likes him, she invites Jake to sing and play guitar on her web show.  Unfortunately, she learns too late that Jake is the worst singer in the world.

  

Episode 5 - iWanna Stay With Spencer

Carly and Spencer's granddad makes a surprise visit.  He's very concerned that Spencer is too irresponsible and wacky to be Carly's guardian.  It's up to Carly and her friends to prove to her granddad that Spencer is, in fact, an awesome guardian for Carly.

  

Episode 6 - iNevel

Carly, Sam, and Freddie want their web show to be reviewed by "Nevelocity," a really popular website that reviews other websites and webcasts.  When Carly goes to meet Nevel, the "man" who runs Nevelocity, she's shocked to find out he's actually an annoying 11–year–old boy who's far more interested in dating Carly than reviewing her work.  Carly puts a good review at risk when she refuses to go out with Nevel and dumps a bowl of salsa all over him.

  

Episode 7 - iScream On Halloween

Carly, Sam, and Freddie do iCarly from an apartment that is rumored to be haunted.  When creepy things start happening, the friends worry that the ghost rumors just might be true.  When Spencer forgets to buy candy, he's got a bunch of angry trick-or-treaters on his hands.

  

Episode 8 - iSpy a Mean Teacher

Carly decides to do a webcast showing what mean teachers do when they're not in school.  They decide to follow their mean teacher, Miss Briggs, but find themselves in serious trouble when Carly and Freddie accidentally get trapped in Miss Briggs' apartment while she's home.

  

Episode 9 - iWill Date Freddie

An iCarly fan, Valerie, asks Freddie on a date.  The date goes so well that Freddie begins filming Valerie's own web show.  But when Valerie's web show interferes with iCarly, Freddie finds himself torn between his best friends and his new girlfriend.

  

Episode 10 - iWant a World Record

Carly, Sam, and Freddie try to break the world record for the longest continuous webcast.  To do so, iCarly will have to run for over 24 hours straight.  While Spencer builds a giant sculpture downstairs, the kids set out to make history.

  

Episode 11 - iRue the Day

Spencer saves the life of the lead singer of The Plain White T's and gets him to agree to go on iCarly.  Strange things start going wrong in the middle of Carly, Sam, and Freddie's webcast.  When they discover that it's Nevel trying to sabotage iCarly, they have to find a way to stop him in time for The Plain White T's appearance on the web show.

  

Episode 12 - iPromise Not to Tell

Carly gets a B on a History paper she should have gotten an A on.  Sam, seeing an opportunity during her weekly meeting with Principal Franklin, changes Carly's grade in the computer and surprises her with the straight A's she deserves.  Sam makes Carly promise not to tell Principal Franklin what she's done.  Spencer builds a giant "A" sculpture, which only makes Carly's feelings of guilt about the situation worse.  Carly and Freddie hatch a plan to break back into the computer system and restore their grades.

  

Episode 13 - iAm Your Biggest Fan

iCarly's biggest fan, Mandy, is invited onto the show as a one-girl studio audience.  Mandy turns out to be more of a stalker than a fan and the kids have to get rid of her.  Meanwhile, Spencer finds out that his new band is just letting him play drums so they can practice in the apartment.

  

Episode 14 - iHeart Art

Carly invites Spencer's art hero, Harry Joyner, to take a look at Spencer's work.  When Harry calls Spencer's work amateurish, Spencer feels like his life has lost its purpose.  Carly decides to show Spencer's sculptures on iCarly, but even positive reaction from iCarly fans isn't enough to cure Spencer's blues.  Spencer won't be able to work again until Harry Joyner praises his work.

  

Episode 15 - iHate Sam's Boyfriend

Sam gets a boyfriend, and the two are inseparable.  But when the relationship starts affecting iCarly, Carly and Freddie know they have to do something.  Meanwhile, Spencer is attempting the painstaking process of creating a claymation movie, one frame at a time.

  

Episode 16 - iHatch Chicks

Carly and Sam set out to hatch chicks for a science project.  The chicks hatch earlier than expected and escape from the incubator.  Now Carly, Sam, Freddie, and Spencer have to find all the chicks around the apartment before they get cold and hungry.

  

Episode 17 - iDont Want to Fight

Carly makes Sam a one-of-a-kind iCarly shirt to commemorate the anniversary of their friendship.  But when Sam trades the shirt for concert tickets, the two friends find themselves in a fight.  Meanwhile, Spencer builds a fish-feeding machine so that he'll never forget to feed his fish again.

  

Episode 18 - iPromote Tech-Foots

Carly, Sam, and Freddie are invited to Daka headquarters where they are offered a large sum of money to endorse Daka’s new shoe, the Tech-Foot, on iCarly.  But the shoes turn out to be terrible.  With pressure from iCarly fans, angry about spending their money on the horrible shoes, Carly, Sam, and Freddie have to figure out a way to get out of their contract with Daka and get refunds for all their fans.  Meanwhile, Spencer explores different options for transportation after falling asleep on a bus and ending up in Canada.

  

Episode 19 - iGot Detention

Sam gets detention on the night of iCarly's 50th web show spectacular.  Unable to do their normal webcast, Carly and Freddie do their best to get detention too so they can do the show from inside detention with Sam.  Spencer builds a ten-foot-tall cup of coffee, then accidentally drops his cell phone in and has to dive in to find it.

  

Episode 20 - iStakeout

After watching a segment on iCarly that showed a man who sells illegal copies of movies, two detectives decide to use Carly and Spencer's loft for a stakeout.  Spencer, who is busy making all the food for Socko's birthday, is horrified to find that one of the detectives is his childhood bully.  As the stakeout drags on, the kids decide they have to do something.  Meanwhile, Freddie loses a bet with Sam and now he's going to have to get a tattoo.

  

Episode 21 - iMight Switch Schools

Carly learns that because of her web show she's been given the opportunity for a full scholarship to the elite private school, Briarwood.  If she does well in an interview with the headmaster, she's in.  Carly's not so sure about it, but Sam and Freddie know they don't want her to go, and they might have to make sure she doesn't.  Meanwhile, Spencer creates a mini-golf course that becomes hugely popular after being featured on iCarly.

  

Episode 22 - iFence

Freddie's in need of some guy time, so he tags along with Spencer to go fencing.  Freddie's a natural, but things get complicated when Spencer gets him involved in a match with the amazing Doug Toder.  Meanwhile, Carly has to plan a dinner for her weird relatives, the Dorfmans, and with Spencer busy fencing, she might not get much help.  Sam reveals that she has never read a real book, and a bet begins between her and Freddie: can Sam finish a book?

  

Episode 23 - iCarly Saves TV

A big time producer wants to make iCarly into a TV show.  But Carly, Sam, and Freddie are soon upset to learn all of the big changes the producer wishes to make.  Meanwhile, with the kids at the TV at studio rehearsing all the time, a bored Mrs. Benson begins mothering Spencer.

  

Episode 24 - iWin a Date

When their friend Gibby is too shy to ask out the girl he likes, the gang decides to make him and his crush contestants in an "iWin A Date" segment on the web show.   When two of the contestants don't show up, Carly has to step in to play.  Will Gibby choose his crush or Carly as his mystery date?

  

Episode 25 - iHave a Love Sick Teacher

Mrs. Ackerman, the gang's teacher, goes through a rough breakup with her boyfriend, causing her to quarrel with her students.  A visit from Spencer to sort out the dispute turns into a date.  How will Spencer deal with the amorous advances of his sister's teacher?
