Episode 2 - Happy TrailsGrace springs a surprise witness on Rosalind, but the case continues to go badly. Kuzak faces a biased judge and gets himself and Rollins thrown in jail. Stuart and Ann agree to a sexual hiatus. Douglas decides to end his relationship with his sexual surrogate. |
Episode 3 - Lie HarderAbby tackles the sad case of adoptive parents trying to return their violent adopted son. Gwen Taylor, Arnie's final fling before his marriage to Corrinne, comes to work at McKenzie, Brackman. Grace takes on a cop-shooting case with racial overtones. |
Episode 4 - Armand's HammerJonathan defends a white cop accused of shooting a black youth. Cara Jean Lamb outfoxes the firm and receives a job offer in return. Victor defends a humiliated professor suing a candid video show and becomes aware of his changing feelings towards Grace. |
Episode 5 - Smoke Gets In Your ThighsAnn tries to get Stuart removed from a stressful case while she represents a gay man denied visitation rights to his terminally ill lover. Arnie and Abby try to retrieve the money Benny donated to a questionable religious order. Grace debates a proposal from Jack Sollers. Murray paints the mens room and Benny gets a new roommate. |

Episode 7 - New Kidney On the BlockGrace fights the overseas shipment of a donated kidney destined for a wealthy patient to help out a close friend who needs it. Kuzak represents a flag-burning Vietnam vet. Murray and Benny pose as lawyers to get dates. |
Episode 8 - God Rest Ye Murray GentlemanMurray succumbs as the holiday approaches. A smitten McKenzie volunteers himself and Grace to defend Rosalind Shays against S&L fraud charges. Victor appears against a doctor who claims he was fired because of his physical disfigurement. |
Episode 9 - SplatoonVictor is finally named a partner, and begins a romance with Grace. Abby appears on the Donahue TV program to talk about her experiences with a handgun. Stuart freaks out during a rigorous paintgun competition with Douglas and Jonathan. Tommy represents the wife of a brain-damaged former boxer. Ann and Stuart reconcile. |

Victor defends an alleged sociopathic murderer he believes has lied under oath. Arnie takes on a difficult divorce case. Abby remains bitter over being passed over for partner. |

Episode 13 - Dances With SharksJonathan is brutalized by the police when he's spotted in a white neighborhood. A divorced Navaho father kidnaps his half-Caucasian son and seeks a ruling in a Native American court to allow him to raise the boy on his reservation. |
Episode 14 - The Gods Must Be LawyersVictor asks Grace to have dinner with his family but the evening ends in tragedy with a hit-and-run accident. Kuzak and Mullaney defend a woman and her lover against charges they murdered her much older husband. Zoey opposes a sleazy attorney representing a wealthy executive accused of raping a sixteen-year-old girl. |

Zoey tries to prosecute two drive-by shooters. Grace discovers she's pregnant. Rosalind Shays suffers an unfortunate accident with the elevator. |
Episode 17 - Mutinies On The BanzaiMcKenzie leaves Douglas as the senior partner as he sorts out his feelings. Grace and Victor mull over her unexpected pregnancy. Kuzak mounts a revolt and is asked to leave. Jonathan opposes a firm that replaced all of its Amercian executives with Japanese. Arnie is tormented by his inability to sustain a relationship. |
Episode 18 - As God Is My Co-DefendantKuzak tries to lure away four McKenzie, Brackman lawyers, prompting Leland and Douglas to file suit against him. Mullaney defends a Christian Science couple accused of involuntary manslaughter in the death of their son. |
Episode 19 - Speak, Lawyers, For MeMeyer has some drastic recommendations to keep the firm solvent. Michael drops his lawsuit when Benny has a depression-related breakdown. Douglas defends a transsexual model fired after her sex change operation was discovered. Tommy represents the family of a college football player made suicidal by steroid usage. Abby and Jonathan return to the firm, where Abby asks C.J. for a date. |
Episode 20 - There Goes the JudgeZoey must deal with a judge, once her law school professor, who appears to be losing control of his mental faculties. Jonathan allows his personal experiences to color his defense of a fearful man who led police on a chase after seeing a videotape of an alleged police beating. Arnie helps Benny recover. Abby seeks Ann's advice. |
Episode 21 - On the Toad AgainKelsey and Sollers represent an obsessive woman charged with murdering her married lover. C.J. tries to defend a retiree accused of licking his Cane toads to get a high. Part-time arbitration judge McKenzie rules on a blues singer's suit. |
Episode 22 - Since I Fell For YouAnn faces three months of disbarrment for revealing knowledge of a killer obtained through attorney-client privilege. Grace marries Victor, who is representing a an AIDS-stricken lawyer against an insurer. Arnie and Roxanne fall through the ceiling while engaged in a little romantic hanky panky. Abby is finally made a partner. |
