Episode 1 - Come Back Little Diva

Regine angrily moves out and gets her own apartment. When she hosts a housewarming party, one important guest comes uninvited. Max and Kyle struggle for control in their relationship.

  

Episode 2 - The Ex-File

Regine moves back only to find that the others have redecorated--leaving her with the worst room. Overton angers Synclair by accepting a meeting with a former flame who once refused to marry him.

  

Episode 3 - On the Rebound

Khadijah gets an interview with professional basketball star GRANT HILL (himself) and ends up with more than she expected.

  

Episode 4 - Grumpy Old Man

Kyle's 30th birthday brings him depression, back pain--and a special gift from Max.

  

Episode 5 - Rags to Riches

Regine is disgusted when the boutique is converted into a discount store. Yet, luckily she manages to impress a soap opera wardrobe consultant with her knowledge of tackiness.

  

Episode 6 - The James Bond

Khadijah and Synclaire disagree over how to spend a savings bond they opened as teenagers. Kyle sulks when he learns that he has fewer names in his little black book than does Max.

  

Episode 7 - The Handyman Can

Handyman Overton considers another career when his work keeps falling apart.

  

Episode 8 - He Works Hard for the Money

Kyle gets a lucrative job working for a famous actress (singer EARTHA KITT), but she wants more than he expected. A charity names Khadijah Hero Of The Year based on an old lie she'd told Synclaire.

  

Episode 9 - Baby I'm Back...Again

Scooter (CRESS WILLIAMS) returns and proposes marriage to Khadijah.

  

Episode 10 - Mr. Big Shot

Overton has the chance to win $10,000 on a 3-point shot at halftime at a Knicks game, but Synclaire jinxes him. Max steals a dress of Regine's to wear to a function, unaware it's a special "tear-away" costume meant to fall apart in a catfight scene on her soap opera.

  

Episode 11 - Mommy, Not Dearest

Max's mother (CCH POUNDER) wants to have a deeper relationship with her. Khadijah meets DEAN CAIN (himself) and BURT WARD (himself) in an effort to return a wallet to the rightful owner.

  

Episode 12 - The Following Is a Sposored Program

Max gets an acting role that Synclaire wanted, but they create a unique solution together. Overton repeatedly dreams about sexy singing group TLC (themselves).

  

Episode 13 - Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow...Dammit

Overton tries to organize a traditional Christmas at his family's remote Canadian cabin. Unfortunately, the rustic campsite is not the same as he remembered it.

  

Episode 14 - I'm Ready for My Close-Up

Synclaire tries to convince Regine to help her get an acting role by using her business contacts. Khadijah and Max work together on an article.

  

Episode 15 - Scoop Dreams

New journalist Ivan gets a scoop on his first day working at "Flavor." Meanwhile Overton is hurt to that Kyle is asked to be godfather for a friend's newborn son instead of him.

  

Episode 16 - Likes Father, Likes Son

Regine discovers that she is dating both a father (MELVIN VAN PEEBLES) and his son (MARIO VAN PEEBLES).

  

Episode 17 - Wake Up to the Breakup

Synclaire lies to save Russell from being deported. Kyle dumps Max when he grows tired of a relationship without affection or respect. Synclaire and Max argue incessantly, even at a BRIAN McKNIGHT (himself) concert.

  

Episode 18 - Tibby or Not Tibby

Overton's beloved Uncle Tibby visits and urges him to dump Synclaire. Max taunts Kyle about their breakup, but Regine thinks she has regrets.

  

Episode 19 - Shrink to Fit

Khadijah realizes that she has too much stress in her life and visits a psychiatrist (JASMINE GUY). Overton reacts strangely to Synclaire's new job as a clown.

  

Episode 20 - Dear John

Kyle's sexy date wants romance--from Overton. Max forges Regine's signature on a mean letter to Regine's boyfriend.

  

Episode 21 - A Raze in Harlem

In a fantasy sequence, Kyle and the gang go back to the roaring '20s to save a jazz club from destruction. Series stars QUEEN LATIFAH and T.C. CARSON singing jazz songs.

  

Episode 22 - Woman to Woman

When college friend Shayla visits, Max is both stunned to learn that she's marrying another woman and hurt that Kayla never told her she was gay.

  

Episode 23 - Glass Ceiling

Kyle's unhappy with his promotion, which has removed him from client contact. Regine denies worrying that her artist boyfriend works with nude models.

  

Episode 24 - Kiss Of The Spider Man

Max is upset when one of her clients appears to be guilty--and she is attracted to him.

  

Episode 25 - Whatever Happened to Baby Sister

Khadijah baby-sits her spoiled half-sister Stephanie, a promising athlete who seems determined to throw away her future.

  

Episode 26 - Compromising Positions

Regine's mother catches her and Keith in an embarassing position. Overton decides to pop the question.

  

Episode 27 - The Engagement, Pt 1

Overton's attempts to propose marriage to Synclaire are repeatedly thwarted. Max's opponent in a local election tries to damage her reputation. Khadijah's publishing career may be over.
