Episode 1 - The Dragon's CallMerlin is at the cusp of adulthood, heading to Camelot where he hopes to find adventure and a use for his hidden talent: magic. However, once he arrives at the mythic city, he finds all is not quite as he'd dreamed.

Episode 3 - The Mark of NimuehA deadly plague spreads through Camelot. When it seems that sorcery can be the only possible explanation, Merlin and Gaius race to find a cure, while Gwen is arrested and sentenced to death for practising witchcraft.

Episode 4 - The Poisoned ChaliceWith her sights set firmly on Merlin, Nimueh tricks him into drinking from a poisoned chalice, and he falls dangerously ill. Arthur ventures deep into the forest of Balor to find the antidote, but little does he know that he's walking into a trap.

Episode 5 - LancelotEager to repay Lancelot for saving him from a terrifying flying monster, Merlin tries to help him become a Knight of Camelot. There is, however, one drawback: Lancelot is not of noble blood, and changing destiny is a very risky pastime.

Episode 6 - A Remedy to Cure All IllsWhen Lady Morgana is struck down with a mysterious illness, Gaius is at a loss for a cure. Thankfully a new physician, Edwin Muirden, is on hand to bring the King's ward back from the brink.

Episode 7 - The Gates of AvalonArthur's chivalry leads to danger when he comes to the rescue of Sophia, a damsel in distress, and her father Aulfric. Back in Camelot it seems that Sophia has really enchanted Arthur, but Merlin remains suspicious.

Episode 8 - The Beginning of the EndArthur finds an unlikely ally in Morgana when he decides to help a magical young fugitive. The pair are desperate to smuggle the boy back to his own kind, but this task takes a dangerous turn when Uther declares that anyone hiding the child will be executed.

Episode 9 - ExcaliburUther's past comes back to haunt him. A mysterious black knight rides into Camelot, throwing down his gauntlet and challenging the Knights of Camelot to mortal combat.

Episode 10 - The Moment of TruthWhen Merlin's village is attacked by a fearsome raider, he rushes home to help and is surprised when Arthur, Gwen and Morgana insist on tagging along. Will Merlin be forced to reveal his sorcery to Arthur to save the village?

Episode 11 - The Labyrinth of GedrefArthur kills a unicorn, bringing a curse upon all of Camelot. With the city fast running out of both food and water, he is desperate to make amends and help his people. But to do so, he must listen to the mysterious Anhora, and he does not like what he hears.

Episode 12 - To Kill the KingWhen Gwen's father is imprisoned for treason and killed at Uther's behest, Morgana decides she must take revenge. Merlin is stunned to discover just how far she is prepared to go when he uncovers a plot to kill the King.

Episode 13 - Le Morte d'ArthurFriendship, loyalty and love are all tested to the limit in the final episode of the series. Merlin is forced to choose between those he loves most in the world. What will Merlin have to sacrifice to protect his destiny?
