Episode 1 - The Son Also Rises

David gets a surprise visit from David Addison, Sr., his divorced father from Philadelphia. Dad's lonely life is about to get a shot in the arm as he prepares to marry a young lady named Stephanie, and he wants David to be his best man. But the role of the best man takes on an unexpected meaning.

  

Episode 2 - The Man Who Cried Wife

A businessman who killed his wife in a jealous rage calls upon Maddie and David to find her because she apparently has returned from the dead to make his life miserable.

  

Episode 3 - Symphony in Knocked Flat

David and Maddie's big night out lands them in the ring with a 270-pound Russian boxer they must save from an assassin's bullet to avert an international incident.

  

Episode 4 - Yours, Very Deadly

While David and Maddie are busy tracking down a woman's secret admirer to prevent a murder, Agnes Dipesto tries to woo Herbert, the agency's temporary clerk.

Maddie has a date, but it's not with David - and the knowledge that she's out on the town with an "old friend" sends Addison off, frantic to find out who the mystery man is.

Maddie tells a stunned David that he must forget their night together because their brief fling is over. Before Addison can convince her that she's wrong, the detectives become entangled in a new case in which a lovesick heiress tries to obtain proof that her fiance loves her for herself and not her millions.
