Episode 1 - Special 1

In the future, people’s minds are analyzed to determine their criminal potential. New Inspector Akane Tsunemori learns first-hand what it means to be an Inspector as she starts her job off with a difficult case.

In the future, people’s minds are analyzed to determine their criminal potential. On her first day on the job, Inspector Akane Tsunemori, along with two Enforcers, must track down a man who was flagged as a potential criminal and ran, taking a hostage.

  

Episode 2 - Special 2

The CID is brought in to investigate a series of deaths caused by Drones at a Drone manufacturing plant, as well as a mysterious disappearance. Akane becomes intrigued and also stumped by the behavior of Kogami, one of the Enforcers.

  

Episode 2 - Those Capable

While Kogami is recuperating from Akane’s Paralyzer shot, she begins to worry about whether she is suited to be an Inspector after the fallout from her first case. On her second day on the job, she begins to learn more about the Enforcers she works with.

The CID’s investigations into the recent murders lead them to suspect that a highly skilled hacker is assisting the killers. Kogami starts to see similarities between the current cases and the case where his colleague Sasayama was murdered.

Ginoza and Akane, along with the Enforcers, are brought in to investigate a death caused by a Drone at a Drone manufacturing plant. When the Psycho-Pass of the entire staff checks out, they question whether it was an accident or possibly murder.

  

Episode 4 - Special 4

Ginoza decides to take Kogami off the current case since it is eerily similar to the case of Kogami’s subordinate’s murder. Meanwhile, Kogami and Akane investigate independently, which leads them to conclude that the killer is within Ousou Academy.

  

Episode 4 - Nobody Knows Your Mask

When the CID is brought in to investigate a disappearance of Kimihiko Hayama, they discover that not only has he been killed, but someone has taken over his net avatar, Talisman. The CID tries to track down the fake Talisman in order to find the killer.

  

Episode 5 - Special 5

Rikako Ouryou’s case finally gives the CID a solid lead on Makishima and they begin investigating to learn more about him. In the meantime, Kogami takes Akane to have her meet a professor who used to give lectures at the MWPSB.

  

Episode 5 - Nobody Knows Your Face

The CID’s hunt for Kimihiko Hayama’s killer leads them to another murder with the same modus operandi. Now it’s up to the CID to figure out how to track down the killer’s real identity and get justice for the victims.

  

Episode 6 - Return of the Psychotic Prince

After reading Kogami’s personnel file, Akane attempts to learn more about Kogami’s past and why he ended up as an Enforcer. Meanwhile, the CID detectives attempt to figure out who was helping Kanehara commit murders in the Hachioji Drone incident.

After Kogami was finally able to contact his CID team, he and Yuki try to stay alive as Senguji hunts them. While responding to Kogami’s request for reinforcements, Akane comes face to face with the ringleader behind the kidnapping of her friend Yuki.

  

Episode 7 - Symbolism of Bletilla Striata

The CID is called in to investigate the body found under a fountain Holo, and Ginoza decides to take Kogami off the case, due to the murder’s similarity to Kogami’s subordinate’s murder. Meanwhile, the killer begins preparing their next work.

By undergoing a Memory Scoop, Akane was able to help the CID generate a photofit picture of Makishima. While they try to track down Makishima, he starts a new crime using a device that can deceive the Sibyl System’s security.

  

Episode 8 - And Then, Silence

Although Kogami is taken off the current murder case, he continues to investigate the case on his own. When he and Akane realize that the killer is within Oso Academy, the school the victims went to, they rush to school to capture the killer.

Riots break out when people are given helmets that allow them to avoid detection by the street scanners, throwing the city into chaos. The MWPSB must quell the riots while also dealing with citizens who are fighting back against the rioters.

  

Episode 9 - Special 9

After Makishima has been taken into custody, Ginoza is called in by the MWPSB Chief and told that they have lost the authority to investigate Makishima’s crimes. Instead, Ginoza’s team is tasked with finding the missing Kagari.

     

Episode 9 - Paradise Fruit

After the incident with Rikako Ouryou, the MWPSB is now aware of Makishima’s existence, and they try to dig up more evidence on him. Meanwhile, Kogami takes Akane to see a professor who used to give lectures to the MWPSB investigators.

  

Episode 10 - Methuselah’s Game

Akane gets an email from her friend Yuki. She says she wants to talk to Akane about an MWPSB case in person and specifies a time and a place to meet. Unable to contact Yuki after that, Akane enlists Kogami’s help in investigating what happened to Yuki.

  

Episode 10 - Special 10

After escaping, Kogami visits Saiga to ask for help determining what Makishima’s next move will be. Although Division 1 is assigned to capture Makishima alive and execute Kogami, Ginoza still hopes he can get Kogami to surrender before he kills Makishima.

  

Episode 11 - Saint’s Supper

While Senguji continues on with his hunting game, Kogami and Yuki try to stay alive. Meanwhile, not knowing what exactly is going on, Ginoza and the others respond to Kogami’s request for reinforcements, trying to stop the jamming and finding Kogami.

Following Makishima and Kogami, the CID Division 1 detectives arrive at the facility where the Uka-no-Mitama virus is managed. Now it’s a race between Kogami and the CID to see who can get to Makishima first and stop him from releasing the modified virus.

  

Episode 12 - Devil’s Crossroad

Before Yayoi Kunizuka became an Enforcer, she was in a rehab facility, trying to purify her Hue so that she could return to society. Then, one day, Inspectors Ginoza and Kogami asked her to help them in an investigation.

  

Episode 13 - Invitation from the Abyss

While Kogami recuperates from his injuries after the attack by Senguji, Akane decides to undergo a Memory Scoop, a procedure that will extract Makishima’s face from her memories, even though it requires her to relive watching her friend get killed.

  

Episode 14 - Sweet Poison

A man wearing a helmet is able to walk into a pharmacy, kill the pharmacists and steal medicines without triggering security alarms because his Psycho-Pass shows a clear Hue. Is he criminally asymptomatic just like Makishima?

  

Episode 15 - The Town Where Sulfur Falls

The Metropolitan area is facing an unprecedented crisis. People wearing helmets are committing crimes without being caught by the street scanners. Citizens are also picking up weapons in the name of self-defense. What is Makishima trying to achieve?

  

Episode 16 - The Gate to Judgment

After arriving at the Ministry of Welfare’s Nona Tower, Makishima and Choe Gu-Song seek out the source of the large power consumption. In the meantime, Kogami, Akane and Kagari arrive at the Tower and try to stop them.

  

Episode 17 - Iron Heart

The city is dealing with the aftermath of the riots. Ginoza is called in by the MWPSB Chief and told that the MWPSB can no longer investigate Makishima’s crimes. Instead, Division 1 is tasked with tracking down the missing Kagari.

  

Episode 18 - A Promise Written on Water

After Makishima’s escape, the MWPSB’s Chief assigns Division 1 to recapture him alive and orders Kogami taken off the case. However, Ginoza feels that Kogami is best able to track down Makishima, so he hatches a plan to keep Kogami on the case.

  

Episode 19 - Transparent Shadow

After escaping, Kogami visits Saiga to ask for help determining what Makishima’s next move will be. Although Division 1 is assigned to capture Makishima alive and execute Kogami, Ginoza still hopes he can get Kogami to surrender before he kills Makishima.

  

Episode 20 - Where Justice Lies

The Dominator reveals the whole truth of the Sybil System to Akane. Knowing the truth, Akane must now decide how to proceed. Meanwhile, Kogami continues to pursue Makishima, who is making steady progress on his plan to bring down the Sybil System.

  

Episode 21 - Blood-Stained Reward

Following Makishima and Kogami, the CID Division 1 detectives arrive at the facility where the Uka-no-Mitama virus is managed. Now it’s a race between Kogami and the CID to see who can get to Makishima first and stop him from releasing the modified virus.
