Episode 1 - Pilot

A freaked-out Sam turns to his friends Sock (Tyler Labine, "Invasion") and Ben (Rick Gonzalez, "Illegal Tender," "Coach Carter") for help and the three slackers, whose previous excitement consisted of long nights at their job at The Work Bench, decide to embrace this new destiny and set off in pursuit of their first escaped soul, an arsonist who has returned in the form of a fireman. In between fighting the demon, Sam contemplates asking his co-worker and longtime friend Andi (Missy Peregrym, "Heroes") on a date. Valarie Rae Miller, Donavan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star. Episode 2 - Charged

Sam (Bret Harrison) wakes up to find he keeps getting shocked whenever he touches things. The Devil (Ray Wise) tells him this is related to the escaped soul and he must use the new vessel, a remote control monster truck, to capture him. Sam enlists Sock (Tyler Labine) and Ben's (Rick Gonzalez) help and the three gear up in wetsuits to take down the angry soul who sucks energy from power lines for strength. Missy Peregrym, Valarie Rae Miller, Donavan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star. Peter Lauer directed the episode written by executive producers Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas.

  

Episode 3 - Magic

Andi (Missy Peregrym) invites Sam (Bret Harrison) on an overnight trip to see a Flaming Lips concert, so Sam asks the Devil (Ray Wise) for some vacation time. However, the Devil tells Sam time off isn't in his contract and sends him a new vessel box containing a dove to capture the latest escaped soul. Sam, Sock (Tyler Labine) and Ben (Rick Gonzalez) discover the soul is a former disgruntled magician who is killing people who don't appreciate his act. Valarie Rae Miller, Donavan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star. Ron Underwood directed the episode written by Kevin Murphy.

  

Episode 4 - All Mine

The Devil (Ray Wise) shows Sam (Bret Harrison) photos of several people who have been killed by insect bites and stings. Sam, Sock (Tyler Labine) and Ben (Rick Gonzalez) discover the soul is an angry mistress (guest star Julia Anderson) who sends bugs to attack anyone who gets near her former lover. Meanwhile, Sam is devastated after Andi (Missy Peregrym) meets a new guy (guest star Colby Johansson) at college who encourages her to quit The Work Bench and go back to school full-time. Valarie Rae Miller, Donavan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star. Michael Rohl directed the episode written by Jeff Vlaming.

  

Episode 5 - What About Blob?

Sam (Bret Harrison) is delivered a copy of the contract his parents signed, but it is thousands of pages long - and in Latin - so his dad (Andrew Airlie) offers to help translate it. Meanwhile, Sam finds he can't stop slipping and falling when he walks and realizes it is connected to the latest demon. With Josie's (Valarie Rae Miller) help, the trio (Harrison, Tyler Labine, Rick Gonzalez) discover the escaped soul is the former head of a chemical company that dumped toxic waste. Missy Peregrym and Donavan Stinson also star. Peter Lauer directed the episode written by Thomas Schnauz.

  

Episode 6 - Leon

Sam (Bret Harrison), Sock (Tyler Labine) and Ben (Rick Gonzalez) capture an escaped soul and take the snow globe vessel to the DMV to turn it in, but discover Gladys (guest star) is on vacation as all the demons take Halloween off. The devil (Ray Wise) is depressed because he feels Halloween mocks his very existence and gives Sam an extra-hard assignment to make himself feel better. Missy Peregrym, Valarie Rae Miller, Donavan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star. Victoria Hochberg directed the episode written by Craig DiGregorio

  

Episode 7 - Love, Bullets and Blacktop

Sam (Bret Harrison) must trap a thrill-seeking couple, Holly (guest star Mercedes McNab) and Kit (guest star Craig Stanghetta), who engineer fatal car crashes to keep their relationship fresh and exciting. Meanwhile, Sam meets a cute new girl named Taylor (guest star Pascale Hutton) and wants to ask her out but becomes suspicious after the Devil (Ray Wise) pushes him to make a move and offers inside tips on her life. Tyler Labine, Rick Gonzalez, Missy Peregrym, Valarie Rae Miller, Donavan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star. James Head directed the episode written by Yolanda Lawrence

  

Episode 8 - The Cop

Sock (Tyler Labine) becomes obsessed with Gladys (guest star), the DMV demon, after she comes into The Work Bench and makes some questionable purchases. He and Ben (Rick Gonzalez) follow her home and suspect she may be hiding bodies in her house. Meanwhile, the devil (Ray Wise) gives Sam (Bret Harrison) an expensive watch as a gesture of gratitude for all his hard work. Unfortunately, Sam discovers the devil was setting him up to take the rap for a murder the latest escaped soul committed. Missy Peregrym, Valarie Rae Miller, Donavan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star. Peter Lauer directed the episode written by David Babcock

  

Episode 9 - Ashes to Ashes

Sam (Bret Harrison) is annoyed after the devil (Ray Wise) dispatches him to do some plumbing work for a woman named Mimi (guest star Melinda Clarke). After talking to Mimi, Sam realizes she is dating the devil, although she thinks he is a playboy businessman named Jerry who refuses to settle down. She introduces Sam to her daughter Cady (guest star Jessica Stroup) and he is attracted to her, but is worried she might be the devil's daughter. Meanwhile, Ben (Rick Gonzalez) refuses to introduce Sam and Sock (Tyler Labine) to his family. Missy Peregrym, Valarie Rae Miller, Donavan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star. Victoria Hochberg directed the episode written by Thomas Schnauz.

  

Episode 10 - Cash Out

Sam (Bret Harrison) secretly begins dating Cady (guest star Jessica Stroup), even though he fears she may actually be the devil's (Ray Wise) daughter. The latest escaped soul is a former bank robber who has come back to collect the cash he hid after his last heist. Sam, Sock (Tyler Labine) and Ben (Rick Gonzalez) capture the soul then find the stolen money, leading to an argument about what to do with it. Missy Peregrym, Valarie Rae Miller, Donavan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star. Stephen Cragg directed the episode written by Yolanda Lawrence.

  

Episode 11 - Hungry for Fame

Sam (Bret Harrison) tries to save an untalented musician (guest star Jamie Kennedy) from selling his soul to the Devil (Ray Wise) to become a rock star.  Meanwhile, Sock (Tyler Labine) is stunned when his mother (guest star Marilyn Norry) returns from Las Vegas and announces she got married.  He refuses to accept her new husband (guest star Henry Mah), so he moves in with Sam.  Rick Gonzalez, Missy Peregrym, Valarie Rae Miller, Donavan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star.  James Head directed the episode written by James Eagan.

  

Episode 12 - Unseen

After his mom kicks him out of the house, Sock (Tyler Labine) convinces Sam (Bret Harrison) and Ben (Rick Gonzalez) to move with him to a condo.  The three are overjoyed after they meet their new neighbors, Steve (guest star Michael Ian Black) and Tony (guest star Ken Marino), a gay couple who spoiled them with home-cooked meals and their favorite drinks.  The guys become overly dependent on Steve and Tony and decide they are their new replacement parents.  Strange things start happening whenever Sam is around Cady (guest star Jessica Stroup), reopening his suspicions that she is the Devil’s (Ray Wise) daughter.  Missy Peregrym, Valarie Rae Miller, Donavan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star.  Michael Robison directed the episode written by Treena Hancock & Melissa Byer.

  

Episode 13 - Acid Queen

Sam (Bret Harrison) tells Sock (Tyler Labine) and Ben (Rick Gonzalez) they can't be friends with Steve (guest star Michael Ian Black) and Tony (guest star Ken Marino) anymore, which leaves Sock depressed because he has become so used to having Steve and Tony take care of him.  The escaped soul is a woman (guest star Emmanuelle Vaugier, “Smallville”) who is threatened by beautiful girls and has come back to kill all the women she feels are more beautiful than she is.  Sam panics when he finds out the soul's next victim is Andi (Missy Peregrym) and races to save her.  Ray Wise, Valarie Rae Miller, Donavan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star.  James Head directed the episode written by Alan Cross.

  

Episode 14 - Rebellion

Steve (guest star Michael Ian Black) and Tony (guest star Ken Marino) tell Sam (Bret Harrison) they want to exploit Sam’s relationship with the Devil (Ray Wise) to lure the Devil into a trap where the other demons can then destroy him.  Ted (Donovan Stinson) asks Sock’s (Tyler Labine) permission to ask Josie (Valarie Rae Miller) out on a date.  Thinking she’ll never say yes, Sock agrees, but when Josie agrees to go out with Ted, Sock decides to win her back.  Missy Peregrym, Rick Gonzalez and Andrew Airlie also star.  Kevin Dowling directed the episode written by Kevin Murphy & Craig DiGregorio.

  

Episode 15 - Coming to Grips

Sam (Bret Harrison) panics after Andi (Missy Peregrym) sees him beheading a demon and, believing he has killed someone in cold blood, threatens to go to the cops.  Desperate to tell Andi the truth, Sam makes a deal with Devil (Ray Wise).  Meanwhile, Ben (Rick Gonzalez) gets married under strange circumstances, and Tony (guest star Michael Ian Black) reappears in his true demon form.  Tyler Labine, Valarie Rae Miller, Donovan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star.  Michael Grossman directed the episode written by Thomas Schnauz & Kevin Etten.

  

Episode 16 - Greg, Schmeg

Sam (Bret Harrison) is less than thrilled when Andi's (Missy Peregrym) ex-boyfriend Greg (guest star Colby Johannson) reappears on the scene and asks Andi out on a date. To Sam's shock and dismay, Andi accepts and decides to break up with Sam. Suspicious about Greg's sudden power of persuasion, Sam investigates and discovers Greg has sold his soul to the Devil (Ray Wise) in order to win back his one true love. Tyler Labine, Rick Gonzalez, Valarie Rae Miller, Donovan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star. Jeff Melaman directed the episode written by Chris Black and Jeff Vlaming.

  

Episode 17 - The Leak

Someone Is Double-Crossing the Devil — After Sam (Bret Harrison) turns in a soul named Mike (guest star Richard Burgi) who somehow keep returning to Earth, the Devil (Ray Wise) tells him there is a leak in Hell and he better find out who is responsible. Sam, Sock (Tyler Labine) and Ben (Rick Gonzalez) discover Gladys (guest star Christine Willes) is helping Mike escape and aren't sure whether to turn their friend over to a very angry Devil. Missy Peregrym, Valarie Rae Miller, Donovan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star. John Fortenberry directed the episode written by Chris Dingess.

  

Episode 18 - Cancun

Tony and the Demons Set a Trap for Sam -- The demons target Sam (Bret Harrison) when they fear he may pose a greater threat to their rebellion than the Devil (Ray Wise) himself.  A treacherous trap is set, bringing surprising allies to Sam's side and leading to shocking revelations that could have explosive implications for his future.  Meanwhile, Sock (Tyler Labine) falls for a demon (guest star Cindy Sampson).  Missy Peregrym, Rick Gonzalez, Valarie Rae Miller, Donovan Stinson and Andrew Airlie also star.  Stephen Cragg directed the episode written by Michele Fazekas & Tara Butters & Tom Spezialy.
