Season 1 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - Series Premiere! 3-Day Engine Overhaul

The guys attempt a three-day overhaul of the 351 Cleveland engine from a '67 Mercury Cougar that was once Freiburger's. The "rebuild" is not exactly kosher, but it's dirt cheap and generates good tire smoke.

Episode 2 - Wrenching for Speed in the Roadkill Crop Duster!

David, Steve and a '70 Plymouth Duster return to the drag strip in search of the elusive 11-second quarter mile. The car has a new 500-horsepower 383, and the guys are ready to attack their demons and have fun in the process.

Episode 3 - Field-Find Abandoned Truck Rescue!

David and Steve try to revive a 1975-ish Dodge pickup whose engine has been rotting outside since Ronald Reagan was president. When the adventure starts, they have no clue if the 360 small block can be saved.

Episode 4 - Dirt-Cheap 1970 Challenger Rescue!

David and Steve had a blast getting an old Dodge 360 running and driving in a gutted old truck. Now they want to jerk that engine and transplant it into a '70 Challenger that has been off the road since at least 1989.

Episode 5 - Rare Jeep Revival and Road Trip!

David and Steve try to revive a 1967 Jeep J100 panel truck from Rick Pewe's backyard. The goal is to finish in time to drive the newly-named Flannel Wagon up to the land speed races at El Mirage Lake, before heading out off-road.

Episode 6 - The Roadkill Muscle Truck!

The '74 Chevy Muscle Truck is back, this time for a mini-makeover in preparation for the 2016 Hot Rod Power Tour. The goal will be improved highway cruising while preserving the stepside's massive burnout capability.

Episode 7 - Freiburger's Jeep Rocks!

David and Steve attack a Jeep Scrambler that's been in the Freiburger fleet for about 20 years. They pull it out of hiding, spiff up some mechanical glitches, and head out for some hard-core rock-crawling adventures.

Episode 8 - Dirt-Cheap Chevelle Buildup!

David and Steve build up a cool, vintage body style by adding extra doors to a 1966 Chevelle they picked up for $1,000. It's all about fast and cheap trying to get this muscle car out for some sideways action on a dirt oval.

Episode 9 - Beater vs. Bucks-Up Chevelle Showdown!

The Crew Cab Chevelle is back for some basic suspension upgrades. Once complete, it goes head-to-head on the autocross with Lucky Costa's '66 two-door daily driver, with its LS engine, six-speed transmission and trick suspension.

Episode 10 - More Speed for the Crop Duster!

The Crop Duster is a back-to-basics street and strip machine with big-block power. It's running its quickest quarter mile ever, running in the 11s in no-prep track conditions.

Episode 11 - Pontiac Bonneville to Bonneville!

For no good reason, David has always wanted to drive a Pontiac Bonneville to the Bonneville Salt Flats. Steve picks up a 1967 station wagon, and the two are on the road, arriving in Utah to a big surprise.

Episode 12 - Freiburger's Road Runner Makeover!

For years, David has had designs on making a daily driver out of a 1971 Plymouth Road Runner from the Steve Dulcich Dog Farm. A previous repaint has turned to chalk, and he has to do something about the tiny tires.

Episode 13 - Road Runner Budget Power Upgrades

David's 1971 Plymouth Road Runner looks cool, but it's shamefully gutless. The guys do some basic engine checks to find out why it's not making power, then hop it up a little with a vintage intake manifold and fresh Holley carb.
