Season 1 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - Pilot

In the series premiere, we meet the fabulously dysfunctional Gallagher family of working-class Chicago. Dad's a drunk; Mom split long ago; eldest daughter Fiona tries to hold the family together; eldest son Philip (Lip) tutors the neighborhood girls in physics and is repaid in kind; middle son Ian is grappling with homosexuality -- and being grappled by his married Pakistani employer at the corner liquor store; youngest daughter Debbie is stealing money from her UNICEF collection to help put food on the table; ten year old Carl is a budding sociopath and arsonist; and toddler Liam is -- well, he might actually be black, but nobody has a clue how. Meanwhile, the electric bill is due, there's no money, and someone has to look after the baby... Episode 1 - Season 1, Episode 1: Pilot

In the series premiere, we meet the fabulously dysfunctional Gallagher family of working-class Chicago. Episode 2 - Frank the Plank

Drunk as a skunk, Frank has a run in with Karen Jackson's father and returns home to take it out on Ian. But Frank turns up in Toronto -- with no passport and no clue as to how he got there, and Steve has to figure out how to get him back to Chicago.

  

Episode 2 - Season 1, Episode 2: Frank the Plank

Drunk as a skunk, Frank has a run in with Karen Jackson's father and returns home to take it out on Ian. Episode 3 - Season 1, Episode 3: Aunt Ginger

Having blown off Steve, Fiona turns her attention to Tony (guest star TYLER JACOB MOORE), the cop who's had a crush on her since childhood. After having sex in his cop car with Fiona, Tony pursues a relationship with her.Steve, however, has not given up the fight. A woman from the Office of Inspector General suspects that someone may be stealing and cashing social security checks belonging to Aunt Ginger, the Gallagher's elderly aunt who owns the house they live in. Now, Frank and his whole clan must find their aunt and bring her home before the government woman comes back the next morning to interview Aunt Ginger. Ian rejects the advances of Mandy Milkovich (guest star JANE LEVY), one of the girls in his class. So, she tells her three thug brothers that Ian took advantage of her and they set out to give Ian a beat down.

Steve busies himself on a hunt to steal the perfect Lexus and Fiona finds herself in the passenger seat. Ian and Kash try to take their relationship a little further, but Ian may not be ready. Meanwhile, during a routine medical disability examination, Frank learns that he has a tumor -- and spirals out of control as he deals with the news.

Lip has been contributing to the family bank account with proceeds from test-taking for his fellow students. His reputation for excelling at the SAT is getting around, and word spreads to some people he would rather have kept unaware. The Kash and Grab continues to get pilfered by a local hood, and Kash (guest star Pej Vahdat) and Ian are both ashamed at their inability to stop it. Meanwhile, Frank's bad business sense continues to yield consequences he's unprepared to embrace.

Who better, since the agoraphobic Sheila (guest star JOAN CUSACK) never leaves home. But what happens when Liam wanders outside the house...?

When Lip meets with a college professor, Karen begins to question the seriousness of their relationship. Ian continues to pursue Mickey (guest star NOEL FISHER). Sheila worries Frank is no longer attracted to her.

Kash catches Ian and Mickey going at it. An enraged Fiona moves out of the house and in with Steve.

Episode 13 - Season 2, Episode 1: Summertime

The Gallaghers are hustling in summertime Chicago. Despite her breakup with Steve, Fiona seems to be doing just fine. She's bartending at a local hotspot with Veronica (series star SHANOLA HAMPTON )hanging out with a successful young exec and enjoying her youth…it is after all the only time of year she has to let loose. Jasmine (guest star AMY SMART) introduces her sugar daddy David to Fiona. Meanwhile at the Gallagher House Debbie is running a daycare with Carl (series star ETHAN CUTKOSKY). Ian takes over at the Kash and Grab when Kash (guest star PEJ VAHDAT) leaves town. Lip is running a Little League book and helping Kev (series star STEVE HOWEY) out with their annual ice cream/pot truck. However Kev may be in over his head when his crop overflows thanks to Ethel's green thumb.

  

Episode 14 - Season 2, Episode 2: Summer Loving

As Sheila continues to make progress conquering her agoraphobiaa worried Frank needs a new plan. Frank turns his attention to fellow bar patron Dottie 'Butterface' Coronis (guest star MOLLY PRICE). Lucky for Frank Dottie's rapidly declining health and city pension just might make Dottie his perfect match. Fiona continues to juggle her job, the kids and her burgeoning love life – now that Steve has gone. Jasmine (guest star AMY SMART) tries to help by setting up Fiona with a sugar daddy of her own, Richard (guest star JOHNNY SNEED). Veronica takes some old folks from the home for an excursion day. Lip worries about Karen's growing relationship with Jody (guest star ZACH McGOWAN). Ian tries to land a recently released Mickey (guest star NOEL FISHER) a job at the Kash and Grab. Debbie wants her own room. Carl moves into the van.

  

Episode 15 - Season 2, Episode 3: I'll Light a Candle for You Every Day

Fiona hopes her moral compass isn't leading her astray when she reconnects with Craig Heisner (guest star TAYLOR KINNEY) her married high school crush. But when she finds an abandoned purse with over five hundred dollars inside she assumes her luck is finally changing. Meanwhile Frank is willing to do just about anything to stay in Dottie's good graces…even marry her. And in light of Harry's demise Debbie becomes obsessed with death. Kevin is thinking about buying The Alibi. Lip meets with a Colonel (guest star PETER MURNIK) to glean information for Ian about West Point. Jody asks Frank for Karen's hand in marriage.

  

Episode 16 - Season 2, Episode 4: A Beautiful Mess

Fiona deals with the consequences of sleeping with Craig Heisner when his angry wife Lucy Jo (guest star BRIT MORGAN) shows up at the door. When Debbie develops a stress-rash Fiona wonders if she's putting too much responsibility on the kids. Fiona encourages Debbie to invite her friends over for a sleepover party at the house. Now that Sheila has made it all the way to the hair salon Frank realizes his days in the Jackson household are numbered and plots to scare Sheila back inside. Now that Karen and Lip are no longer having sex Lip tries to dig up dirt on Jody. Ian continues on the path to West Point. Carl housesits with his friend Little Hank (guest star NICKY KORBA). Ethel (guest star MADISON DAVENPORT) meets Malik (guest star JUSTIN MITCHELL) a boy on Kev's youth-basketball team.

  

Episode 17 - Season 2, Episode 5: Father's Day

Now that Eddie Jackson's body has been recovered Frank's on a mission to claim Eddie's pension or insurance benefits. But wait, wasn't Frank last seen running from a murderous Eddie? Frank's now a prime suspect in his disappearance. Fiona's sugar daddy Richard takes her to a high-profile wedding. Not wanting to surrender her fantasy life Fiona lies about where she's from; and although Richard falls for it the other wedding guests don't. Lip is devastated when he learns that Karen and Jody got married. He steps up to be a father to Karen's baby but Karen tells him to back off... for good. Carl rents Frank's room to a hooker. Debbie wants to be attractive for Little Hank. Veronica thinks that Kev is cheating. And Sheila finally learns what really happened last season between Frank and Karen.

  

Episode 18 - Season 2, Episode 6: Can I Have a Mother

The arrival of Grammy Gallagher (guest star LOUISE FLETCHER) brings Frank and Fiona together… with an unstable alliance in their future. Debbie gets an unexpected visitor at her day care when Peggy Grammy Gallagher is dropped off – released on medical furlough. Grammy enlists Frank to help her chase down a debt from Dr. Noah Pitts (guest star ROB BENEDICT) her former meth lab protégé. Steve returns and invites Fiona on a double date where Fiona and Adam (guest star JAMES WOLK) meet Steve and his Brazilian conquest Estefania (guest star STEPHANIE FANTAUZZI) for lunch. Fiona learns another of Steve's secrets and Debbie reveals the truth about 'Jimmy'. While Sheila plans Karen's wedding reception Frank explodes when he finds out Karen is the beneficiary to Eddie's life insurance policy. And Sheila kicks him out.

  

Episode 19 - Season 2, Episode 7: A Bottle of Jean Nate

As summer comes to an end Fiona is readying the kids for their return to school. When Jasmine invites Fiona on David's boat for one last summer blowout she fails to mention that she also invited Steve and Estefania. To get back in Karen's good graces Lip helps her forge a pre-nuptial agreement for Jody to sign. But Karen eventually snaps and kicks Jody out. Ian meanwhile continues to give Lip the silent treatment and they soon come to blows. Meanwhile, Frank is officially Grammy's errand boy. And although he'd do just about anything to kick her out Fiona likes having he around. That is until Carl blows up their meth lab in the basement! Next door Kev and V get a pet to help them get over the loss of Ethel.

  

Episode 20 - Season 2, Episode 8: Parenthood

While Sheila and Jody tend to a dying Grammy Frank decides to remove himself from the house. He stops at the Kash and Grab and accidentally walks in on Ian and Mickey going at it. A panicked Mickey vows to kill Frank to keep him quiet. When Lip quits school Fiona makes a bargain with him: she'll go back and get her diploma if he does. While she starts studying for the GED Karen and Lip meet with adoption agencies. It soon becomes apparent to Lip however that Karen plans to sell their baby to the highest bidder. In response he starts acting out and… gets expelled. Meanwhile Steve steps up to coach Carl's football team.

  

Episode 21 - Season 2, Episode 9: Hurricane Monica

Monica's back – cooking, partying, and scamming with Frank just like old times. But the kids have to wonder: is she really here to stay? And while everyone is dealing with Grammy's death differently, Frank is eager to pick up Grammy's remains... her remaining cash from Dr. Pitts that he believes is hidden at Sheila's. However, Frank can't seem to find the time to claim his mother's ashes from the city morgue. Fiona begins to regret her decision to kick Lip out – especially when Karen wants to charge him rent. Lip searches for a new place to crash and Steve agrees to take Lip in – an arrangement Fiona's not happy about it. Looking into starting her own hospice Sheila and Jody suspect that Eddie's ghost is haunting the house. Terry Milkovich (guest star DENNIS COCKRUM) accuses Ian of getting Mandy (guest star EMMA GREENWELL) pregnant.

  

Episode 22 - Season 2, Episode 10: A Great Cause

Having Monica around to help out opens Fiona up to a world of possibilities – as she continues to pursue her GED and pushes for a management position at the club. Steve, meanwhile learns that Estefania is still in love with her ex-boyfriend Marco (guest star THIERRE DI CASTRO). Conspiring with Lip to sneak Marco back into the country via shipping container Steve hopes that he and Fiona can finally be together. Meanwhile Monica starts to unravel – fighting with Frank, spending the squirrel fund, and ending up in jail. As Monica slips back into her depression however Fiona finds herself back at square one. While Ian tries to avoid the wrath of Terry Milkovich. Lip worries Mandy's baby could be his. But when they learn the baby is actually Terry's Ian organizes an impromptu abortion fundraiser. Sheila takes in Ruben (guest star MOSHE KASHER) a homeless hospice patient with a tracheotomy hole and a crack addiction. And Veronica tells Kev she can't have kids.

  

Episode 23 - Season 2, Episode 11: Just Like the Pilgrims Intended

While Fiona's planning a nice Thanksgiving Monica's becoming more depressed than ever. Nobody can get Monica out of bed until Frank finally drags her to his brother Clayton's to help him claim his share of Grammy's money. When Monica fails to seduce Clayton (guest star KRISTOFFER WINTERS) she continues on her alarming downward spiral. Steve finally stands up to Fiona after Estefania and Marco have a tumultuous reunion. When Marco threatens to kill Steve for sleeping with his girlfriend Steve agrees to surrender his identity so that Marco can stay in the country married to Estefania. Now Steve can finally be with Fiona… or so he thinks. With Debbie worried that depression might be genetic Frank realizes it may be time for Monica to get back on her meds so he steals some lithium from Sheila. Things are finally looking up as the family gathers for Thanksgiving dinner… that is until Monica slits her wrists.

  

Episode 24 - Season 2, Episode 12: Fiona Interrupted

In the irreverent and emotional season finale Jimmy (Steve) has earned his way back into Fiona's good graces in the aftermath of Monica's suicide attempt. With nothing left to hide Jimmy finally wants Fiona to meet his family. Meanwhile a lonely Frank plans to break Monica out of the psychiatric facility. Meanwhile Sheila and Jody conspire to harbor Karen's fugitive baby; but when Karen gives her mom an ultimatum Sheila's forced to decide between her daughter and her grandchild. Lip however desperately pushes Karen to do the right thing for her baby even if it isn't his. And as Fiona awaits her GED results Ian runs into Ned (guest star HARRY HAMLIN) again Debbie tries to help Frank with Monica and Eddie's long-awaited insurance check arrives…

  

Episode 25 - Season 3, Episode 1: El Gran Canon

In the third season premiere, the shameless Gallaghers are back – as Fiona scrounges for cash, Lip gets arrested, and Frank wakes up in Mexico – with no money or passport.

Fiona wakes in a panic. She can't believe she gave Meg a thousand dollars. She has no idea how to run a club night. Plus, the property tax is two weeks overdue. Lip finds out; and he's outraged. When Frank stumbles home drunk looking for a bed, nobody wants him back, except Debbie. Debbie not only tends to Frank, but she also helps Sheila with fussy Hymie. Unfortunately, for Sheila and Jody, however, Frank may be the only one that can keep him quiet. Lip begins his community service where he meets Casper (guest star JOSEPH FUHR) and the kids from City Youth, a group of North Side do-gooders helping to clean up the South Side. Lip comes up with a scam, however, to put these kids to work for his own financial benefit. Despite all her hard work, Fiona fails to make any money off the club, leaving Lip to use his newfound yuppie friends to make some money back. Kev's wife Cheryl (guest star CAMERON RICHARDSON) returns with her son Kyle. Frank calls Child Services on his own family.

Frank tells Carl he has cancer in order to scam a charity foundation. Fiona is blown away by what's asked of her in her new job. Lip hunts for a neighborhood pedophile.

Carl says his goodbyes as he heads off to cancer camp, but he isn't sold on the camp's activities. No rifle range, no water skiing, no horseback riding... no fun! Always resourceful, Carl manages to find new friends and make the best of a sad situation. With Frank on babysitting duty, Sheila wants to introduce Jody to "Toy Time." As a favor to Sheila (and to literally save his own ass), Frank agrees to be a reluctant Jody's sex coach. After realizing Bobby the grocery store manager uses his entire staff for his personal pleasure, Fiona attempts to unite her coworkers against their boss. Child Protective Services pays a visit. Jimmy faces his first true family crisis and, when Fiona fails to provide the support he needs, he turns to Este (STEPHANIE FANTAUZZI).

The Department of Family Services hauls the Gallagher children away leaving Fiona desperate to get them back. Lip and Ian tough it out in a group home that's more like a prison. Debbie is placed with Kamala (guest star JUANITA JENNINGS), a God-fearing woman who believes in "tough love." Carl and Liam live the posh life with gay couple Cassius and Lanier (guest stars CHRIS BUTLER and MIKE DOYLE), but Carl doesn't have any time to enjoy it as he fears they will try to adopt Liam. With Monica nowhere to be found, Fiona is forced to find Frank and get him ready to make a 'Father of the Year' appearance in court in order to win the kids back. All goes according to plan, until Fiona discovers that Frank's not only the solution to her problems with the DFS... but the cause of them! Jimmy dodges calls from his dad while he plays babysitter to Molly. Kev and Veronica recruit V's mother as a surrogate. Season four picks up a few weeks after season three left off – with the Gallaghers braving another brutal Chicago winter and waiting on the medical fate of their flawed and permanently pickled patriarch Frank. With oldest daughter Fiona (Rossum) in a stable job and relationship, and newly graduated Lip (series star Jeremy Allen White) enrolled in college, can the Gallaghers finally realize the middle class American dream? Episode 38 - Season 4, Episode 2: My Oldest Daughter

Fiona begins to enjoy the perks of living life just above the poverty line – using her newly activated health benefits to take the kids for checkups. Everything's great – until her boss/boyfriend Mike gets mad that she didn't call the night before when she said she would. Fiona chalks it up to a little white lie. However, when a road rage incident damages the company car, Fiona tells a much bigger lie about how it happened. When Mike catches her, they're both forced to confront their relationship issues. Episode 40 - Season 4, Episode 4: Strangers On a Train

Against her better judgment, Fiona continues her secret affair with Robbie. And the situation nearly boils over when Mike shows up at Robbie's apartment while Fiona's inside. Fiona is able to hide just in time before her infidelity can be exposed. In increasingly dire health straits due to liver disease, Frank attempts to contrive an "accident" that will provide an ample insurance payout to cover the cost of a potential transplant. Too physically weak to injure himself, he enlists the help of an overeager Carl. With the odds stacked against him, he gets more bad news when it is revealed that Sammi isn't a match for a transplant. Lip continues to struggle with the full plate in front of him and shows up at Mandy's out of loneliness, while Debbie's age difference with Matt puts their relationship on the rocks.

  

Episode 41 - Season 4, Episode 5: There's the Rub

Fiona's series of bad decisions involving Robbie finally boil over when he alerts Mike of their affair – leaving Fiona horrified and in employment limbo. Frank and Sammi continue their pursuit of curing his liver trouble, while also catching up on the father-daughter time that Sammi's always craved.

  

Episode 42 - Season 4, Episode 6: Iron City

The aftermath of Liam's accident lands Fiona in county jail – unsure of Liam's condition or her future. Meanwhile, the family (minus Frank) waits nervously for any update on Liam's condition at the hospital.

In the aftermath of Fiona's release from jail, the Gallaghers deal with some changing dynamics. With Fiona under court order to remain inside the house and Frank's illness keeping him out of commission, the weight of their guardianship lies squarely on Lip's shoulders. As he simultaneously struggles to keep up with his responsibilities at school, Lip gets some unexpected assistance from his roommate's girlfriend, Amanda (guest star Nichole Bloom).

  

Episode 44 - Season 4, Episode 8: Hope Springs Paternal

Fiona prepares for a visit from her probation officer and must rid the house of all suspicious items – a mission that puts her directly at odds with Debbie and Carl. Meanwhile, Ian gets kicked out of Mickey's house by a hammer-wielding Svetlana (guest star Isidora Goreshter), and finally makes his long-awaited return to the Gallagher house.

  

Episode 45 - Season 4, Episode 9: The Legend of Bonnie and Carl

In detention, Carl shares a connection with a troubled girl named Bonnie (guest star Morgan Lily). Lip grows close to his roommate's now ex-girlfriend, while Debbie sets out to make life miserable for the new girl in Matty's life. Sheila returns from her trip to the reservation with big plans to adopt the Native American kids. Fiona experiences the struggles of job-hunting with a criminal record, while Mickey ignores the birth of his son to spend time with Ian, whose behavior is becoming increasingly erratic.

  

Episode 46 - Season 4, Episode 10: Liver? I Hardly Know Her

Fiona goes off the rails – violating multiple terms of her probation by partying with Robbie's degenerate friends. When the family doesn't hear from her it sends them into search party mode, not too unlike their past experiences with Frank.

  

Episode 47 - Season 4, Episode 11: Emily

Fiona is hauled away to a rough correctional facility as Frank wakes up from his operation suffering from post-operative delirium. Meanwhile, Ian is annoyed at the lack of commitment he sees from Mickey and delivers an ultimatum. After meeting Amanda's parents, Lip makes a decision that he hopes will help his family while also keeping his new 'girlfriend' happy. Debbie meets an older student Henry (guest star Austin Abrams), who has a dark ulterior motive.

  

Episode 48 - Season 4, Episode 12: Lazarus

A more cognizant Frank begins to recuperate from his liver transplant, as Sheila fights for custody of the Native American kids, and clashes with Sammi about where they will all live once Frank is released. Meanwhile, Lip catches up on bills. After Fiona passes a drug test and returns home, her parole officer Gayle (special guest star Regina King) finds her a job at Patsy's Pies. Also, Carl is heartbroken when he is deserted by Bonnie. Frank is feeling like his old troubled self.

  

Episode 49 - Season 5, Episode 1: Milk of the Gods

In the season five premiere, it's summertime again in Chicago. Fiona balances her job at Patsy's Pies with a crush on her older boss, Sean (Mulroney). After saying goodbye to college and Amanda (recurring guest star Nichole Bloom), Lip heads back home where he struggles to fit in with his old Southside friends. But he's not the only thing in the neighborhood that's changing. With realtors buying up property, there's even a new trendy yoga studio that's popped up. Meanwhile, Frank, still recovering from his liver transplant, is living at Sheila's and working on a secret project in her basement, while Sheila (Cusack) works upstairs to get rid of a problematic Sammi (Bergl) and Chuckie (guest star Kellen Michael).

  

Episode 50 - Season 5, Episode 2: I'm the Liver

Fiona is finally officially off house arrest, while Lip starts his first day of work for Tommy (recurring guest star Michael Patrick McGill). But manual labor turns out to be much harder for Lip than he thought... and the brutal hazing from his co-workers certainly doesn’t help. Meanwhile, a manic Ian plans his revenge against a homophobic military funeral protest with Mickey and Mandy Milkovich (recurring guest star Emma Greenwell).

  

Episode 51 - Season 5, Episode 3: The Two Lisas

The gentrification of Chicago's Back of the Yards neighborhood continues as Frank enlists Carl to scare off potential investors who are buying up more property in the neighborhood, while pleading with Sheila not to cave and sell her home. Meanwhile, Frank sets the owner of a junkyard up with his daughter, Sammi under shady pretenses in exchange for new brewery equipment.

Episode 55 - Season 5, Episode 7: Tell Me You Fucking Need Me

As Ian begins to regain some of his senses, he is upset to find himself under a mandatory 72-hour hold at the psych ward. Meanwhile, when Frank returns home from the hospital refusing to apologize to Sammi and with a new determination to take care of himself without her help, Sammi is forced to take more drastic measures to teach Frank a valuable lesson.

  

Episode 56 - Season 5, Episode 8: Uncle Carl

When Lip and Fiona arrive to pick Ian up from the psych ward, Mickey is noticeably absent. Ian's doctor encourages them to get Ian on a regimen of pills, which proves to be difficult as Ian refuses to accept his bipolar diagnosis. Debbie is tasked with minding Ian's new meds and when he flushes them down the toilet, Debbie will go to great lengths to get him new ones.

  

Episode 57 - Season 5, Episode 9: Carl's First Sentencing

Frank goes to see his uptight doctor, Bianca (guest star Bojana Novakovic), for a wound checkup, but Bianca is falling apart after receiving a grim cancer diagnosis. So when Frank learns that Bianca hasn’t "truly lived," he agrees to be her tour guide to the seedier side of life.

  

Episode 58 - Season 5, Episode 10: Southside Rules

Frank is having a ball with new sick friend Bianca, but when Bianca thinks Frank might be developing feelings for her, she kicks him to the curb. But Frank returns to put up a fight, assuring her that he won't put her through what her family is putting her through. She relents when he promises he won't ask her to seek treatment.

  

Episode 59 - Season 5, Episode 11: Drugs Actually

A lot of new sexual tension exists between Fiona and Sean after their night at the diner. But with Ian now in a military pretrial facility, the gang must set off to visit him and to explain his condition to his attorneys. In the end, Fiona returns to Sean for support, and they get each other through another romantically charged, difficult, and emotional night.

  

Episode 60 - Season 5, Episode 12: Love Songs (In the Key of Gallagher)

In the season finale, Fiona reunites with Gus after his tour but is torn by her feelings for Sean. Meanwhile, Frank has love struggles of his own with a dying Bianca in Costa Rica.

Episode 62 - Season 6, Episode 2: #AbortionRules

Debbie's determined to keep her baby. Fiona's determined to persuade her to abort. Trying to prove Fiona wrong about her ability to raise a child, Debbie carries a bag of flour around all day while going to school, but quickly realizes people are not as accommodating to mothers and babies as she hoped.

  

Episode 63 - Season 6, Episode 3: The F Word

Debbie turns to Frank for support. He teaches her how to work the welfare system to her advantage while they plan Fiona's abortion intervention. Meanwhile, Kevin and Veronica (series stars Steve Howey and Shanola Hampton) visit Yanis (recurring guest star Will Sasso) in hospital and learn he's been paralyzed. V won't let Kev confess so he tries to make amends, but when Yanis arrives home and sees the two Lisas (recurring guest stars Jenica Bergere and Lee Stark), he tries to kill them with Kev's van.

  

Episode 64 - Season 6, Episode 4: Going Once, Going Twice

Fiona confronts Patrick (guest star Brent Sexton) about the eviction notice, but the house is in foreclosure. Her only choice is to get a mortgage from the bank and bid on the house at the upcoming auction. Ian bakes cookies for the firehouse and discovers he was saved by the shift of gay firemen.

  

Episode 65 - Season 6, Episode 5: Refugees

Debbie’s presence at the Wexlers’ is welcomed by Erica (guest star Ever Carradine), but not by Tyler (guest star Michael McMillian). Frank tells her to up her game while he helps Erica through his “cancer concierge” process. She manages to be a shoulder for Tyler to lean on — which secures the guestroom in their house that Frank’s determined to share.

  

Episode 66 - Season 6, Episode 6: Nsfw

As Ian’s relationship with Caleb (guest star Jeff Pierre) gets more serious, Lip is still reeling from the very public Helene scandal. When he’s called to appear before a Faculty Disciplinary Committee, Helene accepts all blame and tells the committee she will no longer teach or see Lip. And Lip is devastated.

  

Episode 67 - Season 6, Episode 7: Pimp's Paradise

Carl, struggling with Nick's absence, continues to put up a false "hood" bravado. He takes over the Gallagher home remaking it as his "crib" and invites his friends over to party and make music. Frank and Queenie (guest star Sherilyn Fenn) rule the house and Debbie returns when she's let go by the Wexlers.

  

Episode 68 - Season 6, Episode 8: Be a Good Boy. Come for Grandma

Now living with Sean, Fiona attempts to get his son, Will (guest star Reed Emmons), to like her. Will slowly starts to come around, but when he snags a gun from Carl at the Gallagher house, Sean catches him and is furious with Fiona, worried he'll lose custody.

  

Episode 69 - Season 6, Episode 9: A Yurt of One's Own

Fiona tries to make amends with Sean, who isn’t giving her the time of day. Meanwhile, Debbie and Queenie travel to Queenie’s rural commune along with Frank who is trying to escape G-Dogg (guest star Na’im Lynn) who’s after him for stealing his drugs.

  

Episode 70 - Season 6, Episode 10: Paradise Lost

Sean officially moves into the Gallagher house as Fiona — intent on getting her marriage right this time — sets out to plan a traditional wedding, bachelorette party included. Elsewhere, Kev is still not happy about V and Svetlana's pending green card marriage and tries to find a way around it by paying to get her a new identity. While he is off getting scammed, the girls take matters into their own hands.

  

Episode 71 - Season 6, Episode 11: Sleep No More

In an effort to be a part of the wedding, Frank offers to pay for the reception and goes scamming around town to raise the money. Sean, who's been butting heads with Frank since he moved in, is worried Frank will just end up hurting Fiona and confronts him on it. Things turn physical and both men are injured in a brawl.

  

Episode 72 - Season 6, Episode 12: Familia Supra Gallegorious Omnia!

It's wedding day and Debbie shows up at the church with Franny. Ian finally brings Caleb to meet the family. Frank shows up uninvited and high, and he reveals that Sean is still a practicing junkie. Concerned about preserving his relationship with his son — who is shocked by the news — Sean does everything he can to keep Will in his life.

  

Episode 73 - Season 7, Episode 1: Hiraeth

In the season seven premiere, it’s May in Chicago. Frank awakens from his month-long coma to find that... no one missed him. While Fiona struggles with managing Patsy’s Pies, Lip takes a job as Fiona’s new dishwasher. Having successfully completed rehab, he’s determined to stay sober, and able to help an increasingly worried Ian, who suspects Caleb (recurring guest star JEFF PIERRE) of cheating. Meanwhile, Carl looks into surgery after learning he’s the only uncircumcised Gallagher brother. And, worried she isn’t a good mother, Debbie takes a criminal approach to making sure Franny grows up wealthy.

  

Episode 74 - Season 7, Episode 2: Swipe, Fuck, Leave

Ready to disown his family, Frank takes Liam under his wing and starts a new life barricaded on the top floor of the Gallagher home. Fiona, meanwhile, adopts a new, relaxed attitude and starts running Patsy's Pies on her own terms. In order to save the restaurant, she cleans house and hires a new staff. Debbie gets into trouble in the stroller business; Ian tries out heterosexuality; and Carl finds himself forced into abstinence when he has to spend 72 hours not thinking about the opposite sex after his circumcision.

Kevin, Veronica and Svetlana start a topless maid service. At the shelter, meanwhile, Frank makes new friends to replace his old family - leading them to a for-sale house converted into the Gallagher Home for the Homeless. Plus, Debbie's new lifestyle comes to an abrupt end; Carl gets a syphilis scare; Ian struggles with a breakup; Lip struggles with humility at his new internship; and with Fiona on the run to clean up after her siblings, business at Patsy's hits the skids.

  

Episode 76 - Season 7, Episode 4: I Am a Storm

Worried that he and his new Gallagher clan are going to lose yet another shelter, Frank devises a plan to change neighborhood perception through goodwill. Meanwhile, Fiona plans a speakeasy party for Patsy’s Pies in order to drum up more business. Kevin and Veronica argue over what to do with Svetlana’s newly arrived father, Yvon (guest star PASHA LYCHNIKOFF).

Frank’s trafficking business takes a turn for the worse, sending him on the run through the Great White North. Fiona’s homeless tenants have barricaded themselves in her apartment and taken her dog, Rusty. Lip takes in a terrified Sierra and Lucas when her father is released from prison, while Ian, despite warnings of legal ramifications, provides sanctuary to a runaway teen. And while Frank considers his retirement, Debbie must choose between paying for school and paying for surgery to keep her toes.

In the season eight finale, Fiona has to tap deep into her Gallagher roots if she truly wants to get the homeless family out of her apartment and to dismiss their lawsuit. Sleep deprived Lip and Tami (series regular Kate Miner) work to make their new house a home as Carl finishes the police academy. Ian and Mickey question who is the "man" in their relationship. A delighted Carl gets a new Training Officer who loves to kick ass. When Brad (recurring guest star SCOTT MICHAEL CAMPBELL) and Cami learn about their newborn baby's health complications, Lip and Tami step in to help. The Milkoviches move in next door and wreak havoc, leading Frank, Kev and Liam to plot how to get rid of them. Frank and Liam compete in a renaming contest of Dennis Hastert Middle when Dennis Hastert is cancelled. Debbie has a day of zero responsibilities, while Ian and Mickey take on all the responsibility for Terry. Veronica is depressed about her mom (guest star VANESSA BELL CALLOWAY) moving so Kevin tries to cheer her upall while planning a special surprise. Carl is put on Vice Squad which is all fun and games... until it’s not. Lip has a close encounter with the law, which forces Lip and Tami to team up and sends Brad into a spiral.

  

Episode 131 - Season 11, Episode 9: Survivors

Frank wants to pull one last heist with the old gang. Debbie struggles with the idea of change and blames Lip. MeanwhileLip and Brad find out the new owners of BornFree are part of the mob. Mickey and Ian learn a surprising truth about Terry’s past, and Liam tries to find a new place to live. Veronica reluctantly helps her mom move to Louisvillewhile Kevin is forced to watch Gemma and Amy and run the Alibi all on his own. Carl is reunited with an old partner when he's put on the eviction unit.

Lip has a million projects going onand Frank is one of them. Liam is forced to watch Frank, so the two of them embark on a journey to take down Liam’s classmate in an effort to get Liam into STEM school. Carl’s disillusionment with the police force comes to a head. Debbie embraces the next chapter of her life and hunts for a new place. Mickey and Ian toy with the idea of the West Side. Kev meets Veronica in Louisville in a last-ditch effort to convince Carol not to move.

  

Episode 133 - Season 11, Episode 11: The Fickle Lady Is Calling It Quits

Kev and V announce their big news. Lip has some promising leads on the sale of the house, forcing Debbie to reevaluate her future and why she has a bad romance picker. Mickey and Ian try to adjust to life on the West Side. Carl is assigned to a less-than-glamorous police unit. And Liam reminds Frank what makes him Frank.

  

Episode 134 - Season 11, Episode 12: Father Frank, Full of Grace

In the series finale, Frank faces his mortality, while Ian and Mickey shop for furniture for their new place. Andas Kev and V look for a buyer for the Alibi, Lip settles for a new job. Lastly, Carl finds his calling in a new role on the police force and Debbie meets someone, thrusting her into a new, dangerous world.
