Episode 1 - A Documentary

Get a documentary-style look into the personal lives of our country vets. It’s a hectic schedule as Dr. Pol & Dr. Lisa see two dogs at once needing emergency labor. Dr. Brenda tangles with llamas. Baskets of puppies and frisky horses pay a visit to the clinic. See the vets wrangle their own kids, decompress on the lake, and care for their beloved animals.

  

Episode 2 - I've Never Met Herbivore

Dr. Pol welcomes a new vet to the clinic just in time to help the team with a wave of cases. Dr. Pol treats a local K9 deputy’s injured paw, Dr. Nicole examines a service dog after a scuffle, Dr. Lisa stitches up a horse with a large laceration, and Dr. Brenda soothes a cat’s burned limb. On her second day on the job, Dr. Olivia jumps into action and helps Dr. Lisa with a cow in labor.

  

Episode 3 - The Snow Must Go On

A major storm blows into Central Michigan, and as the snow piles up, so do the cases! While clients brave the weather to get care for their animals, Dr. Pol and Charles battle thundersnow when responding to an emergency farm call. Dr. Lisa needs ten stitches to repair a horse’s deep cut, and Dr. Brenda treats a Rottweiler’s very swollen face.

  

Episode 4 - A Ruff Patch

From a muskrat attack to a cat missing an eye, the clinic is full of surprises. Dr. Pol rushes to an Amish farm to help a cow that’s been in labor for 24 hours, and Dr. Nicole treats her dog’s injured leg. Dr. Brenda gives step-by-step care instructions to a family new to raising Scottish Highland cows, and Dr. Lisa does a dental exam on Elvis the donkey. Dr. Nicole shares exciting news!

  

Episode 5 - The Plot Chickens

Spring brings a baby boom of goats, reindeer, and Labrador pups. When a chicken is the victim of fowl play, Dr. Pol’s on the case. Dr. Brenda treats a fair steer to be ready for the ring and Dr. Lisa sutures a horse’s torn eyelid. An older cat’s labor stalled, so Dr. Nicole performs an emergency C-section to save the kittens. Charles and Diane surprise the docs on Vet Appreciation Day.

  

Episode 6 - A Mom Like No Udder

It’s Mother’s Day! Dr. Pol and Dr. Brenda rush to the aid of animals struggling to give birth, while Dr. Lisa treats a cow suffering from a postpartum emergency. Two puppies get poked for their vaccines, and two older dogs come in with quills stuck all over their bodies. As Mother’s Day approaches, Doc and Charles cook up a special treat for Diane and Beth.

  

Episode 7 - “It's Charles, He's Hurt!”

Dr. Brenda and Dr. Pol team up on a challenging farm call. The dire situation turns into an emergency for one of their own. Dr. Lisa diagnoses a cat with an uncommon condition, Dr. Brenda is called out for a rare reindeer birth and Dr. Pol’s strength and ingenuity are tested to help save the life of a new momma cow.

  

Episode 8 - Pups and Downs

A Chihuahua in emergency labor has Dr. Nicole on high alert as she attempts to save the mother and puppies. The clinic reels in a curious case of a cat and a fishhook, while a preemie goat and a spooked trail horse both need care for their ailing eyes. Dr. Pol weighs in on an age-old debate: crunchy or smooth?

  

Episode 9 - At Foal Throttle

Dr. Pol & Diane welcome a new Friesian filly to the family. Dr. Lisa handles two Corgi emergencies, and Dr. Olivia gets help treating two dogs with curious wounds. Doc treats a mini horse with excessive thirst and a chicken with a paralyzed crop. An emotional support rabbit needs a checkup before heading off to college, and clinic staffer, Hilary, brings in one of her own dogs for veterinary care.

  

Episode 10 - Once Upon a Fair

Dr. Pol has helped kids show animals at the county fair for more than 40 years. For some families, it’s a tradition going back generations. Raising fair animals takes months of work, and it all pays off at showtime! At the clinic, Doc helps a limping steer with a swollen leg, Dr. Brenda treats a urinary blockage that threatens a cat’s kidneys, and Dr. Lisa bandages a wounded dog.
