Episode 1 - The Incredible Hulk - Pilot

"The Incredible Hulk" is based on the popular comic book tale of the metamorphosis of a scientist who achieves mysterious superhuman strength when he is angered. Bill Bixby portrays scientist David Banner, who, while doing research on the incredible feats of strength accomplished by some individuals during moments of stress, is exposed to a massive dose of gamma rays. He feels no ill effects, but the first time he loses his temper afterwards, he is transformed into a bizarre man-beast nearly seven-feet tall with enormous strength. When his anger subsides, he returns to his original appearance. With the aid of a fellow researcher, Banner tries to reverse the process which has upset his chemical makeup. Their efforts are thwarted by a nosy reporter specializing in sensationalism, with tragic results.

The Rocky-like contender has his heart set on a championship but it takes the Hulk to show him that he is not a contender.

Haunted by the fear he may have killed a beautiful young model during his transformation as the Hulk, Banner returns to the scene of the crime and gets a job as a playboy’s valet. The job almost ends up with Banner a prisoner in a car headed for a trash compactor.

Young Cruz guest stars as Kevin, who plays the only passenger on the plane with any knowledge of flying. He and the Hulk have to try and bring the jetliner to a safe landing after the plane's crew is disabled.

  

Episode 8 - Season 1, Episode 8: 747

Bill Bixby is reunited with his former co-star, Brandon Cruz, in the story of a jetliner in trouble. The young Cruz guest stars as Kevin, who plays the only passenger on the plane with any knowledge of flying. He and the Hulk have to try and bring the jetliner to a safe landing after the plane's crew is disabled.

  

Episode 9 - Hulk Breaks Las Vegas

While working in a Las Vegas casino, David Banner aids an investigative reporter working on a gambling scandal and is put in the position of also helping his nemesis, McGee. When the reporter is injured in a murder attempt, he asks Banner to pass his information on to his friend McGee. Banner manages to avoid facing McGee, but, as the Hulk, ends up saving his life.

After David Banner does a favor for an attractive girl, he finds himself in the middle of a vendetta she is waging to get her father's tanker truck back from high-jackers. When he and the girl are trapped by the high-jackers, Banner's wrath transforms him into the Hulk for a confrontation with the huge diesel.

  

Episode 10 - Never Give a Trucker an Even Break

A highway duel between a girl truck driver and a pair of high-jackers pits the Hulk against a huge tanker rig. After David Banner does a favor for an attractive girl, he finds himself in the middle of a vendetta she is waging to get her father's tanker truck back from high-jackers. When he and the girl are trapped by the high-jackers, Banner's wrath transforms him into the Hulk for a confrontation with the huge diesel.

  

Episode 11 - Life and Death

David Banner offers himself for experimentation to a doctor working with DNA research in the hopes that he will be cured of his Hulk affliction. Instead, he has to resort to the Hulk to save his and a new mother's life. When Banner meets a defensive and very pregnant young woman on way to the hospital for his volunteer research, he little suspects that both their lives will soon depend on his ability to protect them through the tremendous strength of the Hulk.

  

Episode 11 - Season 1, Episode 11: Life and Death

The fast pace of automobile racing, and a demolition derby, set the tone when David Bruce Banner befriends a retarded young man and has to resort to the super strength of the Hulk to save the youth from a fiery death. While working at the race track in New Mexico, Banner's professional instincts are aroused by the plight of a race driver's brother, a grown man with limited mentality. His attempts to help him are met with resistance until the Hulk surfaces to save the brother after he is goaded into driving a defective car in the demolition derby.

  

Episode 14 - Season 1, Episode 14: Ricky

While working at the race track in New Mexico, Banner's professional instincts are aroused by the plight of a race driver's brother, a man with developmental disabilities. His attempts to help him are met with resistance until the Hulk surfaces to save the brother after he is goaded into driving a defective car in the demolition derby.

  

Episode 15 - A Child In Need

Taking a brief respite from his search to find a cure for his strange disease, David Banner finds refuge as a school gardener. David wins the confidence of a 1O-year-old student who seems to be highly accident prone. Episode 16 - Season 2, Episode 1: Married, Pt. 1

In the special two-part season premiere, David Banner finds romance and marriage with a lovely psychiatrist (guest star Mariette Hartley) who tries to cure the affliction which turns him into the Hulk whenever he gets agitated, while Banner tries to help her with her own burden. Continuing his search for relief from his malady, Banner journeys to Hawaii to enlist the expertise of Dr. Fields, who has developed new uses for hypnosis in therapy. His arrival at the institute in which she works coincides with her departure for a leave of absence. Following her to her home, Banner discovers her in the midst of a seizure caused by her own affliction.

  

Episode 17 - Season 2, Episode 2: Married, Pt. 2

In saving the life of a beautiful psychiatrist (guest star Mariette Hartley) involved in hypnosis therapy, David Banner is able to enlist her aid in trying to save his. As their mutual dependence grows amid the splendors of the Hawaiian coastline, romance and love blossom. They marry, each knowing their life together is fraught with perils and certain heartbreak. When the island is swept by a typhoon at a crucial moment in the new couple's lives, their destiny rushes to a conclusion which neither of them can control, in part two of the season premiere.

  

Episode 18 - Season 2, Episode 3: The Antowuk Horror

After David Banner's presence in their town results in a brief glimpse of the Hulk, some of the townspeople realize that the creature is what the town needs to put it back on the map. Ignoring the obvious dangers from trophy-hunting tourists, an ersatz Hulk is sent to stalk the surrounding hills.

  

Episode 19 - Season 2, Episode 4: Rainbow's End

David Banner searches out a trainer who has achieved remarkable success with a vitamin formula in calming a troublesome racehorse in the hope that the medicine might be effective in quieting the Hulk within him. Employed at the racetrack, Banner soon has to put his quest secondary to his job of protecting the horse from an embittered employee. Guest stars Craig Stevens, Gene Evans, Michelle Nichols and Ned Romero.

  

Episode 20 - Season 2, Episode 5: Another Path

A chance encounter with a Chinese philosopher puts David Banner on a different path while trying to overcome his affliction. Banner recognizes that his new friend's lessons are based on controlling the automatic nervous system and hopes he can learn to control the Hulk. Instead, the Hulk helps save the wise man and preserve his beneficial influence on his San Francisco community. Mako guest stars.

  

Episode 21 - Season 2, Episode 6: Alice in Disco Land

While working in a disco, David Banner is drawn to an obviously troubled dancer. It soon is apparent that she was once a child with special meaning to him and is now being exploited by the unscrupulous owner of the dance palace. It takes the Hulk to free her from the owner, but Banner's compassion to help her overcome her own problem.

  

Episode 22 - Season 2, Episode 7: Killer Instinct

Looking for help for himself, David Banner signs on as an assistant trainer with a professional football team because its physician is studying aggressive behavior patterns. Instead of getting aid, Banner has to resort to the Hulk to restrain a troubled player's need for winning at any cost.

  

Episode 23 - Season 2, Episode 8: Stop the Presses

While working in a restaurant that is the subject of a fraudulent expose by the National Observer, David Banner is included in a photograph taken in the establishment. Fearing exposure, he breaks into the publication's headquarters, giving McGee a face-to-face meeting with the Hulk.

  

Episode 24 - Season 2, Episode 9: Escape from Los Santos

While hitchhiking on his way to Phoenix, David Banner is given a lift by a policeman. He finds the ride is right to the police station and a cell alongside a lovely woman (guest star Shelley Fabares) being railroaded for the murder of her crime-fighting husband. It takes the Hulk to get them out of jail so they can get to the proper authorities and prove their innocence.

  

Episode 25 - Season 2, Episode 10: Wildfire

David Banner is working as a roustabout on a wild-cat oil rig when sabotage sets the new well ablaze. While engaged in a strategic task to put the burning well out, Banner is attacked by the saboteur. His consequential metamorphosis into the Hulk saves the well and the owner's life. Christine Belford, John Anderson and Billy Green Bush guest star.

  

Episode 26 - Season 2, Episode 11: A Solitary Place

Seeking respite from the tension which often triggers him into becoming the Hulk, David Banner isolates himself in a remote area, but his tranquil existence is interrupted by the arrival of an attractive woman fugitive who insists on joining his camping place. As their early suspicions of each other turn to mutual respect, their lives are torn apart by the arrival of Jack McGee, on the trail of the two of them.

  

Episode 27 - Season 2, Episode 12: Like a Brother

While working in a car wash, David Banner befriends a co-worker and is drawn into the battle between him, his ill brother, a crusading preacher and a dope supplier, conflict it takes the Hulk to resolve.

  

Episode 28 - Season 2, Episode 13: Haunted

After answering an ad for a driver/rider, David Banner helps a young woman move to a new city and stays on to help her get settled in the house she left many years ago after the drowning of her twin sister. It takes the Hulk to unravel the bizarre plot that has the remaining sister scheduled for the same fate. Carol Baxter guest stars.

  

Episode 29 - Season 2, Episode 14: Mystery Man, Pt. 1

In the first half of a two-part episode, intrepid headline hunter Jack McGee, and David Banner, suffering from amnesia from an earlier accident, are the only survivors from a plane crash in a remote area. Banner attempts to save himself and carry the injured McGee to civilization as nature's forces fight against him.

  

Episode 30 - Season 2, Episode 15: Mystery Man, Pt. 2

In the concluding half of a two-part episode, David Banner tries reaching civilization with the injured McGee when a forest fire engulfs them. Banner is forced into his Hulk metamorphosis to save their lives which reveals to McGee a new insight on his quarry.

  

Episode 31 - Season 2, Episode 16: The Disciple

Still hoping for control of the Hulk that is within him, David Banner again pursues the tranquility which Li Sung advocates and is a very concerned participant when the elderly gentleman hands over the leadership of his cult to a police officer recovering from a police action which had shaken his faith. Rick Springfield, Gerald McRaney and Mako guest star.

  

Episode 32 - Season 2, Episode 17: No Escape

David Banner is picked up for vagrancy and placed in a police van with a man who envisions himself as an avenging freedom fighter betrayed by his wife and doctor. Banner turns into the Hulk and destroys the van. The man escapes and Banner has to track him down and see that he is back in custody. James Wainwright, Mari-Clare Costello and Sherman Hemsley guest star.

  

Episode 33 - Season 2, Episode 18: Kindred Spirits

After a scientific experiment exposes artifacts which point to a prehistoric Hulk-like creature, David Banner grasps onto the slim chance that further exploration may uncover clues to his own Hulk. Rebellious Native Americans, on whose land the digging is taking place, a woman from Banner's past, and the indomitable McGee add to the perils of the search. Kim Catrall guest stars.

  

Episode 34 - Season 2, Episode 19: The Confession

Jack McGee is incensed at having another reporter hanging on his coattails even though it is an attractive woman. They trail the Hulk to a medical center where he was last seen and where a lonely young man works who confesses to being the Hulk. Markie Post, Barry Gordon and Richard Herd guest star.

  

Episode 35 - Season 2, Episode 20: The Quiet Room

While working in a sanitarium, David Banner is at first impressed at the success a doctor is having with his patients, then alarmed as he realizes the doctor's technique is through mind control. When Banner reports his discovery, the doctor puts him in restraint waiting for the next available operating room. Joanna Miles and Philip Abbott guest star.

  

Episode 36 - Season 2, Episode 21: Vendetta Road

David Banner helps end the hostilities between a young couple seeking revenge and the company which the husband thinks is responsible for his father's death. Banner is rescued by the young couple just before they blow up a gas station in which he has taken refuge. He then has to convince them that their hope for life and justice lies with legal procedures rather than the rash vendetta they are waging against an oil company.

  

Episode 37 - Season 2, Episode 22: Blind Rage

While searching for the cause of a friend's strange illness, David Banner is exposed to the same contaminate that felled his friend. A cure seems impossible when the station's authorities try to cover up the incident.

  

Episode 38 - Season 2, Episode 23: The Slam

David Banner is arrested for vagrancy and sent to a work camp where his fellow prisoners accuse him of being an informer. Banner's initial acceptance turns to animosity after he is unable to help them present their grievances to the press due to McGee's presence. It takes the Hulk to overcome the stigma of Banner's apparent defection to the side of the corrupt prison officials and to bring the conditions at the camp to the attention of the public. Charles Napier, Julius Harris, Marc Alaimo and Robert Davi guest star.

  

Episode 39 - Season 3, Episode 1: Metamorphosis

Dr. David Banner is hired to help operate the sound equipment for a New Wave rock star (Mackenzie Phillips) and her band. When one of the singer's fans is seriously injured during the riot one of her performances incites, the guilt-laden star attempts suicide on stage, which Banner has to revert to the Hulk to prevent.

  

Episode 40 - Season 3, Episode 2: Brain Child

Dr. David Banner meets up with a runaway from school, whose brilliant education has not compensated for her need for a mother. Banner has the law chasing him as he and the girl race to find the mother before the authorities catch them.

  

Episode 41 - Season 3, Episode 3: My Favorite Magician

After an aging magician drafts him as his assistant for a benefit performance, David Banner discovers there are secrets as well as tricks up the performer's sleeve, which almost cost both of them their lives.

  

Episode 42 - Season 3, Episode 4: Jake

While working with a rodeo, David Banner discovers that one of the cowboys is performing with an illness which could cost him his life, and his brother is at the mercy of a group of cattle thieves. Banner almost loses his own life at the rustler's hands before the Hulk emerges to save the situation.

  

Episode 43 - Season 3, Episode 5: Behind the Wheel

Esther Rolle guest stars as the troubled owner of an endangered taxicab company who hires David Banner as a driver in the hope that he can help her fight a dope-smuggling operation. When the Hulk emerges and McGee gets on the trail, Banner has to do some fancy driving to help the owner and keep his identity a secret.

  

Episode 44 - Season 3, Episode 6: Homecoming

David Banner doesn't intend to contact his family, but runs into his sister and learns that his father is about to lose his land. Banner uses his skill as a biologist to develop a weapon to be used against the plague which is destroying the crops, but it takes the Hulk to make the cure effective.

  

Episode 45 - Season 3, Episode 7: The Snare

While waiting at an airport for a flight to Florida, David Banner accepts a ride from a man who offers to take him in his private plane. Unknown to David, his new friend, Michael Sutton (Bradford Dillman), has other ideas as he straddles the thin line of impending psychosis. Sutton instead flies them to a nearby uninhabited island where he tells David they are going to go hunting -- but the subject of the hunt is David Banner. Given just a few hours head start to hide in the island wilderness, David must be careful to avoid the different snares and traps that Sutton has set in an effort to kill him. In his often frustrating struggle for survival, David transforms into the Incredible Hulk (Lou Ferrigno) and manages to overcome the obstacle. However, once Sutton has seen the Hulk he wants the creature as his trophy and they meet in a final, harrowing confrontation.

  

Episode 46 - Season 3, Episode 8: Babalao

While helping a doctor gain a foothold in her community in an archaic section of New Orleans, David Banner is targeted for elimination by the rival voodoo healer. It takes the Hulk to reveal the truth of the healer's false claims.

  

Episode 47 - Season 3, Episode 9: Captive Night

David Banner is under suspicion at the department store in which he is working because of inventory discrepancies. The suspicions seem to be confirmed after the store is invaded by thieves while he is working overtime and he has to throw in with the would-be-robbers to protect two coworkers who are being held as hostages.

Mistaken for a look-alike hoodlum, David Banner has trouble evading a vengeful gang, the police and Jack McGee. Banner is set up by the man he resembles as a decoy so he can make a clean getaway. But the gangster has reckoned without the Hulk.

  

Episode 49 - Season 3, Episode 11: Proof Positive

As his paper tries to upgrade its image, McGee is ordered to abandon his stories on the Hulk. When the Hulk is again sighted, McGee quits his job to return to the trail and prove that the Hulk does exist.

  

Episode 50 - Season 3, Episode 12: Sideshow

David Banner is hired by an itinerant carnival act as a stage manager, but finds his true role is that of bodyguard for the all-girl cast, which has been ostracized because of a series of catastrophes following in its wake. A pretty mind reader, and the man who trails her, are the keys to the jinx reputation.

  

Episode 51 - Season 3, Episode 13: Long Run Home

David Banner experiences the ostracism and antagonism of being identified with a minority subculture after he is befriended by a motorcycle gang member. It takes the Hulk to free Banner and his new friend from the stigma of the gang identification and also from the law.

  

Episode 52 - Season 3, Episode 14: Falling Angels

While working with orphans, David Banner discovers that two of his favorite charges are under the influence of a Fagin-type thief. His efforts to free the youngsters are hampered by the appearance of McGee on the trail of the Hulk.

  

Episode 53 - Season 3, Episode 15: The Lottery

David Banner is the lucky winner of a lottery, but the Hulk destroys his winnings and the chance for a cure. Unable to collect his lottery winnings, David sends a friend who immediately sets up a scam without David's knowledge to make a bigger profit. When David stumbles into the midst of a scheme, a fake shooting changes him into the Hulk and, in trying to save his friend's life, allows all of the money to be lost.

  

Episode 54 - Season 3, Episode 16: The Psychic

A chance meeting with David Banner triggers Annie Caplan's vision of him as the Hulk, who is being sought as a murder suspect. After she meets with McGee, she is able through her psychic powers to foresee his own murder at the hands of the real killer and to send Banner to save him.

  

Episode 55 - Season 3, Episode 17: A Rock and a Hard Place

Taking a job as handyman for a little old lady puts David Banner in with a gang planning a big robbery. An avenging police officer catches David with one of the gang's contraband shipments and insists he keep him informed of the gang's activities. With both sides aware of his identity, Banner has to cooperate with each.

  

Episode 56 - Season 3, Episode 18: Deathmask

A series of young girls' deaths is attributed to David Banner after the Hulk saves one of the girls and she calls David's name in her delirium. His arrest goads the citizens of the town into vigilante action and Banner is left to their mercy by a cop who has his own reasons for needing a victim for the mob's justice.

  

Episode 57 - Season 3, Episode 19: Equinox

While working on the island estate of a strong-willed heiress, David Banner is forced to join a party where McGee is looking for him. During the evening an attempt on the life of the selfish woman is thwarted by the Hulk, which gives McGee the opportunity to try and capture his prey with the aid of a tranquilizing dart gun.

  

Episode 58 - Season 3, Episode 20: Nine Hours

While working in a hospital, David Banner has to race against time to save the lives of a young boy and that of a reformed crime figure. A patient in the hospital, waiting to turn his evidence of gang activities over to the government, is slated for murder. The hitmen get the cooperation of Banner by kidnapping a child he has befriended but are unaware that the Hulk and a former police officer will be working against them.

  

Episode 59 - Season 3, Episode 21: On the Line

David Banner is saved from a forest fire and then drafted to help put out the fire. With McGee on the scene and under suspicion of starting the fire, it takes the Hulk to save his alter ego after he is trapped on the fireline with a female firefighter who is also trying to overcome the prejudice and superstition of the other fighters.

  

Episode 60 - Season 3, Episode 22: Prometheus, Pt. 1

Laurie Prange and Roger Robinson guest-star in the first segment, in which David Banner is trapped in his metamorphosis to the Hulk while helping a newly blind young woman learn to cope with her life in a mountain wilderness. A large meteor, crashing into earth near them, exposes Banner to intense radiation which effects this transition to the Hulk and traps him half-way between his true self and that of the creature. A tracking team of government scientists discovers him in the vicinity of the meteor and take him and the girl to a research facility to study him as a possible extraterrestrial being which traveled on the meteor from outer space. Part 1 of 2.

  

Episode 61 - Season 3, Episode 23: Prometheus, Pt. 2

The Hulk is an unwitting subject for scientific study in the conclusion of this two-part episode in which David Banner has been suspended in the body of the creature. Laurie Prange, Monte Markham, Carol Baxter, Whit Bissell and Arthur Rosenberg guest-star. After having been taken to a secret research facility for study by government scientists who believe he is an extraterrestrial being, the Hulk's tremendous power enables him to penetrate the sophisticated cell in which he is held. But, it takes more than brute strength to escape from the underground labyrinth in which he has been imprisoned.

  

Episode 62 - Season 3, Episode 24: Goodbye, Eddie Caine

A veteran private eye, Eddie Caine, is called to the estate where David Banner is working as a gardener to investigate an extortion attempt on its owner. Banner is the most likely suspect, but eventually is able to prove his innocence and joins forces with Caine to find the real culprit. Their partnership almost proves deadly until the Hulk saves the partners from extinction.

  

Episode 63 - Season 4, Episode 1: Free Fall

David Banner is a member of an aerial exhibition team when it hits the home town of one of its members for a show. Old antagonisms are rekindled which erupt into open warfare when a corrupt politician sabotages the team's plane during the exhibition.

  

Episode 64 - Season 4, Episode 2: Dark Side

David Banner's experiments on himself backfire when they send him into a primitive state rather than give him the escape he seeks from the Creature. As the darkside of his mind is triggered by his primitive impulses, Banner menaces the young daughter of the family with whom he is boarding. It takes a full metamorphosis to the Hulk to bring Banner back to reality.

  

Episode 65 - Season 4, Episode 3: Deep Shock

While rescuing a fellow worker in a power plant, David Banner is subjected to massive electrical trauma which enables him to foresee events in the immediate future. A fellow worker with a heart condition has an attack while positioning a high-voltage component. David tries in vain to help him but instead gets the full impact of a severed pole cable. His Hulk transformation allows him to survive, but with an ability to foresee the actions of the plant, and to rescue his friend when he desperately tries to prove to the other workers that he has not sold them out for his own gain.

  

Episode 66 - Season 4, Episode 4: Bring Me the Head of the Hulk

With a million dollar reward offered by a magazine for the Hulk's head, a mercenary adventurer lures David Banner to an isolated laboratory especially designed to attract him and to trap the Hulk. McGee, aware of the rival publisher's cold-blooded plans, plays his own hand to save the life of his legendary adversary.

  

Episode 67 - Season 4, Episode 5: Fast Lane

David Banner unknowingly gets a car to drive across the country which has been used to hide a mob's loot. The mob, and a pair of unscrupulous mechanics, separately trail him to get the money for themselves by any means necessary. It takes the Hulk to dispose of the pursuers, one by one.

  

Episode 68 - Season 4, Episode 6: King of the Beach

Lou Ferrigno, who stars as the Hulk, also guest stars as Carl Molino, a struggling worker in a beach-side restaurant who dreams of saving enough money to open a cafe of his own. His ambition is given impetus by a conniving young woman who talks him into going after the prize money in a competition to determine the best male physique, with her as his manager. Molino doesn't realize he will be running against a well-organized group of unscrupulous characters who want their own entry to win. But Molino has David Banner and the Hulk on his side.

  

Episode 69 - Season 4, Episode 7: Wax Museum

The Hulk fits right in with the bizarre exhibits of a wax museum as David Banner works as an assistant to the establishment's owner and sculptor. David is hired to help a young woman still suffering the trauma of seeing her father killed in a fire which left the museum to her and which is now being run by her uncle. After Banner becomes suspicious of the treatment the girl is getting from the uncle, he is fired, but not before McGee arrives on the scene to make matters more complicated for Banner, and subsequently, the Hulk.

  

Episode 70 - Season 4, Episode 8: East Winds

David Banner is unknowingly living with a fortune in gold hidden in his apartment which a gang is after. To get to the gold, the gang ''treats'' Banner to a Chinese bride and a lethal fish dinner. The gang gets a large dose of the Hulk in return.

  

Episode 71 - Season 4, Episode 9: The First, Pt. 1

David Banner searches for a cure to his own malady by investigating a legend of another Hulk-like metamorphosis of a scientist believed dead for thirty years, in the first of a two-part episode. While researching the other scientist's papers, Banner finds that he had indeed found relief from the condition which sent him into a creature-like state. But, the older creature is still alive and doesn't want the antidote to be rediscovered.

  

Episode 72 - Season 4, Episode 10: The First, Pt. 2

Good fights evil as the Hulk battles the creature that holds the secret to the antidote David Banner needs to give him relief from his torment, on the conclusion of a two-part episode. The creature which predates his own Hulk is a dangerous and murderous being, and Banner jeopardizes the chances for his own cure in order to rid the world of the creature so unlike the peace-loving Hulk.

  

Episode 73 - Season 4, Episode 11: The Harder They Fall

David Banner is confined to a wheelchair after an auto accident and is a helpless bystander while a fellow paraplegic attempts to rob a bank. The Hulk not only is able to prevent the robbery, but to put Banner back on his feet. Actor Denny Miller guest stars as Paul.

  

Episode 74 - Season 4, Episode 12: Interview with the Hulk

A sighting of the Hulk alerts the National Register, but the message is intercepted by a former scientific reporter trying for a newspaper comeback after a personal tragedy. He passes himself off as Jack McGee and recognizes Banner as the supposedly deceased scientist. Jan Sterling and Michael Conrad guest star.

  

Episode 75 - Season 4, Episode 13: Half Nelson

David Banner thinks he is rescuing a child harassed by some toughs and is robbed of his wallet as a result. The child turns out to be a dwarf wrestler who takes the penniless Banner in with the promise of using his influence to help him get a job. Instead, his fantasies compel him to tell his friends that Banner ripped off the mob. And the mob wants revenge.

  

Episode 76 - Season 4, Episode 14: Danny

David Banner helps a young man who lives with his thieving brother and former sister-in-law and her baby in a trailer camp. When the mother and her baby try to escape the abusive treatment she has been receiving from her in-laws, Banner is accused of aiding her by the outlaws and of stealing by the local farmers.

  

Episode 77 - Season 4, Episode 15: Patterns

To borrow more money so his daughter can stage a fashion show, the owner of the factory in which David works says that David Banner is his new partner, without telling David. When the loan sharks don't receive their payment on time, they go after the unsuspecting David and meet the Hulk.

  

Episode 78 - Season 4, Episode 16: The Phenom

On the road to a job in Miami, David Banner is given a ride by a naïve young pitcher going to try out for his first professional baseball team. Banner stays with him for the tryouts and with the help of a drunken sports writer saves him from being used by an unscrupulous agent. But it takes the Hulk to void a crooked contract with the agent and his hoods.

  

Episode 79 - Season 4, Episode 17: Two Godmothers

While delivering laundry to a prison, David Banner is forced to help three women escape in his truck. The truck breaks down and the trio force David to hike with them over the mountain, but their trek is interrupted when the expectant mother goes into labor. When the authorities arrive on the scene, they take into custody a mother, two godmothers and new-born twins.

  

Episode 80 - Season 4, Episode 18: Veteran

David Banner helps a discharged veteran and learns he is about to kill a local politician for atrocities he was responsible for as a Marine officer. Banner puts his own well-being on the line by warning the intended victim, who suspects Banner of being in on the plot, so Banner then has to further expose himself by going to the police.

  

Episode 81 - Season 4, Episode 19: Sanctuary

A young man is shot while escaping from smugglers and makes it to a nearby mission, where he is taken in by the sisters. They protect him from the pursuing gang with David Banner, who is working at the mission, masquerading as a visiting priest. The Hulk also helps when it appears that he is a miracle sent to save the boy and the oppressed townspeople.

  

Episode 82 - Season 4, Episode 20: Triangle

While working at a lumber camp, David Banner's romance with a local girl arouses the wrath of his powerful employer. Banner is run out of town, but he returns to find his girl being held prisoner by the lumberman. He and the Hulk manage to release her and find the situation not what it appears to be.

  

Episode 83 - Season 4, Episode 21: Slaves

While hitchhiking in the desert, David Banner is given a ride by a gold-hungry ex-convict who keeps him prisoner in a ghost town and forces him to work in his mine alongside two other ''slaves''. The trio plot their escape but are trapped in the mine by an explosion and the Hulk has to save their lives.

  

Episode 84 - Season 4, Episode 22: A Minor Problem

After traveling to a strange town for a job interview at a chemical plant, David Banner finds the plant empty and the town deserted. He eventually encounters a young woman scientist, a group of looters and a dying puppy. The woman tells him of the powerful bacterial contamination and they race against time to the plant for an antidote and evidence of the plant's illegal experiments.
