Julia, Kady, Penny and Quentin set out to find another spawn of Reynard as Kady struggles to reveal to Julia the consequences of her recent procedure. Quentin reluctantly enlists the help of Alice’s Niffin to save the Brakebills gang by creating a word as bond spell with her…but quickly regrets it once realizing its true motives. With a war waging between Fillory and Loria and an unconscious High King Eliot, Julia takes matters into her own hands which puts Fillory, and Margo, in a difficult situation.

Episode 22 - Season 2, Episode 9: Lesser Evils

Dean Fogg and Professor Lipson attempt to rid Quentin of Alice’s Niffin but he refuses to let Alice go. Meanwhile, with magic fading in Fillory, Eliot agrees to a risky duel with King Idri of Loria, in lieu of a war, in the hopes that it will gain the respect of the Fillorians in the process. Julia, Penny and Kady locate Reynard’s son in an effort to lure Reynard to them. In the process, Julia uses Quentin in a way that shocks everyone involved, including herself.

The Royal Court of Fillory prepares for Eliot’s nuptials as he endeavors to win over the Fillorians with the extravagant event. Penny begins his contractual obligations to the Neitherlands Library as Kady searches for any information about god killing. Quentin experiences a mind-bending vision while on a drug-laced trip that sends him and Julia on a mysterious quest.

Eliot and Margo discover that a strange spell has been cast over Fillory, turning many of its inhabitants into rats. With the help of Reynard, Senator Gaines begins to realize his birthright.

After Julia makes a surprising sacrifice for Quentin, he uses this opportunity to Alice’s benefit….or so he thought. Eliot attempts to find his way back to Fillory to save his kingdom while Penny and Sylvia try to find a way into the Poison Room to retrieve god killing literature. With the loss of her shade, Julia seeks Kady’s guidance as her conscience while they attempt to harness Senator Gaines’s power to destroy Reynard. Margo ventures to Fairyland to rescue Fen.

Dean Fogg and Professor Lipson are in a race against time to find a cure for Penny’s sickness from his journey to the Poison Room while Quentin and Julia, adjusting to her recently recovered shade, embark on a quest to find Umber for help in devising a strategy to convince Ember to let them keep Fillory. Eliot hopes to lure Ember to Fillory in an attempt to reclaim his throne and save the kingdom. Alice tries to make sense of mortal life after being a Niffin while Kady thinks of a plan that just might save Penny’s life.

Episode 40 - Season 4, Episode 1: A Flock of Lost Birds

In last Season’s finale, magic was once again flowing thanks to the heroics of the team. Dean Fogg got to reopen Brakebills, though now on a magic ration from the Head Librarian. And that Librarian has trapped Alice for breaking their deal. The rest of the group is back on Earth with no memory of their past magical selves. Alice keeps warning Fogg that the monster from the castle will escape by jumping bodies – and even the gods are afraid of that. And, in fact, the power has overtaken Eliot.

Episode 41 - Season 4, Episode 2: Lost, Found, ....ed

Marina and Penny/DJ Hansel surprise Fogg in his house. Marina puts him under the spell that he has put the heroes under, and tells him he has a day to find an antidote so she can give it to the others. In Fillory, Margo/Janet finds Fen and some minions. They explain that the Kingdom is overrun by opium and they are searching for Ember. Margo/Janet agrees to help them just because she wants to get out of there.

Episode 42 - Season 4, Episode 3: The Bad News Bear

Evil Eliot is going for his super revenge, hunting the gods who locked him up and also those who tried to kill him. Which, unfortunately, is our group of heroes. Now that Quentin has brought him to the gang, Evil Eliot (EE?) starts explaining his murder plan, Bond-Villain-Style. Margo interrupts and offers him Bacchus, who she had found masquerading as Ember back in Fillory. That appeases EE, for now.

Episode 43 - Season 4, Episode 4: Marry... Kill

Evil Eliot got his revenge on Bacchus, yet he’s not satisfied. Margo asks him to leave Eliot’s body, but he’s not going anywhere. Josh is fighting some very scary and intense lupine urges. He needs to pass along the virus with sex, rape or murder. Margo helps him on his quest to find out how he can avoid spreading the world’s worst ultimate STD. It turns out he has to have sex to pass along the werewolf sickness... so Margo takes one for the team.

Episode 44 - Season 4, Episode 5: Escape from the Happy Place

Eliot is living through an amazing loop of mellow fun back on campus at Brakebills. But that persistent knocking at the door reveals that someone is trying to get in. That someone turns out to be Charlton, the man that The Monster had possessed before he was inside of Eliot. He tells Eliot that he can communicate with his friends if he can find a door in his own worst memories. He tasks Eliot with figuring: what does he not want to think about? He needs to find it in order to find the door.

Episode 45 - Season 4, Episode 6: A Timeline and Place

Back in the best apartment ever, Quentin and Julia are talking about what to do with Evil Eliot. Now that they definitively know that the real Eliot is in there somewhere, Quentin wants to help out Evil Eliot in order to build him a new body and to save his friend. They agree to help the monster while they figure out what to do next.

Episode 46 - Season 4, Episode 7: The Side Effect

Penny is in the underworld, serving out his seemingly infinite employment with The Library. He brings in an employee named Derek and challenges his way of thinking, making him question who is at the center of each story.

Episode 47 - Season 4, Episode 8: Home Improvement

Jumping right in, Fen is on her solo quest trekking to find the mysterious hooded woman from her dreams. But she’s not quite solo, Margo is following close behind. Zelda the librarian asks Alice for help. She needs her Niffin experience to learn about the mirror world and help Harriet find her way out – if she is still alive in there. In return, she’ll help Alice find her new Modesto pal, Sheila, and also bury their books so The Library won’t track them down later.

Episode 48 - Season 4, Episode 9: The Serpent

A terrorist group calling themselves “Serpent” is kidnapping hedge witches, and implanting worms in their ears that hurt – or kill – them if they attempt to do magic. Pete shows Kady – it appears to be hedges turning on other hedges.

Episode 49 - Season 4, Episode 10: All That Hard, Glossy Armor

Jumping right in – Penny shares with Julia and Quentin what he realized while he was mind-melded with Evil Eliot. The True Eliot told him what's really going on. That Evil Eliot wants the stones to rebuild his sister's body – he just doesn't know it yet. Enyalius is the key as he has the last stone.

Episode 50 - Season 4, Episode 11: The 4-1-1

Margo arrives in the Best Apartment Ever and fills the gang in on what went down in the desert. She’s got the Ice Axes that just might work to expel the demons from Evil Eliot. Except for the fact that he’s possessed by a creature with god-like powers. Alice suggests an incorporate bond to hold the demon in place. Mayakovsky knows how to cast one, so Alice asks Dean Fogg for insights. Turns out Mayakovsky is back at Brakebills South and may be able to shed some light on the spellcasting.

Episode 51 - Season 4, Episode 12: The Secret Sea

Julia comes to in the forest. Evil Eliot is there and he’s about to kill the woman he kidnapped from the bar so he can move his sister into Julia’s body. Julia calls for Our Lady Underground and she appears, freezing time. She says she can’t fix things – Julia needs to decide if she is a human or a god. Then Lady Underground can no longer hold time, and the evil spirit enters Julia’s body. She immediately kills Our Lady Underground.

Episode 52 - Season 4, Episode 13: No Better to Be Safe Than Sorry

Quentin’s discipline is Minor Mending, and somehow Alice and Quentin are rekindling their love. Eliot is still possessed, and now Julia is, too. Josh is a fish and Margo is tending to him. Kady is sick and suffering in the Best Apartment Ever. Penny is ready to help the crew defeat Evil Eliot and Evil Julia. Evil Librarian Everett is trying to become a god. And Quentin and Alice just powered up with magic from the Fillory reservoir that Fen found.

Episode 53 - Season 5, Episode 1: Do Something Crazy

Penny and Julia go stargazing. Eliot and Margo forget a sandwich.

Episode 54 - Season 5, Episode 2: The Wrath of the Time Bees

Alice didn't buy enough tacos. Fen's got 3 bars.
