Episode 1 - We’re a Couple Now, Haters!It is the beginning of "firsts" for Mindy and Danny, as they try to set new relationship boundaries for each other in the office. Meanwhile, things get a little complicated when Jeremy tries to organize a charity event with Peter’s girlfriend, Lauren (guest star Tracey Wigfield); and Morgan’s cousin, Lou Tookers (guest star Rob McElhenney), pays a visit to the doctor’s office.

Episode 2 - Annette Castellano Is My NemesisIt’s Mindy’s time to shine when Danny’s mom (guest star Rhea Perlman) comes to the city and Mindy is determined to win her approval. Meanwhile, Morgan tries to stand up for himself in his relationship with Tamra (Xosha Roquemore).

Episode 3 - Crimes & Misdemeanors & Ex-BFsMindy comes face-to-face with tax troubles and devises a plan to “rekindle” a fake relationship with Cliff (guest star Glen Howerton), in order to save the practice from her fraudulent past. Meanwhile, Peter and Jeremy secretly try to outdo each other and win Lauren’s (guest star Tracey Wigfield) love.

Episode 4 - I SlippedMindy and Danny dive into uncharted waters in their relationship, which leaves Mindy believing she must pull out all the stops to impress her man. Meanwhile, Morgan tries to trick Jeremy and Peter into reconciling their feud.

Episode 5 - The Devil Wears LandsMindy gets herself and Danny into trouble when she tries to fix the practice’s image in the eyes of the hospital’s new head of obstetrics. Meanwhile, Peter puts his grudge against Jeremy aside when he discovers that his colleague’s beer pong skills could help him beat TV creator Shonda Rhimes (guest-starring as herself), the reigning Dartmouth Alumni Match champion.

Episode 6 - Caramel Princess TimeDanny decides it’s time to take Mindy’s chronic tardiness into his own hands and teach her a lesson about being on time. Meanwhile, Tamra and Morgan set up Peter on a blind date with their novel-writing friend.

Episode 7 - We Need to Talk About AnnetteMindy has no qualms about “borrowing” things that don’t belong to her, until she catches Danny’s mom (guest star Rhea Pearlman) shoplifting. Meanwhile, Peter’s “dream girl,” Abby (guest star Allison Tolman), turns out to be a bit of a nightmare.

Episode 8 - Diary of a Mad Indian WomanMindy is forced to act as a mentor to the residents at the hospital, and Danny gets himself into trouble when he finds, and can’t help but read, Mindy’s diary.

Episode 9 - How to Lose a Mom in Ten DaysMindy sets up Danny’s mom, Annette, (guest star Rhea Pearlman) on a blind date that leads to a crazy sequence of events culminating in a date – and possibly even true love.

Episode 10 - What About Peter?Mindy is so determined to help Peter with his living situation that her own relationship with Danny gets a little complicated. Meanwhile, things go haywire for Jeremy and Morgan when they’re left alone watching Lauren’s baby boy, Henry.

Episode 11 - ChristmasAs the holidays approach, Mindy wonders if Danny is about to propose, and a case of mistaken identity leads Morgan on the perfect date.

Episode 12 - StanfordMindy heads to Stanford University, where she makes a less-than-stellar first impression in her fellowship class. Meanwhile, back in New York, the practice is determined to win a basketball tournament.

Episode 13 - San Francisco BaeWhile trying to make friends in her new city, Mindy runs into a nerd-turned-billionaire ex-flame from Princeton. She imagines the life of riches she could have had with him and questions her relationship with Danny. Meanwhile, back in New York, Danny and Morgan think they witness Lauren cheating on Jeremy with Peter, so they devise a way to spy on Peter.

Episode 14 - No More Mr. Noishe GuyRob (guest star Tate Ellington) gives Mindy an opportunity to start up her own practice in San Francisco, and she struggles to tell Danny, especially when Danny shows her the brownstone he bought for the two of them in New York! Meanwhile, Jeremy and Peter grapple with the fact that Lauren is moving to Texas and leaving them both behind.

Episode 15 - Dinner At the CastellanosMindy has some big news to tell Danny but, just as she is getting ready to tell him, his father (guest star Dan Hedaya) and half-sister (guest star Madison Moellers) show up for an unexpected visit. The whole crew is invited to Annette’s house for the world’s most awkward family dinner.

Episode 17 - Danny Castellano Is My NutritionistDanny is upset with Mindy’s horrible eating habits and decides to make a deal with her that he will stop smoking if she stops eating poorly. Meanwhile, Jeremy struggles to fill Peter’s spot at the practice.

Episode 18 - Fertility BitesMindy’s fertility clinic opens, but with zero track record in the fertility field, attracting new patients is tougher than she imagined. Meanwhile, at Shulman & Associates, the nurses try to raise money for obese nurses while trying to get to know Dr. Bergdahl

Episode 19 - Confessions of a Catho-HolicWhen Danny’s priest dies after hearing Danny’s confession, he frantically tries to find a new priest so he can atone for his sins. Meanwhile, Jeremy tries to force the practice to attend his one-man show.

Episode 20 - What to Expect When You’re ExpandingMindy struggles with her body image as her baby bump begins to show, so she agrees to meet with Sheena (guest star Laverne Cox), an aspiring personal stylist. Meanwhile, Jeremy, heartbroken over Lauren, tries to dive back into the dating pool, and unexpectedly runs into Morgan’s girlfriend, Jessica (guest star Julia Stiles).

Episode 21 - Best ManMindy starts to question Danny’s commitment to their relationship when he’s a no-show for dinner with her parents. Meanwhile, when Morgan thinks he overhears Mindy saying Danny is not the father of her baby, he gathers all the guys with whom she’s ever slept, in an attempt to figure out who is the real father in the all new “Best Man” Season Finale episode
