Episode 1 - PeaceStockholm VE Day 1945. In the jubilant crowd on Kungsgatan, a spontaneous kiss between two strangers will have dire consequences. The Löwander family who runs the restaurant Djurgårdskällaren feels the pressure on their business due to the effects of the war.

Episode 2 - The ReturnMr Peter Löwander returns from military service in Europe accompanied by a Jewish girl named Suzanne Goldstein. Peter´s mother and the family´s “matriarch” Helga quietly resents her son´s new friend and ponders on what to do. Calle and Nina meet again. Will they be able to bring back the same intense feelings they experienced when they first met?

Episode 3 - The JubileeGustaf and Helga prepare a jubilee celebrating the restaurant´s 50 year existence as a way of attracting customers. Against the wishes of her brother, Nina organizes a jazz event for a younger clientele in the restaurant’s empty banquet room. Peter finally confronts his brother about the economic situation of their business.

Episode 4 - SecretsThe Löwander family is shocked and shaken by an announcement from Peter and Suzanne. Peter´s ongoing conflict with the gangster Ragnarsson culminates with some serious consequences. Gustaf faces not only a potential prison sentence but an even more humiliating exposure that could totally ruin his reputation. Nina and Calle´s secret relationship is at a breaking point. Helga asks Peter for a big favour.

Episode 5 - The Restaurant ManagerWhile Gustaf is held in police custody Peter takes over the role of restaurant manager at Djurgårdskällaren. Ragnarsson blackmails Peter by threatening Suzanne and the restaurant´s future is very much at stake. Calle makes a bad decision in regards to Nina. The head chef, Mr. Backe, shows some surprising new sides to his personality. Maggan and Lilly´s relationship deepens but are they risking too much by being together?

Episode 6 - The ReopeningAt this point everything is hanging by a thread. Peter and Nina are struggling to keep the restaurant afloat. Maggan is sick of how the staff at the restaurant are treated and puts up a fight for their rights. Gustaf gets released from jail and is starting to learn more about Suzanne’s painful secret. Calle finally gets his moment to shine in the kitchen, but is he really up for the challenge?

Episode 7 - Crayfish PartyStockholm, 1946. Nina and Erik are celebrating their engagement with a crayish party at the archipelago and Calle is reluctantly in charge of the food. Gustaf reveals Suzanne’s secret to Peter. Maggan is fired by Gustaf due to her commitment in the union. And Helga gets on the wrong foot with Nina’s future mother-in-law.

Episode 8 - The AgreementSuzanne’s meltdown leads to huge consequences for both Peter and the restaurant. And the conflict between Gustaf and Maggan is taken to its toll when help suddenly appears from a very unexpected place. Calle is facing a tough and terrible choice – to follow his heart or to take responsibility. Helga is pressuring Nina to do whatever the convention needs. And Gustaf is using the opportunity to pressure Peter when he has his weakest moment.

Episode 9 - The HousewifeStockholm, 1950. The past few years have really changed things for the Löwanders. Nina and Erik gave birth to a baby girl and Nina is currently living a calm and quiet life as a housewife. But things aren’t as perfect as they seem. Peter is working as a lawyer and got married to Ester who had a baby. And suddenly a love from the past appears.

Episode 10 - HopeNina’s addiction has catastrophic consequences. There is a dirty battle going on between Gustaf and Peter about the ruling of the restaurant. Maggan decides to candidate for chairman of the union but is faced with some powerful resistance. And Calle gets some unexpected competition in the kitchen.
