Season 3 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet

When Kat finally brings Jacob through the door and back to a mother who has been waiting twenty-four years for him, the reunion is joyful and heart-rending. But in the aftermath, reality hits home. Not only do Kat, Alice, and Jacob have no choice but to tell Del about the pond... the family must band together to figure out what to tell the world about Jacob’s return. But the important thing is... they’re doing it together. United. And when we rejoin them nine months later, we find the Landry family at the tail end of weathering a media storm like nothing Port Haven has seen - a story about a lost boy returning home after 24 years doesn’t die down quickly. But now the fervor is fading and Del, Kat, Alice, and Jacob are deciding, in their own ways, on the next road to go down. But choices and decisions are never as simple as they seem and will always come with huge and potentially shocking consequences.

Episode 2 - The Way We Were

In the wake of EP301’s startling revelations, each of our characters find themselves faced with new adventures - whether they expected them or not. And while some will take first steps into brand new journeys, others will realize that theirs have actually been there all along... waiting in the wings. Alice will embark on a new adventure in the most literal sense - an unexpected journey to 1974 that may be exactly what she needs after a summer spent focused on her future. But her reasons for being sent back will ultimately prove more shocking and crucial than Alice ever thought possible. Though Kat assumes Alice’s trip to the past will also involve her, she will witness firsthand why it has to be her daughter’s journey alone. But when Kat returns to the present, she realizes her biggest challenges and perhaps her greatest adventure is waiting for her at home. After the real reasons for Jacob’s return to the present are exposed, he chooses to come clean to Del. In the aftermath, Del finds herself struggling to equate the little boy she lost with the man who has returned. Mother and son will soon realize that if they want to take first steps into present day adventures, they will have to let go of what was... and be honest with each other about what is. As Elliot focuses on starting his next adventure, a visit from his past (in the shape of his father) threatens future plans. Elliot must listen to his heart and his gut - and while his heart (and future) belong to Kat, his gut is telling him that when it comes to Vic, if things look too good to be true, they usually are.

Episode 3 - Live and Let Die

Alice and Kat both get a lesson in asking the right questions as they seek answers to learn if Teen Colton knew about the in 1974, while Del rails against big changes to the Landry family dynamic in the present. Meanwhile, Elliot gets a new understanding of his father after Alice shines a light on Victor’s traumatic past, following the death of his brother in 1974.

Episode 4 - I'll Have to Say I Love You in a Song

All three Landry women deal with the love stories of their past and present. Alice witnesses the burgeoning of Teen Del and Colton’s love story in the past, inspiring her to continue her own one with Noah in the present. Meanwhile, Del relishes her own personal memories surrounding the beginning of her love story with Colton... until they are sullied by a shocking revelation. And Kat, keenly aware of the red flags that signaled the disintegration of her past marriage, becomes worried that her present love story with Elliot is beginning to feel stagnate.

Episode 5 - Reeling in the Years

Del’s birthday sees everyone taking a step back to reassess things (and, for Kat and Alice, that includes their investigations into both Colton and Casey as potential time travelers) and admit that they are surprisingly content with the here and now - with where they’re at and with what they have. Which usually means things are about to go off the rails... be it by external forces or internal self-sabotage. There’s a reason Del doesn’t like birthdays... they always seem to end in tears. And this year will be no different.

Episode 6 - Ain't No Sunshine

When Jacob and Kat return to 19th century Port Haven, they stumble upon one of the worst moments in history. Not just because the sun has disappeared... but because Susanna Augustine is somehow impossibly wed to Cyrus Goodwin. Now Kat is determined to “save the day” - for both Susanna and the town. And she will have some unexpected help in the shape of Thomas Coyle. Meanwhile, Elliot is forced to face a marriage as well - his failed one with Emma, who decides to stay in Port Haven to dissect what went wrong and finally understand how and why things fell apart. While Elliot struggles with questions of love and free will in a world where his future was predicted for him, Alice finds herself going through the same dilemma. Because she now holds the belief that Casey might be her future child... with Max Goodwin. Like Susanna, Alice is faced with the idea that she could end up marrying someone she hates. That is, until Del offers her granddaughter comfort and advice in the wake of revisiting her own memories of her romance with Colton. Memories Del knows are hers alone... which allows her to reconcile with Alice after their first real fight.

Episode 7 - Tell Me Something Good

Our characters are faced with the need to say a goodbye to some aspect of their life. For Alice, the goodbye is a literal one as she watches Teen Colton bid farewell to Del as their summer romance ends in the past, while in the present, she follows the clues to discovering Casey’s true identity. Meanwhile, Del and Jacob struggle with the emotional fallout from Kat’s confession about Colton’s death - and while Del attempts to say goodbye to her anger and resentment, Jacob realizes the goodbye he needs is from the past in order to deal with issues in the present. And Elliot’s kiss with ex Emma leads Kat to wonder if it might mean a goodbye to their relationship.

Episode 8 - Smoke on the Water

Reeling from shocking revelations, the Landry women are sent spinning in different directions. Kat runs from trouble on the home front with Elliot right into the arms of Thomas - before threats to the 1816 Landry homestead threaten everything. Alice avoids the mess that is her love life in the present by trying to help Teen Colton with his love life in the past; while Del struggles to hold on to the man she thought she knew as she comes to terms with the side of Colton that he kept hidden from her.

Episode 9 - Too Late to Turn Back Now

The fire at the 1816 Landry Homestead and the shocking realization that a time traveling Teen Colton was involved sees all three Landry women wishing they could read Colton Landry’s mind. While Kat remains in 1816 to clean up the Homestead mess (and gain some necessary closure), the news sends Alice back to 1974 (where she finally gets some much-needed answers) and sends an angry and betrayed Del down to the basement… to clear out Colton’s boxes once and for all. She is so sick of Landry men and their secrets! But Del soon realizes Colton isn’t the only Landry man with a secret… for Jacob, too, has been reeling from the Homestead fire. And has ultimately decided to take out some decidedly 19th century revenge on a present-day Goodwin - his new boss, Lewis. It’s up to Del to stop him before it’s too late.

Episode 10 - If You Could Read My Mind

The three Landry women will finally get answers to their deepest questions about the past, present, and future… especially when we dive into the mind of Colton Landry himself on the final day of his life. But as resolution and redemption are within reach… and after a surprising member of the Landry family takes her first leap into the pond… a shocking discovery will launch our characters into their next time travel adventure. An adventure that started with a baby being abandoned by the pond… and ends with a call for help from another era hidden inside a clock found in a wall.
