Episode 1 - Guess Who's Not Coming to Dinner

Grace (Debra Messing) wants to prove that she's not completely dependent upon Will (Eric McCormack) by moving to the apartment across the hall. As a bold display of her newly found independence, she decides to throw a dinner party without the help of Will - much to the chagrin of her guests.

  

Episode 2 - Election

Grace (Debra Messing) discovers that Will (Eric McCormack) has certain perks in his apartment, such as a working fireplace, that other tenants, like her, don't have. Realizing that he's been able to acquire these goodies as President of the board of tenants, she decides to run against him in the upcoming election.

  

Episode 3 - I Never Promised You an Olive Garden

Will and Grace find themselves “cheating”on their old, dull friends Rob and Ellen.

  

Episode 4 - Polk Defeats Truman

When Will's (Eric McCormack) ego is inflated by his powerful client, Harlin Polk (guest star Gary Grubbs) who encompasses 90% of his business, he makes the mistake of dismissing the many clients who believed in him before his success.

  

Episode 5 - Whose Mom Is It Anyway?

Grace (Debra Messing), who is usually irritated by her well-meaning but meddling mother (guest star Debbie Reynolds), gets jealous when her mom starts to dote on Will (Eric McCormack).

  

Episode 6 - Das Boob

When a photo of Grace gets published in a newspaper in which she appears to be much more well-endowed than she actually is, she gets asked out the next day by her unrequited high-school heartthrob (guest star Salvator Xuereb), but Karen (Megan Mullally) convinces her it's only because of the photo.

  

Episode 7 - To Serve and Disinfect

A recently unemployed Will (Eric McCormack) is challenged by Jack (Sean Hayes) to join his staff as a cater-waiter. Meanwhile, Grace (Debra Messing) discovers a naughty, naughty little secret of Karen's (Megan Mullally).

  

Episode 8 - Homo for the Holidays

When Will (Eric McCormack) and Grace (Debra Messing) meet Jack's (Sean Hayes) mother and learn that not only is she unaware that her son is gay, she believes he has had a romantic relationship with Grace, they invite her to Thanksgiving dinner with Jack hoping to force the issue into the open.

  

Episode 9 - Terms of Employment

Grace (Debra Messing) is hired as an interior design consultant by a successful lawyer (Tony-winning guest star Gregory Hines) but when he reneges on his payment, she calls on Will (Eric McCormack) to represent her. Will so impresses the defendant/lawyer that he later hires Will himself.

  

Episode 10 - Tea and a Total Lack of Sympathy

Will's (Eric McCormack) new boss (guest star Gregory Hines) gives him an ultimatum - he has until Friday to bring in a major new client to the firm or lose his job. At the eleventh hour, Will is still empty-handed - but then Karen (Megan Mullally) pays an unexpected visit, and he gets an idea.

  

Episode 11 - He's Come Undone

When Will (Eric McCormack) finds out that Grace (Debra Messing) is dating his therapist, he believes it confirms his notion that Grace always has to be the center of attention. The whole issue causes Will to experience some strange dreams.

  

Episode 12 - Oh Dad, Poor Dad, He’s Kept Me in the Closet and I’m Feeling So Sad

Will's (Eric McCormack) ideal relationship with his loving father sours when his dad prepares to accept an award at his company's dinner banquet but tries to dissuade his son from attending because he's told everyone that Will is married to Grace (Debra Messing).

  

Episode 13 - Acting Out

When a kiss between two gay men scheduled to air on TV doesn't happen, Will (Eric McCormack) and Jack (Sean Hayes) go to the network to complain and have an unexpected meeting with the "Today" show's Al Roker (gueststarring as himself).

  

Episode 14 - Seeds of Discontent

Will's (Eric McCormack) best friend from high school, Claire (guest star Megyn Price, "Lateline"), comes to visit, with an unusual request - she would like her former classmate to donate the fruit of his loins so she can have a baby. Grace (Debra Messing) is NOT pleased.

  

Episode 15 - Sweet and Sour Charity

After winning a call-in radio contest for prized concert tickets, Grace (Debra Messing) vows to reciprocate and volunteers her time to charity, but when she recruits Will (Eric McCormack) to join her at a community center, she quickly begs off her commitment when it conflicts with her busy social calendar.

  

Episode 16 - Hey La, Hey La, My Ex-Boyfriend’s Back

Will's (Eric McCormack) ex-boyfriend Michael is back in town and Will gets the vibe that he just might want to rekindle their relationship. In a rare moment of self-evaluation, Karen (Megan Mullally) decides that it's time for her to become a more involved employee at Grace Adler Designs.

  

Episode 17 - Advise and Resent

When Will (Eric McCormack) is set up on a blind date (guest star Michael E. Rodgers) by his boss (guest star Gregory Hines), he has internal debates on whether or not to go. Of course, Jack (Sean Hayes) gives Will advice on how to be a good blind date.

  

Episode 18 - An Affair to Forget

When Ellen (guest star Leigh-Allyn Baker) and Rob (guest star Tom Gallop) announce that they are getting married, Grace (Debra Messing) feels forced to reveal to Will (Eric McCormack) that she once slept with Rob - a secret that surfaces at Ellen's bachelorette party, and prompts Ellen to seek revenge.

  

Episode 19 - There But for the Grace of Grace

It's a scary glimpse into the future for Will (Eric McCormack) and Grace (Debra Messing) when they visit their curmudgeonly retired college professor (guest star Orson Bean) only to discover that he is a bitter old man that has a "Grace" (guest star Piper Laurie) of his own.

  

Episode 20 - The Hospital Show

While on a blind date, Will (Eric McCormack) finds out that Karen's husband Stan has had a heart attack and rushes to the hospital to be with the gang.

  

Episode 21 - My Best Friend's Tush

Grace (Debra Messing) discovers that one of Karen's (Megan Mullally) friends is the notorious Helena Barnes (guest star Joan Collins, "Dynasty"), one of New York's most-celebrated interior designers, and her primary competition for a lucrative design job.

  

Episode 22 - Girls, Interrupted

Grace (Debra Messing) becomes chummy with her unpredictable neighbor Val from down the hall, and while the pair surprisingly find they share a mutual rapport, Grace's glow dims when she tells Will (Eric McCormack) that a sentimental music box has disappeared during her new pal's visit.

  

Episode 23 - Ben? Her?, Pt. 1

Unknown to Will (Eric McCormack), Grace (Debra Messing) has a romantic dalliance with his boss Ben (guest star Gregory Hines), but when Will finds out, she makes him promise not to interfere. At the same time, Rosario kindly informs Jack (Sean Hayes) that she wants a divorce so she can marry Karen's gardener. Part 1 of 2.

  

Episode 24 - Ben? Her?, Pt. 2

Unknown to Will (Eric McCormack), Grace (Debra Messing) has a romantic dalliance with his boss Ben (guest star Gregory Hines), but when Will finds out, she makes him promise not to interfere.
