Season 1 Episode Guide
Episode 1 - PilotSam and Mel are thrilled that they are having a baby, and can't wait to go visit Mel's parents to give them the news. But unfortunately for Sam there are many mishaps that get in the way. First Sam is delayed at an office party by a drunk, flirtatious co worker, who throws up on him. When he tries to shower at her place while she is passed out, she wakes up and throws him out with no clothes on. He shows up in a garbage bag as a diaper to his future inlaws. It all goes down hill from there.

Episode 2 - The BirdSam and Mel are spending the week at Mel's parents house, and Sam is trying to repair the damage he did with Mel's parents. However, he accidentally kills one of Dick's beloved birds. He tries to replace the bird with a new look-a-like bird, but in doing so lets the other bird out of the cage, and it flies away. He also screws things up with Mel's older sister, who is there with her baby and young son. He keeps walking in on her while she is pumping. And lastly, he thinks he has captured the notorious neighborhood robber, but it turns out it is actually Mel's brother David, who has just arrived from Africa.

Episode 3 - The MonitorAfter damaging Dick's portrait, Sam along with his friend Adam who is visiting the Clayton's house, attempt to fix it but a larger problem arises when his friend falls for Mel's sister, Chloe, much to Dick's chagrin.

Episode 4 - The TruckWhile Sam and Mel continue to keep their big news hush hush, their little secret and more explodes in front of the entire Clayton family, on this week's episode of "Worst Week."

Episode 5 - The ClubSam tells a lie to his coworkers after he invites too many of them to his wedding. But the excuse he uses to uninvite them snowballs into an even bigger problem. Adam -- Nick Kroll. Margaret -- Susan Blakely.

Episode 6 - The RingWhile babysitting Mel's niece, Sam accidentally lets her eat one of the wedding rings that June (Olympia Dukakis) gave him to use on their wedding day, on "Worst Week."

Episode 7 - The VowsSam winds up in hot water, literally, trying to impress the Clayton family minister, on "Worst Week."

Episode 8 - The CakeSam and Mel are on pins and needles when Sam's politically incorrect father (Fred Willard) and his extroverted mother meet the Claytons for the first time the day before the wedding, on "Worst Week."

Episode 9 - The WeddingWhen Mel and Angela have a spat on the day of the wedding, suddenly Sam is left in charge of pulling it all together before the guests arrive, on "Worst Week." Fred Willard and Olympia Dukakis guest star.

Episode 10 - The ApartmentWhen Angela decides she wants to rent the apartment upstairs from Sam and Mel to be closer once the baby comes, Mel tries to prove that she doesn't need her help.

Episode 11 - The GiftWhen Sam learns that Dick buys Angela the same Christmas gift every year, he offers to help him get something really special for her...but Sam's attempt to deliver the perfect present does not go as well as he planned, on "Worst Week."

Episode 12 - The ArticleWhen Sam tries to clear his mind from the experience of accidentally walking in on Angela at the gynecologist's office, he writes down his private thoughts - which accidentally wind up in the wrong hands.

Episode 13 - The PuppyWhen Sam sees a litter of puppies being born, he worries he might not be able to handle the birth of his own child.

Episode 14 - The SexWhen Sam and Mel babysit their nephew, he captures a photograph of them in a compromising position that he plans to bring to school for a family photo exhibition.

Episode 15 - The EpiduralWhen Mel calls Sam to let him know she is in labor, he misunderstands the name of the hospital and winds up at the wrong one, on the season finale of "Worst Week."

Episode 16 - The PartyWhen Sam gives it his all to help the Claytons prepare for Dick's birthday party, he loses his pants and some dignity in his effort to make everything perfect.
