Episode 1 - Welcome to PCA

Zoey Brooks and her brother, Dustin, are heading to their first day at Pacific Coast Academy, a private boarding school that is allowing females to enroll for the first time in its history. As Zoey gets acquainted with her new surroundings, she decides to try out for the boys' basketball team, a decision that is met with opposition from a boy named Logan. Zoey challenges Logan to a five-on-five, boys-versus-girls basketball game, which the boys dominate until Zoey's gruff roommate Dana decides to join the fray, carrying the girls all the way back to within one point. The girls lose on Dana's missed last-second shot, but win the boys' respect and acceptance in the process.

Logan offers the girls a peace offering in the form of a stuffed animal, which turns out to be imbedded with a webcam that he uses to spy on them in their lounge. When the girls finally realize how their secrets are being disseminated throughout campus, they devise a plan to incriminate Logan using the help of the other boys and the owner of a campus sushi restaurant. Logan ends up confessing to the dean, and the other kids all celebrate with free sushi.

When Dustin comes to Chase and Michael for advice on the subject, they tell him to stick up for himself, which prompts Dustin to challenge the bully to a fight. Zoey gets wind of the fight and instead of intervening directly, orchestrates a ruse whereby the janitor poses as a dean in order to threaten the school bully with disciplinary action. The next time Dustin stands up for himself, the bully backs down, and Zoey is satisfied knowing she helped, even if Dustin is none the wiser.

  

Episode 5 - Prank Week

When the boys TP the girls' dorm and bombard them with water balloons as part of the PCA tradition of "prank week," the girls devise a plan to get even which consists of defacing the statue in front of the boys' dorm. As it turns out, the son of the founder of PCA is on hand to witness the vandalism of his father's statue, and in a fit of rage, he decides it was a mistake to let girls into PCA. When Zoey takes sole blame for the prank, the founder’s son allows the other girls to stay, provided that Zoey accepts her expulsion and issues an apology to the entire student body. When the day of Zoey's address to the school comes, all students, male and female, have teamed up to pull one final prank and absolve Zoey once and for all.

The boys pull a prank on the girls which makes the girls devise a plan to get even. This leads to prank after prank.

  

Episode 6 - The Play

An announcement is made that the school play at PCA will be based on Chase's original script, so he is offered the male lead and casts Zoey opposite him, as his love interest. But when Logan comes in to read and is clearly better than everyone else, Chase is left no choice but to award him the lead role. At first, Zoey is hesitant to work with Logan and plans on quitting, until she sees him in action and immediately becomes smitten. Chase tries to sabotage Logan by getting him to catch Dustin's cold, but the plan backfires and Chase is sequestered in the infirmary on opening night. Meanwhile as the play unfolds, Logan's true colors are revealed, allowing Zoey to see him for the jerk he really is. She improvises some alternate dialogue to avoid kissing him at the end of the play, and the crowd loves the new version and responds with a standing ovation.

As a project for Business Class, the kids are instructed to break into small groups and shoot commercials for a new scooter on the market called the Jet-X. Nicole, Zoey and Dana can't agree on how to approach their project, so they end up defecting into solo projects that all go very poorly. Meanwhile, Logan uses his father's connections to acquire professional equipment and the services of Jeff Garrett - celebrity spokesperson - for the boys' commercial. By the time the girls realize that they made a mistake by separating, it's too late to come up with anything new, so Zoey takes it upon herself to salvage the project by combining all of the girls' various footage into a brand new, Super-Commercial that ultimately wins the grand prize.

When it turns out that Drake comes with a five thousand dollar price tag, the girls decide to have a fundraiser in order to drum up some cash. They only raise one thousand, but the PCA Chairman of the Board agrees to pay for the remaining cost provided that the kids wash his car for him. But the kids end up crashing the car and spending the Drake Bell money to fix it before the Chairman can notice. Drake’s band refuses to go on for less money, until they eventually strike a deal with Zoey that involves her specially-designed concert tees.

Stacy, an employee at the PCA bookstore, steals Zoey's backpack prototype, and the whole school gets backpack fever, leaving Stacy to reap all the benefits.

In an attempt to get out of gym class, the kids expose a loophole in PCA policy and form a Frisbee Golf team, but the rules stipulate that in order for the team to be official, they have to compete in and win at least one sanctioned event. Chase's plan to schedule a game with an easy opponent backfires, however, when he inadvertently books a team of juvenile delinquent Frisbee golfers from Ridgeway Youth Detention Facility. The Ridgeway kids win, but when they escape from their parole officers, the PCA team is awarded the forfeit victory.

The PCA school dance committee implements a new personality-based partner selection process. Zoey - through some seemingly technological glitch - is paired up with two boys.

While at the dance all the kids struggle to deal with their assigned matches, and it is eventually revealed that Chase and Glen both used dishonest means to get Zoey's personality test answers in order to insure being paired with her. Zoey is upset with both of them, but comes to understand their reasons for doing so.

  

Episode 13 - Little Beach Party

It's the end of the semester and the entire student body is looking forward to the celebratory party at a nearby beach, but when one of Quinn's inventions goes awry, the kids find themselves four hours away from their intended destination at another beach altogether. While stranded on this empty, abandoned beach, the kids decide to make the most of their situation until they are finally able to contact help in the form of Mr. Bender and his trusty pick-up truck.

The student body is looking forward to the end-of-semester party at a nearby beach, but one of Quinn's inventions goes awry and the kids find themselves miles away from the action.

The gang is surprised to find that former bully, Vince Blake is back at PCA. The girls decide to just ignore him, which is harder for some than others, but the guys think it's time for some revenge.

The end of the school year is approaching, and that means Prom is too! Zoey is going to spend her summer on Maui, but when James offers to come along, her reaction isn't what he expected.
