Episode 1 - Zou's driftwoodThe day after a storm, Zou is at the beach with Elzee, where they find a lot of pieces of wood. Could they be something to do with a shipwreck?

Episode 2 - Zou's camouflageZou is doing a school project on camouflage. With Grandpa's help, he learns a lot about the different ways animals and insects camouflage themselves.

Episode 3 - Zou and the dinosaur eggWhen Zou discovers a dinosaur egg in the park, he takes it home in the hope it will hatch.

Episode 4 - Zou and the water raceGrandpa takes Zou and Elzee to do some kayaking at the beach. But upon arrival, they find the kayaks for rental are being serviced.

Episode 5 - Commander ZouWhen Poc finds something of interest in a tree in the park, Grandpa helps Zou to see up high with the help of a home-made periscope. And, having made the periscope, what else would a young zebra need but a home-made submarine!

Episode 6 - Zou's beadsZou is making a tapestry in Art Class. Zena suggests making it more interesting by adding beads.

Episode 8 - Zou learns to swimZinnia and her mum and Dad are going to the beach to play - and to swim. Would Zou like to join them? Zou seems strangely reluctant and Zinnia goes without him. Grandpa discovers that Zou doesn't want to go to the beach because he can't swim. So Grandpa teaches him.

Episode 9 - Zou's museumZou discovers a rare brain coral at the beach, which gives him the idea of starting a museum.

Episode 10 - Zou gets framedWhen Zou and Grandpa discover some old picture frames while tidying up Nanna's flat for her, they are about to throw them away - until they decide to renovate them instead.

Episode 11 - Zou and the missing pageZou is reading an exciting mystery story. Trouble is the last page is missing. Zou's hunt for the author reveals a very unlikely writer indeed.

Episode 12 - Zou and Grandpa's puppetZigmund and Zoroaster have set the children a project: to make something that reminds them of their family. Zou decides to make a copy of an old puppet belonging to Grandpa.

Episode 13 - Zou's cardboard funMum is having a washing machine delivered and can't play with Zou. And the park is closed. And so is the Sports Hall. And his friends are all otherwise engaged. What's a zebra to do? Well, have fun with a great big cardboard box that arrives with the washing machine of course.

Episode 14 - Zou and the hungry magpieZou and his friends are at the beach, where they are having an art class. Zou doesn't know what to paint - and he is being constantly harassed by a hungry magpie, which isn't helping his concentration.

Episode 15 - Zou's masterpieceUncle Zavier is holding an exhibition at Zebroutique. When a painting Zou is doing under the watchful eye of Zena blows away, Zavier discovers it - and hails it as a masterpiece.

Episode 16 - Zou and the secret admirerZou receives a letter from a secret admirer, who praises one of his paintings. Who can this mystery person be? A detective hunt reveals the identity.

Episode 17 - Zou's ski runZavier and Zelda are going on a ski-ing holiday with Zinnia. But on the morning of their departure, they find themselves snowed in. Zou and Grandpa to the rescue with their home-made snow plough.

Episode 18 - Zou the garden decoratorMum's boss is coming to dinner. She's an art aficionado, so Zou decides to decorate the garden in her honour. He and Elzee get a little slap-dash in their decorating, with the result that the garden looks more like a rubbish tip than a piece of art.

Episode 19 - Zou the scientistZou has been set another project by his school. He decides to do some research into yawns. Unfortunately, no-one seems to be tired and yawns are thin on the ground. But at last a yawn occurs and Zou makes the discovery that yawning is contagious. Very contagious.

Episode 20 - Zou the shopkeeperMr. Zoey and Zak haven't been on holiday together for ages. Zou offers to step in and look after the shop form Mr. Zoey. Things are going very well until Grandpa's phone, with its new ringtone, goes missing - and startles Uncle Zavier almost out of his black and white striped skin.

Episode 21 - Zou and Nanna's memory bookNanna's friend is coming for a visit; Zou thinks it would be a wonderful idea to make her a 'Memory Book' - a book full of photos and mementos of her younger days.

Episode 22 - Zou the lifeguardZou has been watching Zowie at the beach. He'd like to be a lifeguard too, he thinks. But being a lifeguard doesn't turn out to be quite as interesting as he hoped - until he manages to save a fish from a sandcastle built by Zak.

Episode 23 - Zou and the wheel of questionsNanna's favourite TV programme 'Wheel of Questions' has been replaced by a much less interesting show. Zou decides to cheer his Nanna up by recreating the show in his living room.

Episode 24 - Zou and the haunted houseWhen Zou and Zak hear strange noises in the house, they are convinced it is haunted. With a little help from Grandpa and Elzee, the "ghosts" are tracked down, but not before an exciting ghostbusting mission has led them round several wrong turnings.

Episode 25 - Zou and the windAnother project set by his school has required Zou to do something on 'The Wind'. But what to make? In the end, he creates a bicycle powered fan, which is much appreciated by everyone: it's a very hot day!

Episode 26 - Zou and Grandpas's bravery medalGrandpa is going to a reunion with his army colleagues. But on the way he loses his precious medal. Luckily for him, Zou has previously made a brass-rubbing of the medal and, with a spot of detective work and the help of the brass rubbing, the medal is recovered.

Episode 27 - Zou and the pianoWhen the sound system fails in the Sports Hall, it looks as if the long awaited and eagerly anticipated disco will have to be cancelled. Then Zou remembers Nanna's piano. Not without some difficulty, the piano is moved to the Sports Hall and the disco is a huge success.

Episode 28 - Zou the sports coachZou and Zak have been challenged to a beach volleyball game by Zinnia and Elzee. What they need is some training. Zou's family however seem to want him and Zak to help them with various other things.

Episode 29 - Zou and Mum's presentMum has lost a beautiful powder compact given to her by Zou. She can't find it anywhere! But Zou has an idea: maybe they could borrow Uncle Zavier's metal detector to find it.

Episode 30 - Zou and the lucky football shirtZou and his friends are to play an important football match at the Sports Hall on the morrow. Due to one thing and another, their kit gets locked in the sports hall. How is Zou supposed to play at his best without his lucky number seven shirt?

Episode 31 - Zou cleans upIt's the 'Tidiest Town of the Year' competition and Zou and his friends are doing their best to make the town litter free. While so doing, they find a lucky cereal bar wrapper entitling the holder to a wonderful prize.

Episode 32 - FootprintsZou plays a game of "Footprints" in the snow with Grandpa, Elzee and her mum. The object is to follow a trail of footprints left in the snow. But has Zou been too sneaky? Has he lost Elzee and Zena forever?

Episode 33 - Zou and the Zebra town matchIt's Zak's birthday and his dad has bought him tickets for a basketball match at the Sports Hall. But the teams have both come down with flu. Zou organises a much more exciting match instead.

Episode 34 - Zou and the gymnastic competitionTwo youngsters are guaranteed to go through to the regional gymnastics competition. Elzee is most disappointed when she misses out. But Zou has an idea. Perhaps they could go as a team?

Episode 35 - Zou the personnal trainerZigmund and Zoroaster, in the opinion of Zou, need some serious work on their fitness. He appoints himself as their personal trainer. But when the training session becomes a little too vigorous for them, they decide to take a breather. When Zou returns home, he finds he is training all by himself.

Episode 36 - Zou and the bicycleZowie is taking a cycling proficiency course in the Sports Hall. Zinnia is over-enthusiastic and it takes a more slow and measured approach from Zou to show her where she's going wrong.

Episode 38 - Zou and the snowdriftIt's been snowing again and on their way to Mr. Zoey's Zou imagines he has heard some strange noises.

Episode 39 - Zou's mascotZou and his friends are to play in an important football match. To qualify, each team must have a mascot. Due to various unexpected disasters, Zou's team's mascot becomes unusable. Now they won't be able to take part in the competition, unless... Poc to the rescue!

Episode 40 - Zou to the rescueAn orienteering competition is to take place in the park. Zou and Grandpa have entered but find they have to help Uncle Zavier, who has no idea at all about orienteering, and Zinnia.

Episode 41 - Zou and the ideal dayZou has to write an essay for school "My Ideal Day". He tries to recreate this without much success. But he realises that, in spite of the setbacks, his family have helped to make it just as ideal as he might have hoped.

Episode 42 - Zou the ballet dancerWhen Zou is asked by Zinnia to join her ballet class, he declines. It looks pretty boring to him. Nanna explains that Ballet is anything but boring; it's athletic, muscular and a lot of fun.

Episode 43 - Gym timeDue to a computer failure, the sessions at the Sports Hall have been muddled up. Zou and Zak's tennis session has been double booked with Elzee's and Zinnia's ballet lessons.

Episode 44 - Zou the Tightrope WalkerThe youngsters have to decide which gymnastic activity they wish to partake in. Zou decides he'd like to do Slacklining, but he needs three companions. Zinnia is not keen. But when it's discovered that her fear of heights is the reason for this, Zou helps her conquer her fears.

Episode 45 - Aunt zelda's birthday presentZinnia wants to make her mother a present - and with Zou's help (and a little subterfuge) this ambition is fulfilled. By clever manipulation, Zou manages to find out Zelda's favourite colour, favourite flower and favourite scent and these are all incorporated into a wonderful gift.

Episode 46 - Zou's carrier birdThe snow has cut off all electronic communication. Even the landline is affected. Nanna tells Zou that in earlier days, pigeons were used to carry messages. This gives Zou an idea. Could Poc act as a messenger bird? Indeed he could!

Episode 47 - Zou and Nanna's bluesNanna is gently bemoaning the fact that in her young day, things were all so much slower; everyone was more polite and had time to do things at a more relaxed pace. Zou does his best to recreate those days for her.

Episode 48 - Zou and the tortoiseWhen Zinnia invites everyone to a fancy dress party, Zou isn't sure what to go as - until he hits on the idea of making a dinosaur costume. He discovers that Zak's invitation was lost, so Zak has not got a costume at all. Zou kindly donates his outfit to Zak.

Episode 49 - Zou tooWhen Zigmund and Zoroaster make a waxwork model of Zou, they ask whether they can place it in the window of Uncle Zavier's shop. This causes much confusion as the waxwork is so realistic it is mistaken for Zou by Dad, Elzee - and even Poc!
|
Episode 50 - Zou sells outIt's getting close to Christmas and Uncle Zavier and Aunt Zelda are despairing of selling their seasonal line. Zou helps them organise their shop to better effect and soon the shop till is ringing.

Episode 51 - Zou's flight of fancyWhen Zinnia invites everyone to a fancy dress party, Zou isn't sure what to go as - until he hits on the idea of making a dinosaur costume. He discovers that Zak's invitation was lost, so Zak has not got a costume at all. Zou kindly donates his outfit to Zak.

Episode 52 - The return of the pianoIt's the day after the disco and Nanna needs her piano back. When it arrives, she tries it out, only to find that some keys are not playing properly. And Zavier has lost his shop keys. Could they be the cause of the malfunctioning piano?
