Season 1 Episode Guide
Episode 1 - The Thing That Was ColdThe Dinopaws are enjoying playing in a snowy tundra when Bob starts making a “Brrrrr” noise, then his teeth start chattering. Gwen asks Bob if he’s cold and if he wants to stop playing in the snow but Bob insists that he is ok and he does not want to stop playing because he’s having too much fun! But the more they play, the more Bob goes “Brrrrrrr” and his teeth go chattery until eventually he’s frozen solid. Gwen and Tony try lots of things to warm Bob up, running, jumping, sunshine but nothing works. Finally they try giving Bob a huggle.

Episode 2 - The Thing We Didn't Want to EndThe Dinopaws are having such a fun time that they don’t want the day to end. To make the day last forever they chase the sun but they aren’t quite fast enough and the sun sets. In the forest at night Gwen Bob and Tony discover all of the wonderful things that only come out at night. As the moon gets low in the sky Gwen starts to worry that night will soon be over and the magic will be over. She’s about to run after the moon to stop the night ending but Bob suggests they lie down and enjoy the peace instead.

Episode 3 - The Thing That Kept Us AwakeThe Dinopaws come over the hill very tired but they can’t get to sleep! They try lots of sleepy things but keep being by different noises. Then they hear a very loud, very strange snorty noise. They decide to go and investigate only to find that the noise is coming from a tiny sleeping Snoropaw in a cave. They try all their sleepy things backwards in order to wake it up but it doesn’t work. Doing lots of awakey things is quite hard work. The Dinopaws are exhausted and bed down next to the Snoropaw – finally falling asleep despite the snorty noise he’s making!

Episode 4 - The Thing That BrokeTony discovers a big round and invents the brilliant game of bigging and rounding! He runs on the top of the huge rock making it roll - like a unicyclist. It looks like the most fun ever so Bob and Gwen join in. Our trio race through the landscape atop their new toy having the time of their lives until it hits a rock and they’re sent flying through the air. The Dinopaws land to see their big round broken into three pieces. They try to put it back together but they can’t and they give up.

Episode 5 - The Thing We Looked ThroughGwen accidently makes a hole in a big rock which she calls a Look-at-Me! Standing behind it makes her feel different and she bursts into song! Her song attracts an audience which makes Gwen want to play Look-at-Me even more. Bob and Tony want a turn too. Their audience grows and soon the Dinopaws are vying for the lime light. They jostle and bustle for their turn to play Look-at-Me, pushing and nudging each other out of the way causing the rock to wobble this way and that and eventually roll away down a hill. The Dinopaws chase after it and try to stop it but they can’t.

Episode 6 - The Thing That PointedThe Dinopaws find a something that is round at one end and pointy at the other. They decide that it is a thing that points and it must be pointing to a special something to see. They carry it away, following its directions and trying very hard not to drop it but it manages to roll away from them down a hill. When they finally catch up with it at the bottom of the hill they see it has a crack in it. They think they’ve broken it until Bob notices that the thing that points has a something inside it! The Dinopaws look to see a little, beaky, baby Dinopaw staring back.

Episode 7 - The Thing That We Wanted to EatThe Dinopaws are hungry. They spot a delicious looking green shoot and are about to devour it when Bob points out that it looks a so little and alone – maybe they should help look after it instead? So Gwen and Bob and Tony (who would really rather just eat it) give the plant shelter and water and save it from very hungry Blobs and the plant flourishes. When Gwen caves and eats a beautiful fruit from the now thriving plant they think it’s all over – but the plant only produces more. Eventually there is enough for everyone and the Dinopaws and the Blobs enjoy a feast.

Episode 8 - The Thing That Rescued UsGwen, Bob and Tony are playing on the most amazing bouncy mushrooms when they bounce very high and get stuck in a tree. They can’t move and they can’t get down but before they can panic, Lynda the teen pterodactyl comes flying to their rescue. She frees them from the tree, depositing them safely on the ground. The Dinopaws decode to play more safely so they stop bouncing and start stomping. They stomp as hard as they can but their stomping makes big cracks in the ground, one of which comes straight towards Tony. Once again Lynda swoops in to save them.

Episode 9 - The Thing That Was A SurpriseBob is convinced that things are more exciting when you don’t know they’re going to happen, Gwen is not. He tells Gwen that he knows something exciting is going to happen but he won’t tell her what it is – because not knowing is more exciting. Gwen and Tony can’t stand not knowing, they search for the exciting something and try to guess what it is until Bob gives in and shows them. The exciting something is – Bob standing on his front paws. The only problem is that Gwen and Tony aren’t impressed at all. Bob tries again to show his friends something exciting but he just can’t impress them.

Episode 10 - The Thing That Called BobThe Dinopaws come over the hill wondering what makes them - them. They hear a voice shouting ‘Bob’ and run into a rocky place to find out who it was. They eventually find some little Pterodactyls calling Bob but they say that Bob is not Bob at all. Bob is so sad about not being Bob, he is moved to recite a sad poem, which impresses the little Pterodactyls – their Bob can’t do that! Bob remembers all of the things he can do which make him Bob. When the other Bob turns up, they figure out that everyone has special things that make them them!
