Season 2 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - The Cat and the Spider

He-Man meets Kittrina, a roguish cat-woman, and with her help defeats the dread demon Grimalkin which has been released by Skeletor and his spidery henchman, Webstor.

Episode 2 - Energy Beast

Orko is ensorcelled by the Whispering Scrolls into freeing the Energy Beasts, a fearsome creature of pure energy which threatens to drain Eternia of all power.

Episode 3 - Day of the Machines

Skeletor creates a weird energy creature which infiltrates Man-At-Arms' master computer and causes all of the machines in the palace to run wild.

Episode 4 - The Gamesman

Lord Todd, a handsome nobleman, cons Teela into spending time at his castle. Todd turns out to be a horrible alien who wants Teela to be a living chess piece.

Episode 5 - Fisto's Forest

Fisto, a hero of Eternia, tells a young boy tale of how he used to be a villain until He-Man and a young girl convinced him to change his ways.

Episode 6 - The Rarest Gift of All

Orko messes up gifts that Man-At-Arms and Teela have created for the King's and Queen's anniversary, and in moment of despair he runs away.

Episode 7 - The Great Books Mystery

All the great books of Eternia have vanished. They have been stolen by Batros, King of the Bat People, who means to use them to make himself Emperor of Eternia.

Episode 8 - Origin of the Sorceress

The assault on Eternia by the ancient wizard Morgoth leads to the Sorceress revealing to He-Man her own history, including the events that caused her to become the Sorceress.

Episode 9 - Island of Fear

Skeletor is using a floating island to capture food ships and starve the people of Eternia. He then augments this plan by setting the island to crash into and destroy the Great Eternian Dam, thus flooding all of the King's domain.

Episode 10 - To Save Skeletor

Sh'gora, a terrible monster from another dimension which Skeletor summoned, turns on him. To prevent Sh'gora from conquering Castle Grayskull, He-Man, Fisto, Teela, Orko, and Battlecat must team up with Skeletor and his minions, first rescuing Skeletor from the monster's clutches.

Episode 11 - The Ice Age Cometh

Icer, a minion of Skeletor's, take control of the Eternian Weather Station and threatens to bring a huge glacier down on the Royal Palace.

Episode 12 - Trouble in Trolla

Orko learns that his Uncle Montork has been replaced as head of the Trollan Academy of Magic by Snoob, a young pupil of his. Orko goes to Trolla to comfort his uncle, only to discover that Snoob is teaching Trollan magic to Whiplash.

Episode 13 - The Betrayal of the Stratos

When Skeletor attacks Avion, the bird-people learn that their defenses have been sabotaged. Hawke, a bird-woman, blames Stratos and he is exiled. Skeletor then returns to Avion and this time manages to get what he wants, the Egg of Avion.

Episode 14 - Disappearing Dragons

Dragons are disappearing from Dragon Mountain, and Granamyr asks He-Man for aid in finding out where the dragons are going. He-Man, Mekaneck, Buzz Off, Battlecat, and Orko search and find that Kobra Kahn and Webstor are sending the dragons to another dimension.

Episode 15 - Shadow of Skeletor

Skeletor tries to provoke a war between the people of the Bright Moon of Eternia and the Dark Moon of Eternia by creating incidents on one moon and putting the blame on the people of the other moon.

Episode 16 - The Arena

While Om, an alien composed of pure energy, visits Eternia, Skeletor attacks the Palace with a goblin army. There is a furious battle which is stopped by Om, who declares that He will choose a champion from either side to resolve the conflict - He-Man and Skeletor.

Episode 17 - Attack From Below

The Belots, a mole-like subterranean race, are causing crops to disappear from the surface, and capture Teela in the process.

Episode 18 - Into the Abyss

While playing a friendly game of Hide-And-Go-Find with Adam, Teela accidentally slips into the great abyss surrounding Castle Grayskull

Episode 19 - Fraidy Cat

When Skeletor sends a horde of bad guys to the Palace to kidnap Queen Marlena, He-Man, Man-At-Arms, and Teela take off in one direction to follow them while Orko and Cringer go in another. Cringer shows that he is not as big a fraidy cat as he thinks when he bravely foils the trap Skeletor has laid for He-Man.

Episode 20 - The Rainbow Warrior

Skeletor captures King Randor, Prince Adam, Man-At-Arms, and Teela, then prepares to launch his fleet against the Royal Palace. But Queen Marlena flies against Skeletor in her old spacecraft and wipes out his fleet, proving herself the most dynamic pilot on all Eternia.

Episode 21 - Trip to Morainia

Adam is sent on a mission to the Kingdom of Morainia to pick up some energy crystals they have developed. But Skeletor also wants these crystals, and he captured the King of Morainia to use as hostage to get the crystals.

Episode 22 - Things That Go Bump in the Night

Glitch, a fearful young man who had teamed up with Skeletor hoping to gain courage, is thrown out of Snake Mountain and befriended by the Eternians. Complication sets in when Glitch's father arrives in a warship and Skeletor tricks him into believing that the King stole his son.

Episode 23 - Three on a Dare

Teela goes on a field trip with three students, and two of the kids dare the third to fly Teela's Wind Raider when she is not there. They fly too far and are captured by Skeletor, who also captured Teela.

Episode 24 - Just a Little Lie

Orko, wanting to impress the visiting Prince Dal, lies about a worthless lump of rock, telling Dal the rock will make its owner invincible. Orko then must tell one lie after another to cover up the first.

Episode 25 - One for All

A crew of evil Space Pirates attacks a small village, intent on stealing all their food. Adam's sword is taken by the pirates, so he cannot become He-Man, but instead must organize the frightened villagers into helping themselves by working together in clever ways.

Episode 26 - Jacob and the Widgets

He-Man saves Jacob, an old hermit, from one of Mer-Man's mechanical monsters. The Widgets take Jacob in and care for him, showing the old hermit that people really care about others.

Episode 27 - The Littlest Giant

The Widget Squinch wants to be big, so he goes to Snake Mountain to ask Skeletor to use his magic to accomplish this. Instead Evil Lyn cons the Widget into giving He-Man a magical box that will trap him.

Episode 28 - Trouble's Middle Name

As Negator attempts to capture the power of the SunStone, heart of the Temple of the Sun, He-Man and the rest must contend with the interference of the Prankster, an interdimensional practical joker from Orko's home world.

Episode 29 - Journey to Stone City

In order to revive his people from their thousand year stony sleep, Vokan, Keeper of the Temple, must regain his LifeBringer. But Evil Lyn and Webstor tricks Vokan into thinking that He-Man has stolen it (when they did it themselves), and use him in an attempt to gain the treasures of Castle Grayskull.

Episode 30 - A Bird in the Hand

Orko and Stanlon accidentally break a valuable statuette belonging to Melaktha, the Royal Archaeologist. The broken statuette reveals a map leading to a magical book of great power. Orko, Stanlon, and Adam go after the book, with Skeletor hot on their heels.

Episode 31 - Battlecat

A retrospect adventure in which we learn how Adam first found Cringer and how Cringer became the mighty Battlecat.

Episode 32 - The Time Wheel

While seeking shelter from a storm, Orko and He-Man stumble upon an ancient Sylcon laboratory. During their search of it, Orko accidentally sets a Time Wheel in motion which transports Tamust, an ancient barbarian King of Eternia, from his own time.

Episode 33 - Search for the Past

Searching for his father, King Miro, King Randor is captured by his father's captor, the Enchantress. He-Man must rescue his father from the dungeons of the Enchantress and his grandfather from Lost Mountain, a floating mountain top.

Episode 34 - Hunt Of He-Man

Adam and Cringer are shot down by Skeletor and crash into the Misty Swamp. Adam becomes He-Man, but swallows some poisonous swamp water and becomes ill before he can transform Cringer into Battlecat. It is then up to Cringer to use his intelligence to foil Skeletor and his henchmen and find a cure for He-Man.

Episode 35 - Greatest Show on Eternia

Skeletor captures Crackers the clown, owner of the Eternian circus, and spirits him away to Echo Valley. He-Man goes after Crackers, but while he is away Skeletor takes control of circus and refuses to allow it to perform for the eager citizens.

Episode 36 - Not So Blind

While on an outing with a blind boy named Loos, He-Man and Ram Man are blinded by a bright flash. Our heroes must depend on the developed senses of the boy to find their way to safety.

Episode 37 - Revenge is Never Sweet

Kothos, an evil sorcerer who was turned into a sand slug by Evil Lyn, is inadvertently restored to his human for by Orko. Kothos immediately embarks on a plan to get his revenge. He captures He-Man and offers to trade him to Skeletor for Evil Lyn.

Episode 38 - The Good Shall Survive

A band of wasp-like creatures, the Tycons, revive from their long hibernation to raid the honey reserves of Buzz Off and his people, and then move on to threaten the food supply of the capitol itself.

Episode 39 - The Secret of Grayskull

Orko is depressed because he thinks his friends are angry with him. Skeletor, disguised as a genie, convinces Orko to leave Eternia, but the Sorceress intercepts him and shows Orko scenes from his past that show how much his friends really do care for him.

Episode 40 - No Job Too Small

Adam, Man-At-Arms, Teela and Orko are attacked by creatures sent by Evil Lyn. Adam becomes He-Man to hold the creatures off, but the others are captured, taken to Snake Mountain, and reduced to a height of seven inches. Seeing he cannot prevail as He-Man, he changes back to Adam hoping to accomplish by cleverness what he could not by strength.

Episode 41 - The Bitter Rose

Orko, depressed that his gifts to his girlfriend Dree Elle are not good enough, seeks out the most perfect rose around, the fabled Bitter Rose. But when he plucks it from Rose Mountain, he finds that the mountain itself begins to fall apart.

Episode 42 - The Gambler

Smudge, a Widget miner of Coridite, is tricked into giving the evil Melbrag a large amount of the dangerous ore while another batch, contaminated, threatens to destroy the very planet itself.

Episode 43 - Teela's Triumph

The Sorceress is sent to another dimension by Skeletor, and Teela must take her place as defender of Grayskull. He-Man goes to Snake Mountain to confront Skeletor, only to be transported to the same dimension as the Sorceress. Rid of his greatest enemy, Skeletor sets out to conquer Grayskull.

Episode 44 - Orko's New Friend

Squonge, a friend of Orko’s who has a habit of making up stories, comes to visit. He and Orko are captured by Slavemaster, an intergalactic criminal, and He-Man must allow himself to be captured to save them.

Episode 45 - The Problem with Power

In yet another scheme to defeat He-Man, Skeletor lays a clever trap in which he makes He-Man believe he has killed an innocent peasant. Thoroughly depressed over the supposed killing, He-Man transforms back to Adam and tosses the Power Sword into the great abyss around Grayskull.

Episode 46 - Double Trouble

Skeletor uses the Mirror of Moravad to create an evil double of Kol Darr, He-Man’s ally, in an attempt to get the double into Castle Grayskull and steal the secrets of Grayskull. But matters take a turn for the weird when Skeletor accidentally creates a good version of himself!

Episode 47 - The Eternia Flower

The sinister Count Marzo possesses evil flowers which affect the mind. He plans to use these flowers to corrupt the youth of Eternia and make them into an army he can use to usurp King Randor.

Episode 48 - Happy Birthday Roboto

Man-At-Arms and Adam find a crashed spaceship and discover that its pilot is a badly damaged robot. Man-At-Arms repairs the friendly robot, who is then captured by the villain Modulok.

Episode 49 - Battle of the Dragons

During the anniversary celebrating the treaty between Dragons and Men, one of the dragons, Morningstar, steals Granamyr’s fire and puts the blame on humans in his quest to start a war between the two sides. He-Man and the rest must locate and return Granamyr’s fire in time to prevent the war.

Episode 50 - Time Doesn't Fly

The evil wizard Hezon takes Time hostage, stopping time so that he may be installed as King of Simbar. He-Man must find the true King and rescue him, as well as the Keeper of Time, and somehow start Time moving again.

Episode 51 - Here, There, Skeletors Everywhere

Skeletor steals Man-At-Arms’ duplicating machine and makes half-size copies of himself. An army of Skeletoids takes over the Royal Palace, and He-Man, Teela, and Mekaneck are all that stand in the way of Eternia’s downfall.

Episode 52 - Beauty and the Beast

Skeletor captures Teela and Orko and has them held prisoner by the Monster of Moragore. Skeletor has placed a curse on the Monster and threatens to do the same to all of his people if he doesn’t do the villain’s bidding. He-Man comes to the rescue and Teela shows the Monster that it’s not how you look that makes a monster, but how you act.

Episode 53 - Orko's Return

Trapjaw and Beastman kidnap Orko with the powerful magic of the Amber Crystal of Millarca, an amulet stolen from the Polti, an ancient warrior ant race. He-Man and friends, determined to get Orko back, must journey to the Valley of the Polti for help.

Episode 54 - Visitors from Earth

Colonel Blaze and Major Steele, astronauts from Earth, crash on Eternia. Blaze and the ship, containing a powerful missile, fall into Skeletor’s clutches, while Major Steele is rescued by our heroes. He-Man must rescue Blaze, retrieve the missile, and assist the astronauts with their mission -- to destroy a giant meteor on a collision course with Earth.

Episode 55 - The Monster on the Mountain

A tiny Eternian village lives in terror of the Tingler, who no one has actually seen, but about whom terrible rumors fly. The Tingler is revealed to be a very gentle man when he saves the village from itself.

Episode 56 - The Magic Falls

Skeletor removes Orko’s powers of magic to prevent him from foiling one of Skeletor’s plots. Orko is forced to travel with He-Man to find the legendary Magic Waterfalls where he can restore his magic.

Episode 57 - Search for a Son

Mekaneck discovers that his long lost son, Philip is in the hands of Count Marzo, who confronts him with a choice: the boy for the King and Queen.

Episode 58 - Mistaken Identity

A young Eternian attempts to impress his girlfriend by convincing her that he’s secretly He-Man. But he gets more than he bargained for when someone else also believes him -- He-Man’s enemy, Modulok.

Episode 59 - The Toymaker

Toymaker flatters Orko and gives him magic toys which Orko brings to Man-At-Arms who is then kidnapped by them. He-Man and friends must track the toys through the Valley of Echoes to Snake Mountain...and Skeletor.

Episode 60 - The Bargain with Evil

Lady Arvela agrees to show the Starchild to the evil Angast if he’ll free her father, Landros the Magician. To do it, she uses her magic powers and snatches the child from King Randor’s Royal Palace. He-Man, Orko, and Bowena, the child’s bodyguard, go after her. Angast goes back on his word and take Arvela, the Starchild, and her would-be rescuers prisoner.

Episode 61 - Capture the Comet Keeper

Skeletor kidnaps Zagraz and tries to make him use his comets to break into Castle Grayskull. Zagraz refuses, but without his supervision the comets run wild, causing tidal waves, avalanches, and windstorms. He-Man and Teela must deal with the comets and save Zagraz before all Eternia is destroyed.

Episode 62 - The Ancient Mirror of Avathar

When Opie, son of lighthouse keeper Angus Og, is left in charge of the lighthouse, he becomes bored with the job and leaves his post. Because of Opie’s negligence, the lighthouse beacon malfunctions, and He-Man must save a ship caught in a storm at sea.

Episode 63 - The Games

The Bendari, an alien race, set up a game on Eternia in order to determine which is the stronger, good or evil -- concepts with which they are unfamiliar. He-Man must win out over Spikor in spite of the fact that Spikor is cheating and receiving considerable help from Skeletor’s gang.

Episode 64 - To Save the Creatures

Skeletor and his inventor Maddock try to ruin Randor’s birthday party by driving animals berserk with the Anger Beam and Animal Digitazer. Young Rikki, whose parents run the Animal Sanctuary, helps He-Man and friends stop Skeletor before he can do more damage.

Episode 65 - The Cold Zone

Kobra Kahn enlists the help of He-Man and his pals to help his snake-like people. Their Eternal Flame has gone out, and if it is not restored soon, they will go into perpetual hibernation. But it turns out to be a trap, and He-Man et al must prove that Kobra Kahn is framing them for the flame’s extinction.

Episode 101 - He-Man & She-Ra: The Secret of the Sword

Prince Adam is sent to the world of Etheria to find his long abducted sister, Adora, and awaken her to her own destiny.

Episode 102 - He-Man & She-Ra: A Christmas Special

He-Man and She-Ra join together to stop Horde Prime from ruining Christmas for some Earth children stranded on Eternia.
