Episode 1 - First Aid

The Inspector insists that busmen learn First Aid and take a proficiency exam. Enlisting the help of his mum and brother-in-law, Stan scrapes through the test with his conductor Jack. But en-route to the Cemetery Gates how will they cope with a real emergency?
Episode 2 - The Cistern

The water closet in the smallest room of the Butler household is possibly the noisiest in London. Its nocturnal gurgling and clanging wakes even the most determined sleeper and disturbs the whole neighbourhood. Stan decides to fix it and the fun really starts when he has to assume the role of a do-it-yourself plumber.
Episode 3 - The Inspector's Niece

A pretty new girl starts at the depot and catches the attention of all the men. However, she's keeping a secret and when the men find out what it is they might not be so keen.
Episode 4 - Brew It Yourself

When Jack persuades Stan to take up brewing beer at home the rest of the family shows little interest. Once the beer is flowing it has a romantic influence on Olive and Arthur, Mum starts to sway and Stan is drunk for work!
Episode 5 - Busmen's Perks

Every job has its perks and working on the buses is no exception. Arthur and Olive decide to redecorate their room and Stan offers to supply the paint. By a strange coincidence, it seems to match the colour of the buses exactly.
Episode 6 - The Snake

The Indian busmen hold a social evening at the depot canteen and the entertainment includes an attractive snake dancer - with an eight foot boa constrictor!
Episode 7 - Mum's Last Fling

Mum gains a new man and her hem lines rapidly reduce, much to the horror of Stan and Arthur!
Episode 8 - Radio Control

It's quicker by bus except when it's the No. 11 to the cemetery gates with Stan and his conductor Jack. The Inspector installs a two-way radio in their cab - should he believe all he hears?
Episode 9 - Foggy Night

When freezing fog blankets the Home Counties and visibility is nil Stan has to pull off the road. The fact that Mum, Arthur, Olive and the Inspector are on the bus does nothing to relieve the pressure!
Episode 10 - The New Uniforms

The Luxton Bus Company decide to improve their image and issue new-style uniforms. Stan and Jack - the scruffiest crew in the depot - are chosen to try them out. The new uniforms have an unforeseen effect on the opposite sex!
Episode 11 - Going Steady

Stan has been going steady with Sally, an attractive clippie. The misadventures continue, as she is also the Inspector's niece!
Episode 12 - The Squeeze

Desperate measures are called for when the cost of living squeeze hits Stan's family. Stan investigates ways of increasing his income and decides to sell some of his assets to the Inspector.
Episode 13 - On the Make

Edna the clippie has been thrown out of her house and Stan persuades his family to take her in as a lodger. But his intentions are not entirely honourable, as he hopes that it might bring them closer. Unfortunately for Stan, Edna also brings Coco - her Great Dane!
