Episode 1 - Nowhere to GoWhen driver Stan and his conductor Jack return to the depot after the late shift the pubs and parks are closed. So with nowhere to take their girls they may have to resort to behind, or on, the back seat of a bus. Will they elude the ever vigilant Inspector?

Episode 2 - The Canteen GirlStan and Jack are very surprised when they find the Inspector is taking out the flighty canteen girl. When he decides to marry her and retire to the country to raise chickens they are delighted. The arrival of the new Inspector means that their pleasure is short-lived.

Episode 3 - Dangerous DrivingStan Butler's problem is weighing him down. He has never considered his work particularly dangerous until his conductor Jack reads about the high mortality rate of overweight busmen. When he decides to do something about it, everybody seems to be on hand with slimming advice!

Episode 4 - The Other WomanOlive is furious when she discovers Arthur paying attention to one of the attractive clippies at Stan's bus depot. She orders Arthur out of the house. Much to her annoyance, and absolute amazement, he goes! Stan and Mum are left with the difficult job of reconciliation.

Episode 5 - Christmas DutySitcom about a chirpy bus driver and his conductor pal. It's Christmas Eve, and Stan and Jack are looking forward to the holiday season - until they are told that they must provide cover for a sick colleague.

Episode 6 - The 'L' BusStan and Jack are put in charge of the 'learners' bus. Stan uses the new staff to his own advantage by getting them to help with a new bed for Olive and Arthur.

Episode 7 - The Kids OutingStan and Jack find themselves enlisted to take a group of children on their annual outing.

Episode 8 - The AnniversaryA happy occasion takes place in the Butler household when Stan and the family celebrate Olive and Arthur's 10th wedding anniversary.

Episode 9 - Cover UpTimes are hard and Stan has been forced to work extra overtime to make ends meet. Then mum decides she can no longer put up with the disgraceful state of her upholstery. Stan offers to re-cover the chairs with the material used for bus seats! First he must smuggle some out of the depot, under the nose of the ever vigilant inspector.

Episode 11 - The LodgerThis episode opens with a distinctly topical theme as Stan and Jack join the Inspector in grappling with the problems of decimalisation. The Luxton and District Traction Company's canteen has been decimalised a few days before D Day. Stan has a plan to help his family cope with inflation - he decides to take in a lodger. The newcomer soon makes himself more comfortable than Stan would like!

Episode 12 - The InjuryOne of the most enduring of British sitcoms, about a chirpy driver and his conductor pal who torment the long-suffering inspector of the Luxton Bus Company. When Stan and Olive take a tumble into the bathtub, it is Stan who comes off worse.
