Season 1 Episode Guide
Episode 1 - Pilot"Starsky and Hutch" is a dynamic new police drama series about a pair of young plainclothes cops. David Soul stars as the soft-spoken Ken 'Hutch' Hutchinson and Paul Michael Glaser is the irrepressible Dave Starsky. Bernie Hamilton also stars as quick-tempered Captain Harold Dobey and Antonio Fargas is Huggy Bear, friend and confidante of the two cops. In the first episode, ""Savage Sunday"", Starsky and Hutch discover that a car used as the getaway vehicle in a hold-up belongs to Sarah and Henny Wilson, an elderly couple living in a retirement home. The Wilsons didn’t report the car stolen because it is rigged with 200 pounds of dynamite, set to explode at 5.00 pm. They wanted to blow it up outside the courthouse to call attention to the poor living conditions of older people. Meanwhile, two homicidal robbers repaint the car to use on a Sunday afternoon crime spree. Huggy Bear helps the cops find the location of the car, but it is hidden among thousands parked at an amphitheatre."

Episode 2 - Savage SundayDetectives Starsky and Hutch spend a frenzied Sunday afternoon in pursuit of two homicidal robbers who don't know their stolen car contains a powerful time bomb set to explode later that day.

Episode 3 - Texas LonghornWhen the wife of a famous used-car tycoon is slain by a pair of crazed drug addicts, Starsky and Hutch have to move fast to catch the killers before the agonized widower takes the law into his own hands.

Episode 4 - Death RideStarsky and Hutch are pursued by killers whilst driving from San Francisco with the daughter of a crime czar. The czar will reveal all when the girl arrives, but the killers will stop at nothing to prevent them from surviving the journey.

Episode 5 - Snow StormA million dollars worth of pure cocaine is missing after a huge drug bust. Starsky and Hutch are accused of "going into business" by a narcotics kingpin and by members of the police.

Episode 6 - The FixStarsky goes on a frantic hunt for Hutch, who has been abducted, held captive and ""strung out"" on heroin by a jealous mobster whose ex-girlfriend has become romantically involved with Hutch. *Contains scenes of drug consumption.*

Episode 7 - Death NoticeStrippers Ginger and Sonja are murdered after receiving a series of warning notes from a timid man who claims to have listened in on the killers' phone calls.

Episode 8 - PariahAfter shooting a homicidal youth, Starsky is put under heavy pressure when two policemen are executed by a man who warns that other cops will die unless Starsky is punished.

Episode 9 - Kill Huggy BearStarsky and Hutch's confidant, Huggy Bear, is marked for death after being robbed of the fortune he had promised to return to a merciless numbers racketeer.

Episode 10 - The BaitDressed as flashy hustlers and using a beautiful blonde as bait, Starsky and Hutch pose as well-heeled heroin dealers to climb the underworld ladder and nail a big time heroin supplier.

Episode 11 - Lady BlueStarsky and Hutch investigate the murder of a beautiful police officer who left the force to become a go-go dancer in a sleazy dive after the end of a romance with Starsky.

Episode 12 - Captain Dobey, You're DeadA corrupt, bigoted industrialist orders an escaped convict to kill Captain Dobey. The convict also happens to be a crooked ex-cop sent to prison as the result of an investigation by Dobey.

Episode 13 - Terror On the DocksStarsky and Hutch try to nail a dock worker who killed an undercover policeman. They also help out with the wedding plans of Hutch's "adopted kid sister," who is about to marry the leader of a gang involved in a series of waterfront heists.

Episode 14 - The Deadly ImposterStarsky and Hutch agree to help a long-lost buddy who wants to locate his son by former marriage. However, they are unaware that their friend has become a professional killer with a contract to execute his ex-wife's present husband.

Episode 15 - ShootoutWhen Starsky and Hutch drop into an all-night restaurant, they are seized by two gangland executioners awaiting the arrival of their target, a syndicate chieftain.

Episode 16 - The HostagesStarsky and Hutch try to save the lives of a young armored car driver and his captive wife, both of whom will be killed after a fortune in cash has been delivered.

Episode 17 - Losing StreakA down-on-his-luck musician runs into trouble with hoodlums when he accidentally steals $2,000 to pay off a debt. Unfortunately, the money is counterfeit and the thugs want it back.

Episode 18 - SilenceA halfway house for ex-convicts becomes the setting for an elaborate frame-up involving an imposter priest and a deaf mute.

Episode 19 - The Omaha TigerThe financial success of a popular young wrestler causes greedy in-fighting which results in a triple murder. Investigating the deaths, Hutch ends up wrestling “The Omaha Tiger”, calling on all his previous wrestling experience.

Episode 20 - JoJoA rapist is arrested by Starsky and Hutch, but is released by the FBI when he promises to give them information about a drugs ring. When he is murdered before he can tell them anything, the evidence points to one of his rape victims.

Episode 21 - RunningAn alcoholic woman, who was at school with Starsky, is the only witness who can indentify a notorious murderer. Risking his career, Starsky hides her in his apartment to help her dry out and put her life together again.

Episode 22 - A Coffin for StarskyStarsky is forcibly awakened one night and injected with a lethal poison which will kill him in 24 hours. He and Hutch have to find the antidote in time, but in order to identify the poison they need the would-be killer.

Episode 23 - The Bounty HunterA man jumps bail to escape prison and immediately finds a bounty hunter on his trail, along with an extortionist bail bondsman and her accomplice. Starsky and Hutch have to find the man first, before he is killed.
