Episode 1 - Arrival

Following the death of their nonagenarian vicar, Dibley's Parish Council is awaiting his replacement. To their surprise - and the horror of Chairman David Horton - their new man turns out to be a woman: Geraldine!

           

Episode 2 - Songs of Praise

Songs of Praise are coming to film Dibley and its new female vicar. Unfortunately for Geraldine, the producer turns out to be devastatingly attractive - and Alice, who's reading the lesson, continues to be devastatingly below par on the brains front.

           

Episode 3 - Community Spirit

Geraldine takes on the organisation of the annual Autumn Fair and promises a more celebrated featured guest than last year after Alice lets slip that her cousin is Reg Dwight. And everyone knows that Elton John's real name is…

           

Episode 4 - The Window and the Weather

St Barnabas' Church finds itself in need of a new stained-glass window after Dibley is hit by a hurricane. The problem is, no one can remember what was on the old window.

           

Episode 5 - Election

David has been the Councillor in a safe Tory seat for many years. But when Geraldine becomes concerned that not enough has been done for his constituency, David finds he now has a village that is prepared to vote for the Vicar.

           

Episode 6 - Animals

Geraldine plans to hold a special service of blessing in St Barnabas for all the animals of the village. David is convinced it will fail - will all the animals be properly house-trained while in church?

           

Episode 7 - Easter Special: 1996

It's Easter in Dibley and the Villagers have all given up something for Lent. Mrs Cropley makes the difficult decision to forgo lard and fishpaste pancakes.

        

Episode 8 - Christmas Special: 1996

Christmas is coming in Dibley and Geraldine is having problems, not only with her sermon, but also with multiple invitations to Christmas lunch from the parishioners.
