Mark Duplass (Actor) .. Pete
Born: December 07, 1976 in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States
Trivia: Louisiana native Mark Duplass paid his dues both behind and in front of the camera, writing, producing, directing, and starring in a number of films throughout the early 2000s, like The New Brad and This is John. Duplass' efforts began capturing wider attention with 2008's The Puffy Chair and 2009's Baghead, which garnered some critical buzz on the festival circuit. The filmmaker's star climbed even higher in 2010, when he received critical acclaim for his next project, an uncomfortable comedy called Cyrus, starring Jonah Hill, Marisa Tomei, and John C. Reilly. Simultaneously, Duplass made a successful six-episode run as an actor on the comedy series The League, as well as in fellow indie filmmaker Noah Baumbach's 2010 dramedy Greenberg.
Stephen Rannazzisi (Actor) .. Kevin
Born: July 04, 1978 in Smithtown, New York, United States
Trivia: Started acting in high school when, after being injured while playing sports, he auditioned for a play just to have something to do. Has appeared in numerous theatrical productions, including A Christmas Carol, Damn Yankees, Pippin and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Worked as a doorman at Los Angeles' The Comedy Store club, where he eventually began performing stand-up. Studied improvisational acting at the Groundlings School in Los Angeles for several years. Appeared in several episodes of Ashton Kutcher's MTV hidden-camera series Punk'd. Was a fantasy football player prior to starring on The League, and started an off-camera league with the show's cast and crew. Has said he probably would have become a police officer in New York if he hadn't gone into acting.
Nick Kroll (Actor) .. Ruxin
Born: June 05, 1978 in New York, United States
Trivia: Comedian Nick Kroll came up through the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in both New York and LA, before infultrating the world of stand up and sketch comedy, and becommning a writer for Chapelle's Show and Human Giant. The Georgetown allumni would go on to appear on VH1 series like I Love the 80's, as well as in sit-coms like Worst Week, Reno 911, The League, and the Life and Times of Tim, in addition to movies like I Love You, Man.
Paul Scheer (Actor) .. Andre
Born: January 31, 1976 in Huntingdon, New York, United States
Trivia: The slightly diminutive and gap-toothed comedian Paul Scheer burst onto the scene in the early 2000s as a standup comic and producer of television specials, usually for the stations HBO and Comedy Central. Scheer also appeared frequently on the VH1 program Best Week Ever and guested as an occasional commentator on NBC's seminal Today Show. He is best known, however, for his acting and writing collaborations with fellow schtickmeisters Rob Huebel and Aziz Ansari, with whom he developed, produced, wrote, and appeared in Human Giant. Culling inspiration from such sources as Saturday Night Live, The State, and MADtv, this consistently irreverent collection of outrageous and bawdy comedy sketches reeled in a sizeable audience when it premiered in 2007. Scheer also appeared in the 2006 Billy Bob Thornton comedy School for Scoundrels. In addition to parts in Meet Dave, Bride Wars, and Piranha, Scheer co-hosts the movie-related podcast How Did This Get Made?
Jon LaJoie (Actor) .. Taco
Born: August 21, 1980 in Saint-Hubert, Quebec, Canada
Trivia: Has eight siblings. Is a self-taught musician. Was the lead singer and songwriter of a band for four years before transitioning to comedy. Originally gained fame through YouTube comedy videos, which accumulated more than 200 million total views.
Katie Aselton (Actor) .. Jenny
Born: October 01, 1978 in Milbridge, Maine, United States
Trivia: Was named Miss Teen Maine and first-runner-up Miss Teen USA in 1995. Got her start in the film industry through the "mumblecore" movement, which described a series of low-budget American films that were produced in the early 2000s. Her directorial debut, The Freebie, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010.
Nadine Velazquez (Actor) .. Sofia
Born: November 20, 1978 in Chicago, Illinois, United States
Trivia: A one-time gymnast hopeful who only gained the courage to try acting after a pep talk from a friendly Chicago talent agent, My Name Is Earl star Nadine Velazquez nearly left her dreams behind in favor of a more "sensible" career in marketing. Thankfully for her many fans, Velazquez accepted a part-time position at a well-known Windy City talent agency in order to pay her tuition at Columbia College and a healthy commercial career was quick to follow. Though Velazquez eventually received her B.A. in marketing from Columbia, the silver screen was calling and it was finally time to test her luck in Los Angeles. Upon arriving in Hollywood, the up-and-coming actress soon landed parts in both film and television (Biker Boyz and The Bold and the Beautiful). While supporting roles on such shows as Entourage and Las Vegas would serve well to familiarize viewers with Velazquez, it was her recurring role as sexy hotel maid Catalina on My Name Is Earl that proved her true small-screen breakthrough. In 2007, Velazquez found herself in the middle of a sizeable escalation when she signed on to appear opposite Jet Li and Jason Statham in the explosive action thriller War.
