Episode 1 - Episode 1June's life collapses when she becomes the victim of a cold-call scam and loses all the money from the sale of her house. She reconnects with Des, an old flame, who claims he can get her money back from the person responsible: Kirk Wiley, a respected local businessman.

Episode 2 - Episode 2Des proposes that June break into Kirk's office to find proof and also agrees to plant a dementia tracker on Kirk so Des can follow him. June grows closer with Kirk's daughter Lizzie, helping her to plan her wedding. She finally believes Kirks is responsible when she comes face-to-face with her cold caller, Aubrey, in the house. Des blackmails Kirk and warns June she is in danger.

Episode 3 - Episode 3Kirk agrees to Des's demands but tracks the money. Aubrey finds the blackmailer and follows him to June’s daughter, Hana. June keeps her cover at Wiley’s and befriends Kirk's wife in order to manipulate his home life. At the rehearsal dinner, June does something drastic.

Episode 4 - Episode 4June hides Elisabeth at her old care home and tries to convince Hana to run. She begs Des to help but realizes he has his own agenda. Kirk wants to continue with the wedding even without his mother, but he begins to unravel.
