Episode 1 - HomelandsNow the Superintendent of the Durham police precinct, Mike Sweeney is on a new task force investigating the gruesome murders of two young drug runners. He quickly forms a bond with new addition and ex military cop, Ivan Sujic, who is hiding a dangerous secret. When the case heats up, Sadie, who is about to graduate from the police academy, is put on the case undercover.

Episode 2 - Family DayIvan is brought in for questioning about the mysterious disappearance of his wife and Mike, who suspects a Chinese gang is to blame for the recent murders, learns Ivan’s brother-in-law, Miro, may be connected to the crimes as well. Meanwhile, Sadie is taken off the case when she doesn’t follow orders.

Episode 3 - Distance, Hunting and HomeMike believes Miro is involved in a gang war with the Chinese when an informant turns up dead. Sadie is put back on the case and goes undercover to get more information on the gangs. Back at the Sweeney house, Ivan unexpectedly arrives as Audrey suddenly goes into labour and Mike turns to Eva in a time of need.

Episode 4 - SurvivorsMike struggles to keep it together for his family as he sets up a plan to take down the Chinese using Ivan’s connections. Sadie manages to escape a dangerous situation with the gang leader and delivers important information to the cops about a shipment of meth. Ray Jr. comes clean to Mike about his relationship with Sadie and Miro continues to manipulate Ivan.

Episode 5 - The World EndsAs the Sweeneys drift further apart, Maddie appoints Ivan godfather of new baby Charlie. Ivan turns the tables on Miro by planting evidence in his car and Sadie must cover her tracks when she loses her balance on the job. When Mike turns up at Ivan’s after a traumatic day, the two share more than a few drinks and Ivan begins to unravel.

Episode 6 - SanctuaryMike shares some shocking news about Ivan with his team at the station. Ivan is forced to co-operate with Miro in order to save Eva’s life as the cops raid the house for evidence. Sabina helps keep a secret to protect Sadie, who is moving forward with Ray Jr. and Mike finally discovers the truth about Ivan’s wife.
