Episode 1 - Expectations

Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) tempers high expectations for East Dillons impending season as Tami (Connie Britton) becomes frustrated in her new job. Meanwhile Vince (Michael B. Jordan) and Luke (Matt Lauria) work to recruit a new player for the Lions squad and Dillon bids farewell to two alumni as they prepare to leave for college. Aimee Teegarden, Jurnee Smollett, Grey Damon and Madison Burge also star.

  

Episode 2 - On the Outside Looking In

Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) finds out not everyone is pleased by the Lions' strong showing in their season opening game. Vince (Michael B. Jordan) realizes his newfound football stardom comes with benefits, while Luke (Matt Lauria) faces consequences for his aggressive play and Tami (Connie Britton) tries to implement an after-school tutoring program. Episode 3 - The Right Hand of the Father

When an embarrassing video, shot at a rowdy football party, circulates and mars the Lions' reputation, and Coach (Kyle Chandler) struggles to impose discipline on his players. A connection unexpectedly forged at college leaves Julie (Aimee Teegarden) feeling even more isolated than ever.

Rivalry week stirs up controversy when a website makes an embarrassing disclosure about the Lions' players. Vince (Michael B. Jordan) finds himself in the middle of a power struggle between Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) and his father (guest star Cress Williams).

  

Episode 8 - Fracture

Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) fears he is beginning to lose his grip on the team when Vince (Michael B. Jordan) alienates his teammates through his arrogance. Meanwhile, Tami (Connie Britton) worries that one of her students is being neglected at home.

Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) threatens to suspend Vince (Michael B. Jordan) in an attempt to regain control of the team and leaves Luke (Matt Lauria) facing mounting pressure at the prospect of becoming top quarterback.

Episode 11 - The March

Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) feels threatened as East Dillon faces serious budget cuts and Tami (Connie Britton) is flown to Pennsylvania for the opportunity of a lifetime. Meanwhile, the Lions begin their quest for State.

  

Episode 12 - Texas Whatever

Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) is offered a deal he can't refuse and Tim (guest star Taylor Kitsch) assesses his future plans when an old flame returns to Dillon. Meanwhile, the fate of East Dillon's football program is decided.

  

Episode 13 - Always

The Lions prepare for State while the Taylors face several decisions that could change their lives forever. Elsewhere, Coach (Kyle Chandler) and Tami (Connie Britton) are caught off guard by Julie's (Aimee Teegarden) future plans.
