Episode 2 - Do You Know About The Cold WarCarolyn jumps into the deep end of the figure skating world to explore her own unique choreographing style in preparation for working with Olympic greats Ekaterina Gordeeva and David Pelletier, all the while trying to get permission to use the song “I Have Nothing.” |
Episode 3 - Love Is PainCarolyn squeezes a lifetime of skating knowledge into a very short amount of time by working with skating royalty Brian Orser, Kurt Browning, and Barbara Underhill and Paul Martini. Meanwhile, she continues to chase permission for “I Have Nothing” and comes up with an ambitious and creative fall-back plan just in case. |
Episode 4 - No Longer A JokeCarolyn shares her stand-up inspired take on choreography with Ekaterina Gordeeva and David Pelletier and struggles to communicate what she wants. With help from a coaching expert, she tries to stay true to her improv background while balancing the need to get specific and nail down a few steps of her routine. |
Episode 5 - Today is WednesdayCarolyn struggles to hold onto the original spirit of her routine and doesn’t know how to ask for what she wants. With two days left to choreograph the routine, she tries to sell Ekaterina and David on a theatrical version of a gold medal move before they leave town. The pressure is on as the final skate in front of a live audience – including skating legends – is only a short time away. |
Episode 6 - Buffoon Makes GoodIn the season finale, Carolyn’s dream becomes reality as everything from costumes to lighting needs to get nailed down before a star-studded audience arrives for the final skate. Carolyn wonders if her Olympic muse slash high school crush will actually show up and an eleventh-hour phone call ensures that the show will go on. |
