Episode 1 - Chapter Eighty-TwoJane (Gina Rodriguez) makes a shocking discovery and looks to Rafael (Justin Baldoni) for answers but is confused by his decision to put everything he and Jane have on hold. Meanwhile, Petra (Yael Grobglas) is trying to secure a future with the hope of it being with JR (guest star Rosario Dawson), but her past might jeopardize everything. Jaime Camil, Andrea Navedo and Ivonne Coll also star.

Episode 2 - Chapter Eighty-ThreeWith Jane’s (Gina Rodriguez) Catholic guilt starting to settle in, she turns to Alba for advice and gets an unexpected answer. Luisa (guest star Yara Martinez) decides to go see Rose (guest star Bridget Regan) with Rafael (Justin Baldoni) by her side, in order to helpget answers. Meanwhile, Rogelio (Jaime Camil) is back to work with River (guest star Brooke Shields), but a power struggle ensues between the two and Xo (Andrea Navedo) might be the solution they have been looking for.

Episode 3 - Chapter Eighty-FourJane must get over the newest hurdle in her life, which proves to be harder than she and Rafael would have hoped. Rogelio discovers that he and River are not as equal as he thought. Meanwhile, Jane and Petra must deal with the children not getting along with each other, which in turn brings up issues of how Petra and Jane feel about each other.

Episode 4 - Chapter Eighty-FiveAfter talking to everyone else about what is going on in her life, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) turns to Petra (Yael Grobglas), who she knows will give her a straight answer. In return, Petra leans on Jane for advice about JR (guest star Rosario Dawson). Xo (Andrea Navedo) is determined to be at grandparents’ day for Mateo but still has one more chemo treatment. Meanwhile, Alba (Ivonne Coll) is getting mixed messages from Jorge (guest star Alfonso DiLuca) about their relationship.

Episode 5 - Chapter Eighty-SixWith everything that has been going on, reluctantly agrees to let Rogelio throw her a big 30th birthday party. Jane's mentor gives her some important advice that may help her start writing again. Meanwhile, Petra thinks she and JR (guest star Rosario Dawson) are finally in a good place, until she realizes that JR might see things differently.

Episode 6 - Chapter Eighty-SevenJane struggles with giving Rafael his space after she discovers that he is hiding a secret. Jane and Michael uncover clues about what happened the day he "died." Petra wants to fit into JR's world and enlists Jane's help. After a few attempts to get back into the groove, Xo and Rogelio work together to try and find a new normal. Meanwhile, Alba confesses her feelings about Jorge.

Episode 7 - Chapter Eighty-EightJane (Gina Rodriguez) is trying to go with the flow, so when Michael (guest star Brett Dier) makes a suggestion to Jane which takes her out of her comfort zone, Jane decides to go for it. Jane struggles to adjust while Michael slides back into his old life. Meanwhile, Jane struggles with her feelings for Rafael (Justin Baldoni). Andrea Navedo, Ivonne Coll, Jaime Cami and Yael Grobglas also star.

Episode 8 - Chapter Eighty-NineJane (Gina Rodriguez) is having a hard time dealing with Rafael (Justin Baldoni) avoiding her, so when an issue with Mateo comes up she uses it to get some face time. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) turns to Jane for help when he learns his pilot is in trouble. Alba (Ivonne Coll) and Jorge (guest star Alfonso DiLuca) enlist Xo’s (Andrea Navedo) help to study for their upcoming immigration test. Meanwhile, Petra (Yael Grobglas) finally gets to the bottom of who has been terrorizing her.

Episode 9 - Chapter NinetyWhen Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Rogelio (Jaime Camil) join forces to pitch a pilot, Jane is excited until she discovers a secret about her book being published. Alba (Ivonne Coll) and Jorge (guest star Alfonso DiLuca) make an important decision about their future together. Rafael (Justin Baldoni) asks Jane to allow Luisa (guest star Yara Martinez) to meet Mateo, but she is unsure of her decision. Meanwhile, Petra (Yael Grobglas) and JR’s (guest star Rosario Dawson) relationship is once again tested.

Episode 10 - Chapter Ninety-OneWhen Rogelio (Jaime Camil) tells Jane (Gina Rodriguez) that the network wants her to write the script for their telenovela, at first she is excited, but begins to struggle balancing her time between that and her novel. Rafael (Justin Baldoni) is furious with Jane after she makes a medical appointment that he doesn’t agree with behind his back. Meanwhile, Petra (Yael Grobglas) tries to be positive about their relationship when JR (guest star Rosario Dawson) lands a job interview out of state.

Episode 11 - Chapter Ninety-TwoWith Jorge (guest star Alfonso DiLuca) officially moved into Alba’s (Ivonne Coll) house with his stuff, it quickly has changed the dynamic, making Jane (Gina Rodriguez) to uncomfortable. Rafael (Justin Baldoni) and Jane work on their co-parenting of Mateo now that they have a potential way to help Mateo. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) has a new set of unexpected problems arise on set with River (guest star Brooke Shields). Meanwhile, Xo (Andrea Navedo) is nervous about her last PET scan and what the results could show.

Episode 12 - Chapter Ninety-ThreeAfter Rafael (Justin Baldoni) witnesses Mateo’s behavior at school, he wants to take a different approach to his treatment. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) is paranoid that River (Brooke Shields) is plotting her revenge against him. Meanwhile, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) convinces Petra (Yael Grobglas) to go on a single ladies’ night out after she learns that Rafael is dating.

Episode 13 - Chapter Ninety-FourWith Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) finally in a good place, they are concerned to discover Mateo’s treatment might be a problem. Alba (Ivonne Coll) and Rogelio (Jaime Camil) are worried about Xo’s (Andrea Navedo) recent behavior. Meanwhile, Petra (Yael Grobglas) is secretly pleased when Rafael and Jane begin fighting over her.

Episode 14 - Chapter Ninety-FiveWhen Lina (guest star Diane Guerrero) comes to town, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) is excited to see her until Lina asks her for a favor. Rafael (Justin Baldoni) begins to work with Petra (Yael Grobglas) again but old tensions create new problems between them. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) creates a plan to pressure the network to pick-up his pilot. Meanwhile, Jane and Rafael have been looking for a solution to one of their problems and think Alba (Ivonne Coll) just might be the answer.

Episode 15 - Chapter Ninety-SixAfter Jane (Gina Rodriguez) is struck with inspiration for her book, she immediately begins to write, but her next challenge is to get an agent. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) has been so focused on being the star, he begins to contemplate taking on a different role instead. Meanwhile, Jane thinks it’s important to build a different relationship with the twins and turns to Petra (Yael Grobglas) for some guidance.

Episode 16 - Chapter Ninety-SevenWhen Jane’s (Gina Rodriguez) editor pitches her a dark twist for her book, Jane begins to wonder if the same thing might have actually happened to her. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) helps River (guest star Brooke Shields) bond with her daughter, but River once again makes things difficult for him. To avoid thinking about her career change, Xo (Andrea Navedo) instead focuses on trying to smooth things over between Jane and Alba (Ivonne Coll). Meanwhile, Alba stands up to someone from her past, which helps Jane realize she should do the same for herself.

Episode 17 - Chapter Ninety-EightJane (Gina Rodriguez) is feeling great about all the book publishing prospects she has until an unexpected problem pops up. Petra (Yael Grobglas) and Rafael’s (Justin Baldoni) working relationship has been going so well that Petra makes Rafael an unexpected offer. It seems like every time Rogelio (Jaime Camil) takes one step closer to his dream, a new roadblock appears.
