Episode 1 - Surprise PartyIt's Lauren's birthday and she tells Millie what she wants is for Mum and Dad to get back together. Millie thinks it's a terrible idea, but does her best to fulfil her sister's wish. Dad shows up and all looks rosy, but the party takes a sudden left turn with the appearance of Mum's personal trainer, Mike. |
Episode 2 - Double DateMillie and Lauren try to coax a reluctant Dad back onto the dating scene, with consequences they could never have predicted. Maybe they've pushed him too hard, too soon? Mum tries too hard to get in shape for a 10K run to impress her new boyfriend, the superfit Mike. |
Episode 3 - The BabysitterMum and Mike plan a night out, but when their babysitter cancels, they decide to leave the girls with Mike's son Craig. He's their worst teenage nightmare, even though they've just met, and quickly shows them he's in charge. When they eventually get the better of him -they find out he needs to be handled with care, as they could be seeing a lot more of Craig in the future. |
Episode 4 - Bigging Up DadDad has a date with Amber, who the girls think is way out of his league - so they decide to give his image a radical makeover. Meanwhile, Craig ruins Mum's plan to create a new sausage sensation for Sunnyshopper, but then has second thoughts and tries to help turn things around. |
Episode 5 - Moving DayWhen Mike and Craig move in, Millie has to give up her room and share with Lauren, who's not happy about it. She goes over to Dad's - only to find midwife Amber has brought a patient home with her. Craig and Millie square off over territory and house rules, while Lauren finds out there's more to life than wardrobe space. |
Episode 6 - Trick Or TreatIt's Halloween, and Amber brings her kids, Fran and Jake, over to Dad's to meet the girls. Things are more frosty than spooky, especially when Jake destroys Millie's special costume. Over at Mum's house, Mum thinks Craig's zombie make-up is a little too realistic, but he's a big hit with the local trick or treaters when he answers the door! |
Episode 7 - StaycationWhen Millie overhears Mum and Mike discussing a holiday in France, she contrives an invitation for herself and Lauren too. But maybe she should have waited to find out the details first. She tries to play Mum and Dad off against each other in the holiday stakes, but ends up with an epic fail for Lauren, Craig, and most of all, herself. |
Episode 8 - BoybandLauren's favourite band are planning a secret gig, and she abandons her previous cinema-going plans with Millie in favour of seeing the Temper Hearts -- taking Amber with her. Feeling left out, Millie and Dad try to make some of their own plans, but things just aren't the same without Lauren and Amber. Mum tries to get Craig to share some family time, and soon regrets it. |
Episode 9 - Mobile WarsLauren's new smartphone is driving everyone mad. But when Mike finally confiscates it, it goes missing - and turns up in Millie's room. She's accused of stealing it, but although she knows she's innocent - she needs to prove it. Dad has to look after Fran and Jake, and gives them a bit too much freedom to explore their creativity. |
Episode 10 - Baby BrainMum is buying a cot, looking at names, calling nurseries. Can she and Mike really be planning a baby? Millie and Lauren decide they can - and obviously, they have to be stopped. Dad tries to bond with Jake, but gets a bit overenthusiastic. |
Episode 11 - Bermuda CallingIt's the offer of a lifetime - a year's posting for Mike in tropical paradise Bermuda. And he can take the family! Even Dad thinks Millie and Lauren should go - so why is Millie having misgivings? And will anyone listen? |
Episode 12 - A Different ChristmasIt's the first Christmas since Mum and Dad split up. Millie wants everyone to use this opportunity to put past Christmas squabbles behind them, and do everything differently - but can they? Some traditions of the past are worth saving. |
