Season 2 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - Trailer

The ground-breaking CBC original docu-series is back for a second season. Pulling back the veil on life as a wheelchair user, PUSH once again takes audiences into the inner world of the ‘Wheelie Peeps,' an unlikely group of friends bonded by their shared experience of life on wheels. Season 2 features returning favourites including the group’s fearless and unfiltered leader, Bean Gill; Canada’s favourite potty-mouthed and self-proclaimed red neck, Brian McPherson; concert pianist, entrepreneur and adventure-seeker, Riccardo Baldini; and more! Nothing is off the table as this bold group of friends tackle everything life throws their way. From the logistics and stigmas of sex with a fellow wheelchair user, to navigating new motherhood as a “quad mom," to facing the people and places who knew them pre-injury, Season 2 has the peeps confronting their past, facing their demons, and supporting new members of the group through the early days of wheelchair life.

Episode 2 - Bollywheels!

All of the Wheelie Peeps are out to support at Bean’s annual “Walk, Run, and Roll” fundraising event, including the newest member of the group, Roneel, a former Bollywood dancer who Bean has been mentoring through the early days of his spinal cord injury. In solidarity, Bean has agreed to be part of Roneel’s “Bollywheels” dance group, which was all fun and games until Roneel booked them at one of the world’s largest fringe festivals. As Bean and Roneel battle the pressures of their upcoming debut, Brian is taking space from Victoria to focus on his budding bro-mance with Riccardo. As the two jet off to Italy, Riccardo is faced with a big decision: Edmonton or Italy?

Episode 3 - Ostinato

In Italy, Brian rides shotgun as Riccardo travels to face the people and places he hasn’t seen since his injury. After an emotional reunion with his former music mentor, Riccardo’s attempt to impress the professor with “Resonate,” the technology he invented to make the piano accessible, doesn’t go as planned. Back home, Bean is on the job, helping Aleem adjust to his new reality as a full-time wheelchair user.

Episode 4 - Never Look Back

Anxious about an upcoming Cheerleading Reunion where she will see old friends for the first time since her injury, Natasha brings Brittney along for support. Brian brings a little bit of Alberta to Italy when he rents a dune buggy for himself and Riccardo, Later, Riccardo squares off with his mother to settle the debate of Italy vs. Edmonton once and for all. Back in Edmonton, Bean reveals some disturbing news about her long-distance boyfriend.

Episode 5 - Let’s Talk About Sex

Bean prepares for a trip to visit her boyfriend for the first time. But as the first “Wheelie Dude” she’s ever dated, let alone been intimate with, Bean has some questions. Luckily, she has her Wheelie Peeps! After some candid “how to” advice, Bean travels to Salt Lake City to put her new love to the test. Meanwhile, Brian returns from Italy with newfound clarity. He and Victoria meet to make the final decision about the future of their relationship.

Episode 6 - Squirrel Stew

After the annual Wheelie Peeps “glamping” trip, Brian “Muscles” decides to share his love of the outdoors by challenging the Peeps with real camping – the no power, no running water, off-the-grid kind of camping. Things are off to a slow start when Wade and Roneel come dressed for the club, and Vahen has an unfortunate incident with a hornet. But "Muscles" persists, determined to push the group out of their comfort zone. When Aleem leaves early, "Muscles" has to ask himself: did he go too far with the squirrel traps? Meanwhile, as Bean’s visit comes to an end, they face the question all online daters must face eventually: should we make it Insta-official?

Episode 7 - Drag me to Brunch

Back from Salt Lake City and madly in love, Bean suggests the Wheelie Peeps catch up over drag brunch. When Aleem expresses insecurities about being “out” in public, Brian goes the extra mile to show his support. Aleem is touched (and shocked) when Brian and shows up to brunch as “Brianna.” Meanwhile, Victoria takes some important steps to finally move on from her relationship with Brian, and looks forward to a new chapter in her life as the leader of the first-ever CMT branch in Western Canada.

Episode 8 - How Far We’ve Come…

The Wheelie Peeps are sick and tired of people taking their parking spots. After commiserating, they decide to do what they do best – raise hell! Things get heated when some unassuming government employees show up to work to find their parking lot has been overtaken by 100s of wheelchairs. Meanwhile, Victoria is offered the opportunity of a lifetime and feels inspired to reach out to Brian to share the news and bid him a final farewell. After the parking protest gains media attention, the Wheelie Peeps celebrate with a monster-sized bonfire where they reflect on their lives, friendship and just how far they’ve come.
