Episode 1 - Coldbrook Farm

Coldbrook Farm is a run-down 17th-century Welsh farmhouse, but its lavishly carved Tudor timberwork hints at a rich history. As owners Bill and Kim grapple with the challenges of mixing old and modern, Kieran and Kate dig deep into the archives, uncovering Coldbrook's possible links with one of the most powerful lords in Britain.

  

Episode 2 - Sandford House

Sandford House is a rare survivor that represents the arts and crafts style, but it fell into serious disrepair. Ralph and Evelyn had known the building for years and were determined to save it. As the restoration gets underway, an intriguing tale of who built Sandford starts to emerge, linking it to Queen Victoria and an international business that operated across the world.

  

Episode 3 - The Elms

The Elms, an imposing, three-storey Georgian house, is in a dreadful condition. Enter three generations of the same family who live just 200 metres away and had been thinking about the Elms for years. It emerges that one of the most influential past owners of the house turned accepted convention on its head and sent shock waves through the society of the day.

  

Episode 4 - Old Manor

The 16th-century Old Manor in Norfolk is beset by damp and death watch beetle. It is an overwhelming project to take on and yet new owners, Polly and Erich, are determined to turn this crumbling property into their dream home. Meanwhile, a leading expert thinks he has identified the original church location of the stained glass windows, which dates them to Henry VIII's Reformation.

  

Episode 5 - Abbey Lane

Abbey Lane in Warwickshire is a classic Tudor gem. Sally and Stuart, who had been searching for their ideal family home, saw past the decay and are working to improve the condition of the timber skeleton, which is frail and needs rebuilding. Unusually, the frame is made of elm rather than oak, and other architectural features indicate that this property was more than a family house.

  

Episode 6 - Coulton Mill

Coulton Mill in North Yorkshire is a site thought to have 13th-century origins, and historical evidence links it to a powerful order of monks. Today, Coulton possesses a rotting watermill, which turned grain into flour for centuries, but now poses severe problems. Two barns are derelict and near collapse. Nick and Heather have quite a challenge at hand with this restoration.

  

Episode 7 - One Year On: Stoke Hall and Nutbourne Pumping Station
