Episode 1 - Season 1, Episode 1: In the Beginning

Grace and the cops investigate the disappearance of a missing child, targeting a troubled high school student. Grace meets her last chance angel Earl after hitting and killing a man while driving drunk. Grace learns that her victim is actually a convicted murderer named Leon Cooley, who is alive and sitting on death row. Grace attempts to scare Clay straight after he posts a video of himself attacking a classmate on the internet. Earl tells Grace that she has to change her life because God has a plan for her.

But Andrew’s own disabilities makes it difficult for Grace to get the information she needs to solve the case. Meanwhile, Grace begins dating Jack, the grown son of her elderly, voyeuristic neighbor. Jack is an atheist, which provides a unique challenge for Earl.

Rhetta tries to make sense of the various items Earl has left behind for Grace and soon discovers the shocking truth that devastates Grace and forces her to face her painful past.

Episode 15 - Season 2, Episode 2: A Survivor Lives Here

Grace and the cops investigate the disappearance of an Olympic rowing hopeful, which leads them to suspect a man who Grace befriended as a child after finding his dead father in the wreckage of the Oklahoma City bombing. Grace becomes despondent after Clay accidentally loses her dog Gus during a walk in the park. Clay suspects that Grace is not being honest with him, about her relationship with Ham and about why his mother was at the Murrah building on the day of the bombing.

  

Episode 16 - Season 2, Episode 3: A Little Hometown Love

Grace and the cops investigate the professional hit on an OCPD employee, who is murdered right under their noses in the men's bathroom at Louie's. Ham's brother comes to visit while on leave from his Marine unit in Afghanistan. Earl infiltrates Grace's dreams in hopes of convincing her to help Leon Cooley.

  

Episode 17 - Season 2, Episode 4: It's a Fierce, White-Hot, Mighty Love

Grace and the cops investigate a man after his wife is discovered murdered and his young son is found clinging to life following being burned alive in a car. Ham struggles to cope with the death of his Marine brother in Afghanistan. The cops learn that Bobby has left indefinitely to work on an undercover case.

  

Episode 18 - Season 2, Episode 5: Do You Love Him?

After a traffic accident reveals over $200,000 in cash hidden within the interior of her Porsche's drivers side door, Grace investigates the origins of the money and uncovers a long-dormant, unsolved murder. Ham learns that his brother Rafe has gone missing from his Marine unit in Afghanistan. Ham's brother Nick does not approve of Ham's relationship with Grace.

  

Episode 19 - Season 2, Episode 6: Are You an Indian Princess?

Grace and the cops investigate a man after his wife is discovered murdered and his young son is found clinging to life following being burned alive in a car. Ham struggles to cope with the death of his Marine brother in Afghanistan. The cops learn that Bobby has left indefinitely to work on an undercover case.

  

Episode 20 - Season 2, Episode 7: You Are My Partner

The murder of an illegal alien leads Grace into the worlds of Oklahoma politics and racist skinheads. Still mourning the loss of his brother, Ham struggles with his police work. Rhetta declares her intention to win (at all costs) the money pot for a charity event conducted by Butch's disabled sister.

  

Episode 21 - Season 2, Episode 8: The Heart of a Cop

The cops investigate a series of grisly murders across Oklahoma City and suspect the killings are the work of a serial killer. Grace is assigned a new partner, Abby, a patrol cop on a twenty-eight day rotation. After learning more information about his case, Rhetta pushes Grace to help the increasingly despondent Leon.

  

Episode 22 - Season 2, Episode 9: Do You Believe in Second Chances?

After a girl dies at a teenage prescription drug party, a party attended by Grace's niece, the cops investigate a distribution ring of dangerous counterfeit drugs. Grace continues to struggle with Abby as her partner. While working as part of an anti-death penalty advocacy group, Johnny meets Leon in prison and discovers his mysterious connection to Grace.

  

Episode 23 - Season 2, Episode 10: Take Me Somewhere, Earl

After talking to her former partner, Grace questions why Abby was promoted. The cops investigate the murder of a drug dealer at an apartment complex. Bobby emerges from his undercover assignment as a changed man. Johnny and Rhetta convince the mother of Leon's first victim to assist them in their efforts to halt Leon's execution.

  

Episode 24 - Season 2, Episode 11: The Live Ones

The cops investigate the death of a woman who was the lover of a famous architect who practices Tantric sex. Grace and Ham readjust to each other as partners, while Bobby copes with his return to the squad and his renewed partnership with Butch. Earl comes to the aid of a suicidal Leon.

  

Episode 25 - Season 2, Episode 12: But There's Clay

Grace discovers that Doug is having a whirlwind romance with Maggie, a waitress at Louie's, and becomes concerned when she learns just how serious the relationship truly is. The cops investigate the death of a college coed on a park jogging trail, and Grace must convince the desperate father of another unsolved murder that the two cases are probably not related. Leon is resistant when his high school sweetheart expresses a desire to visit him in prison.

  

Episode 26 - Season 2, Episode 13: So What's the Purpose of a Platypus?

Grace becomes suspicious after Maggie claims she was attacked and threatened by a stranger. Doug is torn about whether or not he should marry Maggie. Leon prepares for death as Rhetta, Johnny, and Clay collect signatures and letters in hopes of halting his impending execution.

  

Episode 27 - Season 2, Episode 14: I Believe in Angels

Grace and Rhetta are involved in a mysterious convenience store shooting. The cops investigate an apparent self-defense killing inside of an elderly woman's home. While Rhetta and Johnny continue to work in hopes of gaining clemency for Leon, Earl counsels him in his final hours. Grace learns more about her connection to Leon.

  

Episode 28 - Season 3, Episode 1: We're Already Here

Grace tracks down and confronts the mysterious girl that Earl revealed to her in a dream, and the encounter leads Grace and the cops to a group of violent, anti-government extremists.  Grace and Ham receive unwanted attention after a wild night of drunken bridge-painting.  Ham questions Grace about their relationship.

Grace and the cops investigate an alcohol recovery group after one of its members is murdered. Grace visits the hospital to care for the mystery girl in a coma. Rhetta learns about her family's dire financial situation.

Grace and the cops investigate a Hasidic community. Grace struggles to communicate with the now-awoken mystery coma girl. Ham helps Amanda cope with the loss of Rafe.
