Episode 1 - Roger Roach: Worried Sick

Roger takes exaggerated care to avoid catching an autumn cold, but unfortunately loses his scarf. Always willing to help, Annabelle is subjected to the roach's moans and groans as she helps him look for it. To play a little trick on him, she swaps roles, and with Mickey as her accomplice, expresses exaggerated concern over the state of Roger's health. Terrorized by the shock treatment, the roach miraculously recovers. But he is bound to soon find something else to worry about.

  

Episode 1 - The Handsome Flying Stranger / Weight for Me / The Bitter Babysitter

The handsome flying stranger : Benny, the shy butterfly finally decides to invite Betty for the fireflies’ party, but when he was about to sign the letter, he gave up and passes himself off as the "mysterious flyer", bringing about a case of mistaken identity ! / Weight for me : Betty Bee tries to seduce Ernie Elf by following the scheming advice of her jealous neighbour Wendy Wasp, and going on a drastic diet. / The bitter babysitter.

  

Episode 2 - How to Become a Butterfly / The Mysterious Object / The Portrait

How to become a butterfly : Camilla is impatient to be able to fly. She comes up with bright ideas to speed up her mutation into a butterfly, and ends up jumping from a high branch! Luckily her godfather Max is keeping an eye on her... / The mysterious object : Wendy and Lily discover a coin and think up crazy ideas for its uses. Wendy wants to keep it as a mirror to reflect her glamorous image. But Lily wants to play with this toy which rolls all on its own... / The portrait.

  

Episode 2 - Annabelle Ant: The Surprise Guest

Betty and Larry have organized a party for Annabelle. Shhhhh. it' s a secret! To ensure Greta doesn't spill the beans, the Betty pretends the party is being held for an important guest. Of course, all the garden insects now want to come. Betty and Larry have trouble keeping the secret safe and must dissuade Annabelle from helping with preparations. Naturally, the poor ant is convinced nobody likes her.

  

Episode 3 - Rotten Luck! / Friends Forever / Oh, It's All My Fault…

Rotten luck! : Wendy Wasp takes offence at something Fiona Fly has said and sulkily holes up at home. Her neighbors attempt clever, but unsuccessful, ploys to coax her out. Finally, Larry Louse wins the day by simply making her laugh. / Friends forever: Forced to play with Lily, who takes great pleasure in humiliating her, Camilla is determined to prove she isn't a baby anymore. / Oh, it's all my fault…

  

Episode 3 - Mickey Mosquito: A Shot in the Doc!

Fancy that! Mickey Mosquito whose stinging injections everyone avoids, has himself been stung in the night. The hunt is on to find the culprit.

  

Episode 4 - The Perfect Leaf / Bad Faith / Prisoner of the Castle

The Perfect leaf : Camilla is convinced she is going to turn into a butterfly and searches for a leaf to house her cocoon. Always dissatisfied, she is hell-bent on finding that elusive «even better» leaf. After several attempts, she ends up back where she started! / Bad faith : Betty tries to convince Wendy the Queen Bee isn't "an example to all other creatures", as the snobbish wasp keeps on saying. Indeed, Wendy is deeply enamored of anything "royal". She seems to think this will make her more "regal". Betty tells Wendy about the Queen's tricks in an attempt to prove she is far from perfect (puffed up with her self importance, unfair, cruel, profiteering, dishonest, fickle, bossy and capricious), but Wendy always finds an argument to defend the sovereign. Finally, during an argument, Betty urges Wendy to go and live out her dreams at the castle. The Queen needs a clothes advisor and elegant Wendy certainly fits the bill. So she takes Betty's words at face value but is soon thrown out of the castle for making mistakes and being arrogant. But even after narrowly escaping being thrown to the rotten worms, the stubborn wasp continues to sing the queen's praises. Episode 4 - Lili Ladybug: "Berry" Dangerous!

Lily ignores Betty's warnings and sets off alone to pick blackberries in a clump of brambles. Suzy, Betty and Ernie save the foolish ladybird from danger, but she seems to think she saved herself all on her own!

  

Episode 5 - Larry Louse: I've Got Class!

Exasperated by Marvin's snide remarks about his ugliness, Larry makes a bet with him that by tonight he will find someone willing to accompany him to the ball. The poor louse tries to win over Betty with humor, Greta with knowledge and Wendy with style, but fails miserably. He wins the bet thanks to fellow-sufferer Suzy (also ignored because of her looks), who proves the perfect partner.

  

Episode 5 - The Giant Plant / Who's Afraid of the Dark? / Chickenpox

The giant plant : A weird climbing plant has grown in Betty’s garden. Her neighbors are intrigued, but she stubbornly refuses to let them touch «her» plant. However, when the invasive plant blocks her door, Betty learns to share in exchange for her friends’ help. / Who's afraid of the dark ? : Traumatized by nightmares and scary shadows in her bedroom, Camilla tries to overcome her fear of the dark. / Chickenpox.

  

Episode 6 - Greta Grasshopper: Forever Forgetfull

Head in the clouds Greta loses a portrait of the Queen Bee, a painting Boris has put a lot of work into. Mortified, she is about to confess to the beetle, but chickens out at the very last minute. Filled with despair, she writes a letter of confession to the Queen and is preparing to leave the garden for good when she sees Boris being escorted to the castle-hive by two guards. Terrified, but adamant the painter should not be punished in her place, she bravely demands an urgent audience with the Queen to exonerate him. Only then does she see that the painting has in fact safely arrived at the castle, and Boris has been summoned to be congratulated. Gobsmacked, but relieved, Greta departs without daring to find out what happened. She bumps into Roger on her way home, and finally gets to the bottom of the mystery, only to realize she has left her letter of confession at the castle-hive!

  

Episode 6 - The Greatest Gift / The Royal Tea Pot / The Lost Teddy

The greatest gift: After arguing with Marvin, Ernie starts doubting he is an elf. Terrified that everyone thinks he's a garden gnome, he questions his friends and tests his powers. But his anxiety increases and prevents him from sleeping at night. To thank him for defending her against Marvin, Suzy restores Ernie's confidence via a practical joke. / The royal tea pot : Desperate to be invited to tea by one of the funny little bugs, the Queen Bee sends her guards to select the perfect host or hostess. A model housekeeper, Betty assumes she will be chosen, but she hasn't reckoned on Wendy! To get her house cleaned as quickly as possible, the wasp immediately sends a message to Annabelle. But Greta makes a mistake and Fiona is engaged to do the housework! After boasting loudly to Betty, Wendy is forced to admit her house is the dirtiest in the garden. Apart from Fiona's, of course! / The lost teddy.

  

Episode 7 - Draw Me a Child / Soul Sisters / The Birthday Present

Draw me a child : To get rid of him, Ernie Elf challenges Larry Louse to show him what the child-whose -head-he-claims-to- have-fallen-from looks like. Poor Larry discovers it isn’t easy to draw or "build" a child look-a-like, and it is even harder to convince those who only believe what they see! / Soul sisters : Annabelle fails to join her ant column. Devastated, she spends part of the night outside because she is too ashamed to admit her mistake, which she considers unpardonable. After talking to Betty, she toys with the idea of leading an independent life, but soon realizes she isn't cut out to live alone. Next morning, she rejoins her column, determined to do any chore to pay for her mistake. Only then does she realize nobody has noticed her absence! / The birthday present. Episode 7 - Phoebe Firefly: Fairy Friendly

Phoebe always wakes up when the other garden creatures are tucked up in bed. Suffering from loneliness, she imagines she is missing out on all the fun and decides not to go to sleep so she can spend time with them. But to her dismay, she soon discovers the other insects are only interested in her magic powers. She finally pals up with Fiona, who doesn't give a fig for her magic and is happy to stay up all night to keep her company.

  

Episode 8 - Sally Slug: Bugs'n Kisses

Grace insists on giving slimy kisses to everyone she meets. Marvin causes trouble by declaring none of the garden insects want to be kissed by a "parasite". After trying to force her kisses on the other bugs, the poor slug is convinced nobody loves her and sinks into depression. Luckily, she finds love (and kisses) by ridding the garden of the malicious maggot.

  

Episode 9 - Bartley Bumblebee: Yummy Honey!

Bartley decides to make some honey. But how can a bumblebee, and a lazy one at that, become a honeybee? He offers the other insects some delicious honey that tastes strangely similar to Betty's.

  

Episode 10 - Ernie Elf: Magical Powers

Faced with the task of clearing up a windfall of chestnuts in front of Betty's house, Ernie tries to use his magic "elf" powers. Betty and Annabelle work flat out all night so Ernie can continue pretending he isn't a garden gnome.

  

Episode 11 - Betty Bee: Royal Jelly

Betty is shocked to discover she is almost out of royal jelly. Determined to get some more, she returns to the hive and makes amends with the Queen Bee. Unfortunately, she blunders by accidentally letting slip the real reason for her visit. Her Majesty then offers her the precious nectar in exchange for a couple of "small favors". Betty, ready to do anything for the jelly, accepts the deal.

  

Episode 12 - Roger Roach: The Musical Saw

After yet another argument with Ernie, Roger Roach decides to pack his bags and head back to the city, convinced he doesn't belong to the little bugs' world. His chums do all they can to dissuade him by proving there is a place for him in the garden.

  

Episode 13 - Phoebe Firefly: Dueling Magicians

Under the mistaken impression she is doing Suzy, Betty and Fiona a favor, Phoebe ends up upsetting them. Afraid of confronting her face to face, the three friends send Ernie as their go-between. But his lack of diplomacy only offends the firefly, who challenges him to a "magic" duel.

  

Episode 14 - Sally Slug: Up, Up and Away

Fascinated by the airborne exploits of flying bugs and keen to take to the skies, Sally Slug decides. to learn to fly. Despite her determination and the efforts of her friends, she soon discovers her slug body poses a "weighty" problem.

  

Episode 15 - Benny Butterfly: The Shy Gardener

Benny's huge lack of confidence makes life difficult for him. He admires Larry, who is relaxed and outspoken, and learns through him how to overcome his shyness. But carried away by his success, the butterfly oversteps the mark and nearly comes to blows with beefcake Bartley. Benny finally regains his shyness when faced with a much tougher adversary. Betty.

  

Episode 16 - Phoebe Firefly: Lonely Nights

Phoebe is bored at night. To force her friends to stay with her, she cries wolf. But this tactic never fails to turn against those using it!

  

Episode 17 - Marvin Maggot: I’m Not a Fly!

After arguing with Fiona, Marvin Maggot sets out to prove to her, and himself, that he will never become a horrible, dirty fly. He tries to get Wendy to vouch for his good manners, but the attempt fails miserably. Filled with doubt over the true nature of his metamorphosis, Marvin decides to stop growing up. He bumps into Camilla Caterpillar, who is desperate to turn into a butterfly, and has a bright idea. Since he is in no hurry, and she is, why don't they swap places? In exchange, Benny Butterfly can confirm to Fiona that Marvin is indeed a butterfly in the making.

  

Episode 18 - Boris Beetle: Regrets

Camilla Caterpillar pays a visit to Boris, but he is busy working on a painting he intends to submit for a competition. Unfortunately, the little caterpillar accidentally spills some paint onto a blank canvas and flees in terror Ernie comes to pick up Boris's painting, but prefers the abstract work of art instead, unaware Camilla, and not Boris, is the artist. Boris dare not reveals the truth until filled with a guilty conscience.

  

Episode 19 - Larry Louse: A Question of Honor

To prove her powers of seduction, Wendy charms and flatters Larry into a fight with Bartley. As news of the fight spreads in the garden, Larry realizes how silly it was of him to challenge the beefcake bumblebee and faces a difficult dilemma - to humiliate himself in public by apologizing to Bartley or to bravely fight him and risk getting beaten up. The louse finally realizes what Wendy is up to and Bartley vents his anger on the deceitful wasp.

  

Episode 20 - Betty Bee: Some Birthday!

Betty invites some friends over for her birthday. But the ones she doesn't want turn up and feeling overwhelmed and invaded (in her own home!), she soon reveals the limits of her hospitality!

  

Episode 21 - Camilla Caterpillar: The Carnivorous Plant

Camilla says she wants to become a gardener. At first Benny is delighted, but soon realizes she isn't cut out for the job. To discourage her, he tells the gullible caterpillar a dangerous carnivorous plant is lurking in the greenhouse. But his cunning plan backfires.
