Season 3 Episode Guide
Episode 1 - Baby On BoardMelanie finally confesses to Derwin that she is in love with him, but soon after Derwin tells her about Janay's pregnancy. Meanwhile, Malik has to face Tasha once she finds out about his engagement to guest star Robin Givens. Kelly enlist the help of her parents (Guest stars Lee Garlington as Bren and Don McManus as Nick), to help her keep Jason out of her life.

Episode 2 - Mel-odramaMelanie has a confrontation with Janay when she thinks that Janay may be lying about her pregnancy with Derwin's baby. Meanwhile, Kelly invites Melanie and Tasha for a girls night out, and Malik is finally forced to confront Tasha and deliver his big news to her.

Episode 3 - Just When I Thought I Was Out... She Pulls Me Back InWhile Rick is ready to make their relationship public, Tasha refuses to do so and goes out of her way to keep it a secret from their co-workers. Meanwhile, Malik begins to realize that his marriage may not work out since Robin seems to be in it just for publicity. Finally, Melanie and Derwin's sex life begins to become practically non-existent because Derwin is too worried about becoming a father.

Episode 4 - Just the Three of UsMelanie feels jealous after Derwin goes with Janay to her first pregnancy appointment. Meanwhile, Kelly decides that it's time for her and Jason to talk to Brittany about their separation. Jason, however, refuses to do so, leaving Kelly confused about what to do next regarding the issue.

Episode 5 - A Delectable Basket of TreatsTasha boycotts Malik's marriage to Robin Givens, fearing that their marriage is a scam. At the reception, everyone assumes Melanie is the girl who is expecting Derwin's child and Rick Fox decides to introduce Tasha to his mom, (Guest star Penny Marshall). Additional guest stars include New Orleans Hornets' Chris Paul and actors Tisha Campbell-Martin ("My Wife and Kids") and Duane Martin ("All of Us") who all play themselves in the episode. Brittany Daniel and Coby Bell also star.

Episode 6 - The Platski ThickensKelly catches Jason with another woman after they each agree to move on from one another. Wendy Raquel Robinson, Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall also star.

Episode 7 - White Coats and White LiesMelanie reluctantly turns to her parents for financial help when she learns that her grant money to cover for her tuition has been revoked and she has been placed on academic probation, Meanwhile, Derwin learns bad news from Irv (Guest star: PJ Byrne) about his contract negotiations. Malik and Tasha are freaked out to learn that Robin Givens (Guest star as Herself) and Rick Fox (Guest star as Himself) shared a past together. Kelly goes on her first date since her split with Jason.

Episode 8 - The Side Part, Under EpisodeMelanie meets her very own Dr. McHottie (Guest star Jason Olive) at the hospital where she is a first year resident.

Episode 9 - Oh, What a NightTasha, being insecure, worries that her relationship with Rick Fox has no future so she starts playing the field. Melanie struggles with her relationships. Jason tries to repair his relationship with his daughter Brittany, who blames her father for her parents pending divorce.

Episode 10 - The Negotiation EpisodeDerwin helps Jason try to win Kelly back, putting an end to all divorce talk, but then things go not as planned. When Robin tells Malik to stop fooling around with other woman in order to keep up the charade of their fake marriage, Malik decides to play by his own rules.

Episode 11 - Insert Car HereJason loses his mind when he finds Kelly on a date with another man named Joe, in the car he gave her for a gift. Melanie tries connecting with Derwin without physical intimacy. Tasha is forced to face her relationship insecurities.

Episode 12 - Stay Fierce, MalikDuring an exclusive interview with Extra's Tanika Ray whatever, Robin Givens insinuates that Malik is gay, and for that reason he wants to break up with her. Meanwhile, Malik learns Clay, (guest star Marcello Thedford), who is one of the other football players is also gay but he hasn't told anyone. Also Derwin confronts Melanie about her relationship with the doctor at the hospital.

Episode 13 - Do the Wright ThingAfter outing Clay (Guest star Marcello Thedford), Malik's invitation to appear on his favorite childhood television show, "Mookie", is revoked. Meanwhile, Jason enlists the help of Kelly and the rest of the Sunbeams to give a warm welcome to Clay's boyfriend (guest star Brian Wade).

Episode 14 - Punk Ass ChaunceyWith the encouragement of Melanie and Kelly, Tasha decides that it is time to let Malik know who his real father is. Meanwhile, just as Melanie is about to attempt to fix her relationship with Derwin, Janay decides that her relationship with Derwin should be re evaluated due to their pending roles together as parents.

Episode 15 - Take a BowMalik's only interest is to know everything about his father. Meanwhile Tasha finds out that Rick's job is on the line and Mel thinks Derwin is trying to teach her a lesson.

Episode 16 - Truth and ConsequencesTasha accuses Kelly of betrayal, so Tasha introduces Jason to a beautiful talk show host.

Episode 17 - Hill Street BluesDerwin gets jealous when Janay's ex-boyfriend (Hill Harper) comes into town and Melanie turns to the cable guy for comfort after the loss of her relationship with Derwin.

Episode 18 - The Third LegacyMalik meets his half-sister and worries that he may have slept with her before they knew they were related; Tasha meets her former husband's wife and is shocked to see that the woman is surprisingly similar to herself.

Episode 19 - Put a Ring On ItKelly is forced to come to terms with Jason's new girlfriend Camille. Meanwhile, Tasha and Kelly are planning an engagement party for Mel and Derwin.

Episode 20 - The Fall of the RomanWhile shopping with Tasha, Mel finds her perfect wedding dress. Meanwhile, Jason's relationship evolves to the next level, and he wants Camille to meet his daughter.
