Episode 3 - Episode 3In Devon, Ellie and her team look after an eclectic group of patients in their own homes. Farmer George lives in a caravan, cheerfully disregarding any medical advice given.

Episode 4 - Episode 4In rural Yorkshire, Midwife Kay is part of a team who help mums have home births, often miles from the nearest hospital. But babies aren't born to a timetable, so she carries a mobile phone, which can go off any time of day or night. This week, she is woken at 3am by a call from Natalie, who is at home with her husband and has suddenly gone into labour.

Episode 5 - Episode 5In rural Yorkshire, District Nurse Michele has a new patient who needs her help: Wendy is an 86-year-old widow, who keeps falling in her own home and injuring herself. Michele starts to investigate the problem to try to ensure she can stay safely in her own home. But persuading Wendy to co-operate with her advice proves to be an unexpected challenge.

Episode 6 - Episode 6In Devon, Nurse Lesley drives hundreds of miles a week through the winding countryside, supporting patients in their own homes. This week, she sees three patients, including Doris and Dudley, childhood sweethearts who've been married over fifty years, but now spend most of their time in bed and prefer not to go downstairs.

Episode 7 - Episode 7In Devon, District Nurse Siobhan is passionate about helping patients with dementia live happy, fulfilled lives, as independently as possible. She believes that too often they can be treated as second class citizens. She helps her patients to stay at home, and personally keeps a close eye on them to make sure they're okay.
