Episode 1 - Absent Friends

Weatherill returns to work. A local ‘problem’ family prove a handful for the hospital staff. Out in Africa, Goodwin faces the horrors of war and makes a promise to a dying woman.

  

Episode 2 - Home and Dry

Goodwin returns to England but faces some opposition. A singing superstar requires a hospital stay but Frankie almost loses his job when the paparazzi catch them in flagrante.

  

Episode 3 - Hoping for the Best

When a mother falls ill, the question of what will happen to her children arises. Makori and Goodwin deal with a touch-and-go case of meningitis.

  

Episode 4 - Fear of the Expected

Carnegie attempts to solicit money from a wealthy patient for the new hospital wing. An alcoholic father lets his family down. And Makori and Nkeshi leave for pastures new.

  

Episode 5 - Dr Who?

A mix-up over job offers at the Royal leads to disappointment Catherine sets Carnegie straight over their relationship. And a night out with friends ends horribly for Stella.
