Episode 1 - Episode 1Dr. Joe O’Loughlin is a psychologist with a successful private practice, a loving wife, and a young daughter. But a recent life-changing medical diagnosis has thrown him off-balance. When a young woman is found murdered, the unusual manner of her death prompts DI Vince Ruiz and DS Riya Devi to consult Joe for his professional opinion. Joe is shocked by the sight of the young woman’s body. Is he just shaken by the brutality of the killing, or is there something he’s not telling the police?

Episode 2 - Episode 2Obsessed with the case of the murdered woman, Joe begins to suspect that one of his patients may know something about the killing. The more threads Joe picks at, the more entangled he becomes. Meanwhile, new evidence brings the police to focus attention on Dr. O’Loughlin. Joe has his own theory about who might have murdered the young woman, but the police are not convinced. When Joe’s marriage is hit by a bombshell, the line between innocence and guilt starts to seem irrevocably blurred.

As he digs deeper, he unearths details that point to a culprit uncomfortably close to home. The police investigation has hit a roadblock, but Detectives Ruiz and Devi are convinced that Joe is somehow linked to Catherine’s murder. They must watch and wait to see where he leads them.

The police are focused on arresting Joe, but Ruiz has a nagging doubt that he is missing something—he just can’t put his finger on it. Joe has one last chance to uncover the truth. With the help of those still loyal to him, he must delve into his own past to understand what is happening in the present.

DI Ruiz takes a calculated risk—will it pay off or backfire horribly? At the moment Joe thinks he is finally out of the woods, the stakes suddenly become life or death. Can Joe’s skills as a psychologist get him out of trouble one more time?
