Episode 1 - Episode 1After 13 years of imprisonment in a cellar, Ivy Moxam escapes. When the police finally locate the house where Ivy was held captive, they discover her kidnapper long gone – and evidence that contradicts Ivy’s story. DS Lisa Merchant begins to question whether Ivy is telling the truth about her ordeal.

Episode 2 - Episode 2Recent events put more pressure on Ivy to relive her ordeal. However, Ivy's behaviour makes Merchant suspicious, and when evidence is produced which suggests that Ivy has lied to the police, she comes under fierce scrutiny.

Episode 3 - Episode 3The police investigation makes some breakthroughs but Carne and Merchant find themselves on opposing sides. Ivy's family life implodes as lies are uncovered.

Episode 4 - Episode 4Ivy is arrested and questioned when a gruesome discovery is made at Colbridge Road. She goes into shutdown and it's up to Christina to set Ivy free from the guilt that burdens her.

Episode 5 - Episode 5Ivy is forced to face the truth of what happened to her. She must decide whether to give in to the past, or fight for the future. Can she ever truly be free?
