Episode 1 - PilotAfter finding a classmate’s corpse in her locker, perpetually unpopular Velma Dinkley is given an ultimatum: solve the mystery within 24 hours or face arrest for the crime. But as she reluctantly digs into the case, Velma is forced to confront the truth of her mother’s own mysterious disappearance, and fend off the advances of her best friend, Norville.

Episode 2 - The Candy ManDesperate to access her missing mom’s case file, Velma strikes a deal with her former BFF Daphne – who may just have some secrets of her own. Then, while a sober Norville finds himself in with the wrong crowd, Fred claims innocence for a series of crimes.

Episode 3 - Velma KaiIn the wake of the murders, Principal Rogers enrolls all the female students in a self-defense class, forcing Daphne and Velma to work out their complicated relationship on the mat. Meanwhile, Norville attempts to pry the truth out of Fred the only way he knows how: cognitive behavioral therapy.

Episode 4 - Velma Makes a ListAfter yet another body turns up in town, Velma volunteers to rank Crystal Cove High’s hottest girls to help determine the next victim. While trying to figure out what traits Velma finds attractive, Norville is pulled into a mystery tied to the history of the town – and Daphne’s own dark past.

Episode 5 - Marching Band SleepoverWhen Crystal Cove instates a nightly curfew, Velma is forced to spend the night with band geeks. But after taking advantage of Norville’s good will (again), Velma finds herself stuck chasing clues with a newly woke Fred. At work on her own mystery, Daphne discovers a shocking connection to Crystal Cove’s criminal underground.

Episode 6 - The Sins of the Fathers and Some of the MothersAfter realizing the only way to stop her hallucinations is to resolve her daddy issues, Velma sets out to spend time with Aman – and convince him of the truth behind his wife’s disappearance. Meanwhile, Norville takes the bad boy lifestyle for a spin, Daphne spends quality time with the Crystal Cove Gang, and Fred fights his father’s antifeminist ways.

Episode 7 - Fog FestWith the Crystal Cove Fog Festival fast approaching, Velma chases clues related to the serial killer, ignoring Daphne and dashing her chances at a date to the dance in the process. Later, Norville and Fred vie for the Fog King crown, Daphne finds herself inexplicably attracted to a mysterious new kid, and Velma revels in her newfound abilities after masquerading as a man.

Episode 8 - A Velma in the WoodsAfter Velma and Daphne find themselves trapped in a cave below Mount Crystal, a series of flashbacks determine who’s responsible for their imminent demise – and where their friendship stands. Stuck in the serial killer’s underground lair, Fred proves that he really does love women for their brains, while Norville and Gigi work through their relationship problems above ground.

Episode 9 - A Family (Wo)manGiven 72 hours to uncover the serial killer’s identity, Velma is forced to live a lie – including raising a baby with an increasingly frustrated Norville. Shunned by the Brains, Fred and Daphne face their newfound unpopularity together… until they hatch a plan to claw their way back to the top.

Episode 10 - The Brains of the OperationDespite the alleged murderer’s confession, Velma continues to work the case – and uncovers a shocking clue from her own past. Meanwhile, Daphne starts her internship with Jones Gentleman’s’ Accessories, Fred channels his rage into questionable art, and Norville makes good on his promise to get as far away from Velma as possible.
