Episode 1 - The Happily Ever After Thing

Months have passed since Bec discovered she was pregnant to Doug and she's convinced she can make it work and keep everyone happy. But when Bec is swept up in the excitement of the 20 week ultrasound - she learns the sex of the baby.

  

Episode 2 - Grape Expectations

Our couples are loved-up and looking forward to Jenny's big weekend away but things don't go to plan...There's the issue of Jenny being broke and the bigger issue that she hasn't told the girls.

  

Episode 3 - Welcome to the Family

This week the girls explore new worlds and welcome new and old family members.

     

Episode 4 - Juggling's Not a Party Trick

After being disciplined for her overzealous doctoring last week, Sophie is keen to take her mind off her upcoming hearing with the Hospital Board. But in doing so she makes a bad situation worse and must face some uncomfortable truths about her own behaviour.

  

Episode 5 - A Day in the Life

Bec, Jenny, Frances and Sophie each navigate separate paths as their lives take them in vastly different directions. After facing numerous challenges throughout the day, they come to realise that they've been neglecting the one constant that's provided them with so much strength and stability in the past - each other.

  

Episode 6 - Twists of Fete

It's the annual hospital fete fundraiser, but the fun and games are tainted for Sophie when rival student, Spencer, accuses her not only of receiving favourable treatment, because of her relationship with Doug, but of having bought her way back into medicine through her generous donation to the hospital. Sophie refutes the claim but when stolen hospital drugs are discovered in her bag, she's left facing the prospect of not only losing her career but of going to prison as well.

  

Episode 7 - What Lies Beneath

In the wake of prescription drugs being found in her locker, Sophie is determined to make Spencer pay. Doug warns her to back off and Sophie reluctantly agrees. Sophie thinks the matter will be resolved when she finds the evidence she needs. However, Doug alerts her to the fact that she's only made matters worse. When all seems hopeless, Sophie realises that she and Spencer have something in common. Will this be enough to make Spencer fess up?

     

Episode 8 - Letters and Lies

Tormented by the guilt she's carrying at having cheated on Callum, Jenny's relieved when Rhys makes a reappearance and she's able to get her secret off her chest. Rhys' advice that Jenny has to come clean proves futile when Callum proposes marriage to Jenny. Swept up in the happiness, Jenny vows that the punishment for her indiscretion will be to keep the secret forever. But when Callum stumbles across a written confession, Jenny's world crumbles around her.

  

Episode 9 - Stalled

Hurt by Jenny's betrayal, Bec can't face her best friend. Not only did Jenny cheat on Callum but Bec feels she betrayed their friendship by doing so. In an attempt to broker the peace, Frances and Sophie force Jenny and Bec to face the issue head on. But Bec is unable to see a way through the rift. When depressed Callum turns up drunk for work, Bec is called to the scene, but a terrifying accident puts both Bec and her baby's life in danger.

  

Episode 10 - Moving On

Bec and Sophie learn the truth about Tiffany's arrangement with Tom, after her latest injuries are revealed. Tiffany realises she has to get out of the relationship. Sophie, meanwhile, after talking to Bec about her pregnancy and seeing the sacrifices Tiffany's making for her children, tells Doug she's not ready to have her own kids any time soon. How will Doug react?

     

Episode 11 - Future Tense

After having recently made amends with her Mum, Carolyn, Bec turns her attentions to Tiffany's world, after she expresses doubt over her decision to leave Tom. When Tiffany learns that her ex-husband, Craig, is planning to move their kids overseas, Tiffany makes a snap decision that could completely jeopardise her custody case.

  

Episode 12 - Maybe Baby

Frances is freaking out about her recent kiss with Cat. In search of distraction she suggests some retail therapy but when Sophie brings Cat along, things go from tense to tenser. To top things off, Bec's fixation with bargain baby-shopping puts Sophie on edge as she grapples with her impending step-mum role and her associated feelings of dread. Hardly a relaxing day at the mall...

  

Episode 13 - A Problem Shared

Frances and Cat grow closer whilst working through Cat's bucket list. However, it's eating Frances up that Cat's keeping her illness a secret from Sophie. When Cat's condition worsens, Frances takes Jonathan's advice and tells Sophie what's going on. What will this mean for Frances and Cat's friendship?

  

Episode 14 - The Right Time

Cat had a plan when she returned to Melbourne. She wanted Sophie to be with her when she died - before her health deteriorated too far. But when Sophie reacts badly to a wake Cat has held in honour of announcing the plan, she realises Sophie may not be ready to face the difficult reality. When Cat plants a lethal injection vial for Sophie to find, Cat's intentions become clear to Sophie. She and Doug rally to change Cat's mind, if it means more time with their friend. But will they break Cat's resolve?

  

Episode 15 - Footprints

In Jenny's last week of her teaching placement at Renwood, she discovers the extent to which one of her students, Amanda, is bullying another girl, Tilly. Propelled by her own experiences of being bullied at the hands of Tiffany Turner, Jenny is determined to help Tilly - and punish Amanda.

  

Episode 16 - A Whole New World

When Jonathan and Rhys are the victims of a brutal assault, Frances goes on a crusade to obtain justice. In the process, Flynn becomes aware of Frances' passion and skill as a lawyer - so invites her to join him as a partner in his private practice. After she happily reveals acceptance of the offer to Zach, the former couple are finally reunited.

  

Episode 17 - Matters of the Heart

Frances' surprise that it will be just her and Flynn in the law practice is soon overtaken by Tiffany's request that Frances take over as her lawyer in the custody hearing... and the case starts tomorrow. Despite immense reservations, Frances agrees to help out.

  

Episode 18 - Eyes Wide Open

During preparations for her and Doug's engagement party, Sophie begins to feel a growing sense of dread. It builds until Sophie finds herself in the grips of a panic attack while shopping for her engagement ring with Bec. Bec reassures Sophie that her apprehensions are completely normal. But once back on track, Sophie's doubts over marriage are again compounded when her mum, Louise, confesses that she and Sophie's father, Charles, have separated.

  

Episode 19 - To Have and to Hold

While Matt struggles with the guilt of his betrayal, Bec misreads his anxiety as stress over Harrison's upcoming Naming Day - and puts a plan in place to make him feel secure in Harrison's life. At the Naming Day event, Matt's guilt drives him to confess his affair...

  

Episode 20 - The Whole Truth

Sophie and Doug are struggling to maintain a semblance of a 'normal' relationship in the wake of Sophie's decision to break off the engagement. Try as they might to rekindle and reignite their relationship, the hard truth soon becomes evident - maybe it's over. As Matt and Bec embark on their search for a block of land on which to build their dream home, Bec discovers money is missing from her bank account.

  

Episode 21 - Perfect Match

Jenny's about to finish her teaching degree but all she can think about is Callum's reappearance in her life. She hopes desperately for his forgiveness, but when she invites him to her celebrations, he shuts her down quick smart. Advice from an unlikely source sees Callum reconsider his attitude. But will a chance encounter with Jen's old flame, Lachie, ruin everything?

  

Episode 22 - This Is Our Last Goodbye

After her break-up with Doug, Sophie is handed the perfect distraction when Flynn tells her rebuilding is about to start on the Kenyan medical clinic. He thinks they should go over and be part of it but Sophie is worried about Doug's reaction. She's surprised and saddened when Doug tells her it's a good idea that they live on separate continents. Sophie shares an emotional goodbye with the girls before a volatile encounter puts paid to her plans.
