Lee Majors (Actor) .. Colt Seavers
Born: April 23, 1939
Birthplace: Wyandotte, Michigan, United States
Trivia: A football star at Eastern Kentucky State College, Lee Majors came to Los Angeles armed with a physical education degree and possessed with a vague desire to break into films. He worked as a park recreation director for the City of Los Angeles before entering show business in 1963. Majors was promoted as "the New James Dean," though he personally aspired to become a new Steve McQueen or Paul Newman (he also retained his permit to work as a recreation director, just in case the world wasn't holding its breath for a new Dean, McQueen or Newman). Majors achieved stardom on his own merits in a variety of television series, the most recent of which was 1992's Raven. His best-known TV roles included Heath Barkley on The Big Valley (1965-69), bionic Steve Austin on The Six Million Dollar Man (1973-78) and stunt man Colt Seavers on The Fall Guy (1981-86). In addition, he has headlined a number of made-for-TV movies, essaying the old Gary Cooper part in the 1991 sequel to High Noon and portraying U-2 pilot Francis Gary Powers in a 1976 biopic. Majors would continue to act in the decades to come, memorably appearing in Big Fat Liar and on The Game. For several years, Lee Majors was married to actress Farrah Fawcett.
Doug Barr (Actor) .. Howie Munson
Born: May 01, 1949
Heather Thomas (Actor) .. Jody Banks
Born: September 08, 1957
Birthplace: Greenwich, Connecticut
Trivia: Lead actress, onscreen from Zapped! (1982).
Jo Ann Pflug (Actor) .. Samantha 'Big Jack' Jack
Born: May 02, 1940
Birthplace: Atlanta, Georgia
Trivia: After her eye-catching debut as Nurse Dish in the 1970 film version of MASH, American leading lady Jo Ann Pflug remained on call for sexy, come-hither roles. Pflug spent the bulk of her career on television, playing regular roles on Operation Petticoat (1978-79, as Lieutenant Katherine O'Hara) and The Fall Guy (1981-82 as "Big Jack"). She also played Nora Charles in an abortive mid-1970s attempt to revive The Thin Man as a weekly series. While starring as Taylor von Platen on the syndicated soap opera Rituals (1984), Jo Ann Pflug became a born-again Christian; rebelling against the prurient content of Rituals, Pflug quit the program, thereafter devoting herself to religious radio and television projects.
Anne Lockhart (Actor) .. Robin Stevens
Born: January 01, 1953
Trivia: Leading and supporting film and television actress Anne Lockhart made her feature-film debut in Jory (1972). The daughter of actress June Lockhart and the granddaughter of actors Gene and Kathleen Lockhart, she also does occasional voice-over work.
David Hedison (Actor) .. Jordan Stevens
Born: May 20, 1927
Trivia: Born Albert Hedison, David Hedison billed himself as Al Hedison when he signed his 20th Century-Fox contract in 1958. He was still Al when he starred in his best-known film, The Fly, as the unfortunate researcher who ends up as lunch for a slavering spider ("Hellllp meeeeee"). By 1959, he was David Hedison, both as leading man of the 17-episode TV series Five Fingers and as romantic lead of still another fantasy film, The Lost World (1960). In 1964, Hedison worked off his Fox contract in the role of Captain Lee Crane in the weekly TVer Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (1964-67). The most amusing episode of that Irwin Allen production was a 1963 entry which utilized generous stock footage from Lost World, with Hedison "out of uniform" so that he could match shots of himself lensed three years earlier. In the last three decades, David Hedison has co-starred in numerous made-for-TV movies, and has been seen on two television soap operas: the daytime Another World and the nighttime The Colbys.
James Wainwright (Actor) .. Del Slade
Born: March 05, 1938
Died: December 20, 1999
Trivia: Leading man James Wainwright excelled in school, particularly in his art classes, but upon landing an art scholarship at Carnegie University, he abruptly switched gears and joined the Marines. After his discharge, he held down a variety of jobs before finding his true niche in the theater. Polishing his craft at the Actors Studio, Wainwright headed to Hollywood at age 30. At first cast as brutish villains, he was humanized somewhat in a recurring role on TV's Daniel Boone. In 1972, he landed the starring role of Bureau of Missing Persons investigator Frank Dain on the weekly actioner Jigsaw. James Wainwright has since been seen in character parts in films, and as "mad scientist" Simon Quaid in the 1980 TVer Beyond Westworld.
Susanne Reed (Actor) .. Wendy Radich
Ray Young (Actor) .. Andy
Born: September 07, 1938
Died: December 02, 2000
Twyla Littleton (Actor) .. Bambi
K.C. Winkler (Actor) .. Thumper
Alfie Wise (Actor) .. Josh
Born: November 17, 1943
Trivia: American general-purpose actor Alfie Wise was evidently some sort of good luck charm to film luminary Burt Reynolds. Though his movie appearances were usually nondescript (this description could also apply to the actor's participation in such busted TV pilots as Call Her Mom and Young Tom Christian), Wise could always count on a moment or two to shine whenever cast in a Reynolds vehicle. He was seen as a state trooper in The Longest Yard (1974), as "patrolman in a traffic jam" in Smokey and the Bandit (1977), and as Tony in Hooper (1978). Additional Alfie Wise bits were included in the Burt Reynolds pictures The End (1978), Starting Over (1979), and Paternity (1981). On television, Alfie Wise had recurring roles on As the World Turns, Trauma Center, and the kiddie show Uncle Croc's Block (dressed appropriately -- and ridiculously -- for his role as Mr. Rabbit Ears).
James Carrington (Actor) .. Dan Evans
Troy Melton (Actor) .. Woody
Born: January 01, 1921
Died: November 15, 1995
Trivia: Stuntman and occasional supporting actor Troy Melton spent most of his career on television and appeared on numerous series, from the 1960s through the mid-'70s. Melton also worked on numerous films of the 1960s and 1970s, beginning with Davy Crockett and the River Pirate (1956).
Claude Woolman (Actor) .. Doctor
Paul Sanchez (Actor) .. Mr. Wilson
Morgan Woodward (Actor) .. Ruben Guantt
Born: September 16, 1925
Trivia: Rough-edged character actor Morgan Woodward is the son of a Texas physician. Specializing in Westerns, the 6'3" Woodward has been seen in scores of big-screen oaters, and in 1956 held down the semi-regular role of Shotgun Gibbs in the TV series The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp. He has also made quite a few non-Western appearances on such video weeklies as Star Trek and The A-Team. In his spare time, Morgan Woodward is a licensed pilot.
