Episode 4 - And the Group HeadWhen Max and Caroline can't figure out how to use the new cappuccino maker they bought for their cupcake business, they take temporary side jobs as baristas at a coffee house to learn the ropes.

Episode 5 - And the CronutsWhen Max and Caroline start losing business to the new "cronut" craze (half-croissant, half-donut), they come up with their own trend: cake fries.

Episode 6 - And the Piece of SheetAfter Caroline buys hair extensions with her and Max's joint funds, Caroline feels guilty and splurges on a new bedding set for Max. But she gives the old set to charity, not realizing Max's old pillowcase has sentimental value for her, and the two go to extremes in search of Max's cherished pillowcase.

Episode 7 - And the Girlfriend ExperienceAfter Han emails photos of a stripper's face to his mother in Korea with the claim that she's his girlfriend, he begs Max and Caroline to find the woman and convince her to play his girlfriend when his mother visits.

Episode 8 - And the 'It' HoleWhen Caroline's date doesn't show up after promising to take her to one of the city's hippest new restaurants, she and Max decide to take advantage of the hard-to-get reservation.

Episode 9 - And the Pastry PornMax decides to apply to the Manhattan School of Pastry and bakes a tart for her entrance exam. GILLES MARINI (Sex and the City, Switched at Birth, Brothers & Sisters) guest stars as Nicolas, the handsome French "master baker" who owns and teaches at the school. MARY LYNN RAJSKUB (24) guest stars as Bebe, a neurotic pastry chef who works at the front desk.

Episode 10 - And the First Day of SchoolMax attempts to make a good impression on her first day of pastry school, but finds the class clown, Deke (recurring guest star ERIC ANDRÉ – The Internship, Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23), to be extremely distracting — and intriguing. Meanwhile, Caroline dresses to impress Max's handsome teacher, Nicolas (recurring guest star GILLES MARINI). Recurring guest star MARY LYNN RAJSKUB also appears as Bebe.

Episode 11 - And the Life After DeathCaroline attends her former nanny’s funeral, thinking the family will be honored to have her; she quickly learns, however, that they have no idea who she is.

Episode 17 - And the Married Man SleepoverWhen Nicolas (recurring guest star GILLES MARINI) invites Caroline to a dinner date at his loft, she asks Max and Deke (recurring guest star ERIC ANDRÉ) to join her to help make sure she doesn't do anything she might regret. Also, Max and Caroline treat themselves to very special hair appointments.

Episode 18 - And the Near Death ExperienceCaroline goes into a tailspin and brings Max into the mix when Nicolas (recurring guest star GILLES MARINI) tells her he's going to leave his wife for her.

Episode 19 - And the Kilt TripCaroline tries to fit in with Max and the diner gang as they go out to get wild and crazy at the St. Patrick's Day parade, but she finds herself longing to practice her former holiday traditions at the Plaza Hotel. Guest star BRIAN DOYLE-MURRAY (The Middle, Sullivan & Son) appears as Blarney Bill.

Episode 20 - And the Not Broke ParentsWhen Deke (recurring guest star ERIC ANDRÉ) invites Max and Caroline to join him and his parents for dinner at their home, Max is tongue-tied - until his mother confides in her about her secret past. Guest stars Jeff Garlin (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development, The Goldbergs) and Sheryl Lee Ralph (Moesha, Instant Mom, It's a Living) guest star as Deke's parents.

Episode 21 - And the Wedding Cake Cake CakeMax and Caroline agree to make a wedding cake for a bride who can't decide on what style of cake she wants - or much of anything else. Guest stars include LINDSAY LOHAN (Mean Girls, Liz and Dick) as Claire, the indecisive bride, and BEN LAWSON (Neighbours) as Tim, her fiancé.

Episode 22 - And the New Lease On LifeWhen Max and Caroline find out the lease is up on their apartment, they're forced to find the original tenant and have him re-sign, claiming he still lives there, or risk being evicted. HAL LINDEN (Barney Miller) guest stars as Lester, the original tenant.

Episode 23 - And the Free MoneyWhen Caroline and Max join Sophie at the racetrack as guests of Sophie's new bookie boyfriend, Nicky (guest star PETER ONORATI – Rizzoli & Isles), Caroline's reignited love for horse racing gets out of hand.

Episode 24 - And the First DegreeIn the third season finale, when Caroline discovers that Max didn't graduate high school by failing to show up for only one exam, she decides to help her best friend get her degree - and hopefully reconnect with her estranged mother.
