Season 13 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - Episode 1

'Ten Couples arrive at The Biggest Loser Ranch. However, one team will be sent home immediately. To determine who will be eliminated, the contestants compete in a three-round competition. The Aqua Team gets sent home with a twist. If they can lose 50 pounds in one month, the Aqua team will be able to return to campus.

  

Episode 2 - Episode 2

'The excuse of the week is "I Don't Know How To Eat Healthy." The teams bet how much they think their team can lose during the week. The Red Team bets of 3.8% (94 pounds), even though during a typical week, contestants lose an average of 2% of their weight.

  

Episode 3 - Episode 3

'The week's excuse is "I Don't Know How To Eat Right." The theme is "Face-off," the players are paired with someone on the other team; whoever loses more weight wins a point for their team. The team with the most points wins.

  

Episode 4 - Episode 4

The excuse of the week is "I Can't Afford A Gym Membership." Buddy leaves temporarily because his wife is giving birth, but he has to return for the weigh-in and his weight will count. The teams compete in a challenge to determine who will have access to the gym for the week. The challenge is an obstacle course with several series of doors labeled A and B.

  

Episode 5 - Episode 5

'The excuse of the week is "I Will Never Reach My Goal." The Aqua team returns to weigh in for their spot on campus. They need to lose 50 pounds or more as a team, and they lose 60 pounds, which allows them to return to the game with immunity for the week.

  

Episode 6 - Episode 6

'This week's excuse is "I Can't lose weight on my own" and one team is about to learn the hard way whether or not that is true. The losing team at this week's challenge will have zero access to their trainer all week. So, what do they have to do to ensure their trainer is safe?

  

Episode 7 - Episode 7

'The excuse of the week is "I'll Start After The Holidays." Alison informs the contestants that one person from each team will go home for the week and only their weight will count towards the team's total percentage of weight lost.

  

Episode 8 - Episode 8

'This week's theme is "I Lack Self Control." The week begins with Buddy's birthday and a temptation. Whoever eats the most total calories gets the powers to rearrange the teams. Daphne eats the most calories and only switches two people: Jeremy from the Black Team to the Red Team; Conda from the Red Team to theBlack Team.

  

Episode 9 - Episode 9

'The contestants go home for 18 days to confront all of their old excuses. The contestants are told they each need to lose 5% of their body weight to have immunity at the weigh-in. At home, the contestants compete in a rowing challenge, with each of them racing to row 10,000 meters the quickest.

  

Episode 10 - Episode 10

'The excuse of the week is "I'm Stuck In My Comfort Zone." Alison tells the contestants that they will switch trainers for the week to get them out of their comfort zone. For the challenge, Alison takes the contestants to a mud pit. Each team has 40 weights to get out of the mud. Whichever team digs up the wieghts first wins a 2-pound advantage on the scale.

  

Episode 11 - Episode 11

The excuse of the week is "I'm Stuck In My Comfort Zone." Alison tells the contestants that they will switch trainers for the week to get them out of their comfort zone. For the challenge, Alison takes the contestants to a mud pit. Each team has 40 weights to get out of the mud.

  

Episode 12 - Episode 12

This week's excuse is "I Don't Believe In Myself." From this week on, each person competes as an individual. The challenge is a tug of war. Jeremy wins first place and receives a shopping spree with a celebrity.

  

Episode 13 - Episode 13

'This week's excuse is "Exercise is Boring." Bob has a sit-down talk with Megan. She tells Bob she doesn't know how to motivate herself. Bob asks her to keep a video diary so she can track her accomplishments. Meanwhile, Dolvett takes his team, Kim, Buddy, Jeremy, and Mark to a Zumba workout. Bob takes his team on a bike ride.

  

Episode 14 - Episode 14

'This week is part one of Makeover Week. The remaining contestants are competing for a 1-pound advantage. In order to get the advantage and avoid getting a 1-pound disadvantage, the contestants have to slingshot baseballs into glass windows

  

Episode 15 - Episode 15

In the second part of makeover week, the contestants travel to the White House, where Mrs Obama discusses childhood obesity and the Presidential Active Lifestyle fitness challenge. Bob encourages the contestants to get people to sign up for PALA. Then, Bob and Dolvett take the contestants, their families, and the First Lady through a workout

  

Episode 16 - Episode 16

'The week begins with a shocking turn of events. The remaining five contestants threaten to leave the ranch after finding out that one of the eliminated contestants will come back to the ranch to compete to become a finalist.

  

Episode 17 - Episode 17

'The fourteen eliminated contestants return to compete in a four part challenge for a spot in The Biggest Loser finale. Round 1 of the finalist challenge is a weigh-in. Ben, Gail, Nancy, Adrian, Roy, Daphne and Chism are eliminated. Round 2 of the finalist challenge is a 100-yard dash.

  

Episode 18 - Episode 18

The eliminated contestants return to find out who will win the $100,000 at-home prize. Mike, who was eliminated in week 2, wins the at-home prize by losing 44.69% of his starting weight. Conda, Jeremy, and Kim meet one final time on the scale to see who will be the season's Biggest Loser and win $250,000.
