Episode 1 - Baby's Back In TownDog tries to nab a fugitive named Wayne by tricking him. Dog calls Wayne to tell him that he's won a new vacuum cleaner and he should stick around to get it. Dog then sends his daughter, Lyssa, to "deliver" the vacuum cleaner and lure Wayne out of his house. But when Lyssa arrives, Wayne is gone, and with the sun setting, the chances of nabbing the fugitive suddenly don't look very good.

Episode 2 - Surprise! Surprise!Leland is not in the best of moods. Although it's his birthday, the crews' heavy work schedule means there's no day off for him and he's suspicious of a "birthday surprise" practical joke. But after Dog and Beth present him with a tiny piece of banana cake with candles at the office Leland's fear of a practical joke fades. It is time to get to work, but the case they are working is not a happy one. They are revoking the bail of a Eugene, a chronic heroin addict. When they put him in jail last month he was ordered released on a technicality. Today they are going to revoke his bail, and make certain everything follows the letter of the law. They find him sharing a squalid apartment with a huge stockpile of syringes. Outside they see that his physical condition has deteriorated since his last arrest. Dog is afraid there may be a problem before they can get him into police custody, so they calls an ambulance to get him checked out. In a revealing exchange, Beth tells Eugene about her first husband's heroin addiction ruined his life, and she pleads with Eugene to let her help him get into rehab. After Eugene is booked into jail, Leland expresses relief that they didn't trick him like they did to Tim last year. But Leland couldn't be more wrong, Dog does have a surprise in store for him. The following morning Dog lures Leland to the Marina at 6:30 with the excuse that he has a hot lead on another fugitive. The whole team rushes onto a boat. Leland leads the charge and is greeted with a birthday cake. Instead of hunting fugitives they are heading out for a celebratory day of Marlin fishing.

Episode 3 - No Ice In ParadiseFor Duane Dog Chapman the War On Ice (crystal methamphetamine) has many fronts. Today he adds a new line of attack to his arsenal - in addition to hunting fugitives he will now try public awareness. Dog, the rest of the crew and family begin the day on an special Anti- Drug Float in a Hawaiian style parade.His next target in this war is more frightening. The bail jumping Pana is a convicted drug dealer, and has a reputation on the street as being a member of the deadly California gang, The Bloods. In their hunt through Chinatown and the projects, the crews fears are realized when Pana's mother gives them a picture of her son standing with other Bloods, wearing the gang's colors and making gang hand signs. Later they meet a woman who has a score to settle with the fugitive, and she offers to help Dog to lay a trap and spring it at midnight in Chinatown. After a speedy arrest, Pana's family responsibilities and denial of gang connections convince Dog that there is hope for his reform. With one dealer off the street the team ends their day at 3:00 AM. But the next morning Dog has to get to City Hall to receive a tribute from the City Council for his efforts in the war on ice. Needless to say, Dog is deeply moved.

Episode 5 - Bosco the ClownThe Chapman family starts its day with Beth buying groceries while Dog and Leland workout at he gym. They say it's important to stay fit because many of their fugitives are high on drugs and sometimes it requires "super human strength" to bring them down. Later at the office, the team discovers that their first case of the day is Donald, AKA "Bosco" whom they've arrested before. Dog warns the crew to beware of Bosco because he's addicted to Ice (methamphetamine), very intelligent and a "professional convict." Dog and his gang spend the day canvassing Bosco's haunts, including the cheap hotels where he's known to stay. Unfortunately, the day ends with few leads. The next day brings great news: the canvassing paid off. A young man named Ryan recognized Bosco from one of Dog's wanted posters. Ryan agrees to help trick Bosco into an ambush. The bust goes as planned but to their surprise the team discovers Bosco is off Ice and settling in to a normal life with a new girlfriend. Not only that but he's a really nice, funny guy. But despite their fondness for Bosco, this is business and Dog hands him over to the Hawaii police.

Episode 6 - Brother's KeeperWe're off to the Kona in the Big Island. Leland, who runs the Kona branch of Da Kine Bail Bonds, has a full plate of fugitives and the whole family is flying over to help. First up is Clifford who has a nasty habit of hitting his wife Virginia. As the co-signer on his bond, she has decided to revoke Clifford's bail. But when Dog and the team are about to pounce they find out that HPD has just picked Clifford up for other reasons! A dejected Dog and company return to the office and decide to go after another fugitive: Luke. Over the phone they convince Luke to turn himself in. But just then another call comes in from Virginia: Clifford has suddenly been released by HPD. Dog and the crew load up, rush over and capture Clifford in his apartment. On the ride to jail they arrange to pick up Luke while Dog works with Clifford to make him understand that hitting Virginia will not make her love him. He also reassures Clifford. Referring to himself and his team he says: "You've got four brothers right here. You're not alone." At HPD Dog explains that we are all our brother's keepers and that is why they must help Clifford.

Episode 7 - Mama's BoysAs the show opens, Dog and the boys plan for an extremely dangerous hunt. The target, Frankie, has a violent history and a rap sheet with over 59 cases! He's been spotted in the Big Island's notorious Homestead region, a sparsely populated swath of jungle. As they head out, Dog makes a surprise announcement: for inspiration the team will visit the grave of Barbra Chapman, Dog's mother and matriarch of the Chapman clan. After tears and prayers over the gravesite, Dog promises that they will "get this one for Moma," and the crew heads out for a night of jungle hunting. The spirit of Ma Chapman seems to be helping them in their pursuit of Frankie when they gain an unusual ally, his mother. With Frankie's mother's help they hunt her son through rundown houses and unfriendly streets until they finally snag him in a violent take down. At the jail, Frankie's mother tells him that she loves him, but Frankie is unmoved. As Dog escorts the felon into the jail, Frankie's mother voices the hope that someday her son will understand that she was only trying to do what was best for him.

Episode 8 - Lost In ParadiseGarry Boy's morning is spent, with Beth's help, honing his bounty hunting skills. Beth explains that the Chapman household is a bit like a camp for future bounty hunters, and, since Garry is only four-years-old, the emphasis is on future. This is especially true for today's bounty Joseph. Weighting over 200lbs and standing over six feet tall, this bust could turn ugly fast. Before they set out they all say a prayer, including Garry. When the team climbs into their cars they find the pint-sized bounty hunter hiding inside. Garry's participation in this bounty is resolved when his Uncle Duane Lee takes him kicking and screaming back into the house. The crew has a stop to make before they get down to business; they've volunteered to visit a local high school to give a lecture about the dangers of drugs. Their message is simple, using drugs leads to jail, and jail is a place you never want to be. Later, using deception and guile they get the address of Joseph's house, and after a phone call confirms that he's there, they head out. Unfortunately, what they soon learn is that, where they are in Hawaii, roads are rarely marked and few houses are numbered. The hunting is equal parts funny and frustrating. As tempers flare, the sun goes down and every trick in Dog's bounty hunting book seems to come up short. Finally with the aid of a UPS driver and a local admirer, Dog and his team capture their prey.

Episode 9 - Coaching DaySince Dog knows he can't hunt bounty for the rest of his life he wants to try his hand at coaching. Under the guise of having a sore throat, Dog and Beth take the day off and have the team, lead by Tim and Leland, track the fugitive, Emmanuel. It's a complicated case. The word on the street is that Emmanuel has terminal cancer, and with a no-bond/no-bail warrant over his head he's got nothing to lose by running. Although Dog's optimistic that the team can pull it off with a little advise from him, Beth believes that without her or the Dog on the ground it'll be the blind leading the blind. The boys start the day bragging that they will show Dog and Beth how to hunt bounty and at first it appears they may be right. But after their planned arrest-by-appointment sting hits a snag, Emmanuel proves more elusive then they expected. As the case gets more and more dicey they increasingly turn to Dog for guidance. Finally, there's a break when Leland gets a call from Emmanuel. With Dog also on the line they discover that the solution will have to involve one of the team hiding in the parent's house, Emmanuel's sisters and brothers and a long conversation between Dog and the fugitive's lawyer. With the case resolved and the boys heading home, Beth goes to bed. Dog waits up. All in all coaching is fine for Dog but what he really loves is the hunt.

Episode 10 - Women of WaikikiThe sun and the surf of Waikiki is a magnet for beautiful women, both tourists and locals. Today Dog is hunting a female fugitive, Lucy, who is known to frequent this idyllic locale. But Lucy lives on the darker side: she's a homeless alcoholic and has failed to appear in court on a bond that Tim will have to pay if they don't catch her. But before the team can hunt Lucy, Dog has to renew his driver's license. As Dog says, a modern day bounty hunter without a driver's license is the same as a bounty hunter in the old west with out a horse. Unfortunately, Dog has left it to the last day before his license expires, and has just two hours to get a new social security card, take the eye test and the written test, fill out the necessary paperwork and get his photo taken before the DMV closes. Later, while looking for Lucy in Waikiki, the boys get distracted by all the bikini-clad lovelies, much to Beth's amusement. But with a hot tip the team re-focuses and they track Lucy down. Dog discovers he shares a native American heritage with Lucy and tries to encourage her to give up drinking.

Episode 11 - To Capture One's OwnIli worked for Dog. She knows the streets of Honolulu and she's been a tremendous help on many busts. But now Ili is in trouble. A year ago she got into a big fight with her husband and allegedly burnt their house to the ground. Today Dog discovers that there's a warrant out for her arrest because she failed to appear in court to answer these charges. What's more, a bondsman (not Dog) who holds her bond has been bragging about how he's going to "take care of the situation," which Dog fears could end up in violence. For both Dog and Beth the situation is very personal and very emotional - she is a good friend of their family and she's in a deep personal crisis. But he and Beth disagree on how the hunt should proceed. He wants to go after her "full blast," where as Beth wants to be much more gentle. So the question is, can they overcome their own tumultuous emotions to bring Ili in safely?

Episode 12 - Big Bags and BoxersThis episode features two grabs on two islands in one day. Shauna has skipped her court date and the Dog needs to get her quickly because her bond is just days from expiring. But as Dog gathers his crew, Leland surprises them with the news that Patrick, a wanted fugitive, is fighting tonight in an Extreme Boxing Event on the Big Island. And Leland has been coaching the guy he is slated to fight! Patrick has a reputation, so it's the perfect opportunity to catch their man because the fights are staged inside steel cages. After the fight is over there will be nowhere for him to run. Reluctantly, Dog decides to split up the team, with Duane Lee and Leland heading to Kona to capture Patrick, while the rest of the team tracks Shauna.

Episode 13 - Cats and DogsToday's target is a woman nick-named Cats, who has skipped a court date where she is facing drug charges. She has no known address and Dog must get her in a few days or forfeit Beth's $10,000 bond. For any other fugitive this situation would warrant an aggressive takedown, but then they discover that Cats is eight months pregnant and for the sake of the baby, Dog decides to lure her in rather then risk a violent grab. But the path to Cats is complicated. Dog and the team hit the streets and start befriending her family and friends trying to catch her. Eventually Dog puts out a promise to re-bail her out immediately, because more then anything Cats doesn't want her baby to start life on the inside of a prison, and neither does Dog. The next day a long cat and mouse game unfolds as Dog works to talk her in. And as the sun goes down, the pressure ratchets up on the team to get Cats to trust them and come in.

Episode 14 - Destiny LoveThis case begins with the arrival at the Da Kine Bail Bonds office of Chantal and her four-month old baby. Chantal named her baby Destiny Love so the child will always remember that she is loved. The situation the with baby's father, Jonaven, is a little different. Jonaven is out on bail awaiting sentencing, but Chantal wants to revoke his bail. It seems that once she helped him out of jail he resumed his drug habit and left his young family for another woman. Dog, moved by her baby and her plight, wants to give Jonaven one last chance if he promises to straighten up. But then Dog gets other information that he's running with a dangerous crowd. And when Dog reaches Jonaven on the phone, he doesn't like what he hears - it seems that Jonaven doesn't know his own child's middle name. So Dog realizes that he must bring Jonaven in. After catching the fugitive in a sting, they learn in a teary heart-to-heart that Jonaven not only faces a ten year sentence, but that his father killed in a shoot out with the police when Jonaven was only 9 years old. Dog then realizes that he knew the boy's father, and pleads with Jonaven to chose a different path. When they arrive at the jail Chantal and baby Destiny Love are waiting to say one last goodbye, and Jonaven embraces his daughter.

Episode 15 - If You Knew Nunu...Nunu is a tough guy. He spent 5 years of a 5 year sentence in jail for assault with a weapon and he's not going to go easily. His stepfather guaranteed his bail, but Nunu has been acting up lately and the stepfather wants off. That means this is a revocation, something Dog and Beth don't love doing. But if his family says Nunu is out of control, there's nothing to be done but pick him up. After a long drive to his neighborhood, Dog gets a good lead a local recreation center. When they arrive Tim spots a guy that fits Nunu's description. Tim shouts but the suspect bolts so quickly he leaves his "slippers" (the Hawaiian term for flip flop sandals) behind. The chase is on and what Beth calls a huge grown up game of hide and seek plays out throughout a number of apartment complexes and strip mall shopping areas. The whole neighborhood is helping Dog on this hunt. But just as the sun is setting, Leland's boxing coach, Sonny Westbrook, who is helping on this case, finds someone who could be the fugitive. Dog confirms it's Nunu and they take the young man into custody. As expected, Nunu is a spitfire and argues with Dog and Tim all the way to the jail. But by the time they have arrive they have made friends and Dog is charmed by Nunu's unquenchable spirit.

Episode 16 - Double TroubleDog's feeling lucky today so he's going try to capture two women in one day! Both are kind of wild in different ways, Moani has "crazy" tattooed on the back of her neck and is facing drug promotion charges. The other, Jade, is facing theft charges. But Dog thinks they should both be in the same neighborhood, so he's going to go for it. The team catches its first lead from Moani's sister-in-law and ex-husband, and after a thrilling foot chase they catch her at a beach pavillion. As they drive away Moani sadly tells Dog there is "no hope" for her to quit her drug addiction, and Dog seem unable to convince her that there is. But the road to jail passes by the location of the best lead they have for Jade (her sister's house), so they keep Moani with them as they begin the hunt for Jade. Although the sister can't help them, an informant calls with a tip that Jade is in a nearby apartment. Moani guides the team there, but no one is home. But Moani must get to jail, so Dog sends Tim and Duane Lee take her there. The rest of the team blankets the area with wanted posters and questions to make it "too hot" for Jade wherever she might go, including a second visit to the sister's house. This time the sister has had enough and promises to get Jade to turn herself in. Although Dog didn't get both of his targets by the end of day he feels confident that Jade too will be in custody tomorrow. When the team gathers in the office the next day Dog informs them that Jade had called him in the middle of the night and volunteered to surrender the next day at a local restaurant. She is true to her word, but as they head to jail she is remorseless about her life of crime and drug abuse. Dog laments that both of the women on this hunt are see no end to their life of crime, but takes comfort in knowing that the team has made the streets a little safer.

Episode 17 - Big Island, Small TownDog and the team are on the Big Island of Hawaii again. One problem with hunting for fugitives on the Big Island is that there are lots of small towns and in small towns everyone knows everyone else's business. So in small towns it's impossible for Dog and the team to hunt in secret. This case is no exception. Marino, from a small town in the western part of the island, hasn't been checking in with Leland and hasn't shown up for a court date. The co-signer is getting nervous and she wants to revoke the bond. The team heads out to search for their man. As Dog feared they would, the locals in Marino's town watch their every move, from a supermarket where Marino was reported to be shopping to the street on which he lives. The up side to small towns is that news travels fast so when Marino hears that Dog is looking for him, to avoid trouble, he turns himself in. Dog is impressed that Marino handled the situation so maturely and the two have a good heartfelt talk on the way to jail.

Episode 18 - Jonah Is MissingWhen Dog talks about bounty hunting he always says, if it wasn't hard, it wouldn't be fun," and while this case has the hard part down solid, today's search isn't offering the team a lot of laughs. Their target, Jonah Ramos, is a violent and desperate man. Found guilty of first-degree assault, he violated his parole by refusing to attend anger management classes, and then pulled a no-show on the day of his sentencing. No one has heard from him since. Dog thinks he knows why Ramos took a powder. His new conviction could land him in the slammer for twenty years. This is the kind of offender Dog loves to bring down. After working every number on the Jonah's bail application leaves the team with nothing but disconnected phones and unanswered questions Dog decides to step it up. Armed with address for both the homes and the workplaces of Jonah's two co-signers the team hits the streets looking for leads. This tactic leads only to evasive family members, an angry girlfriend, and frustration for the crew. But Dog knows that showing up at a co-signer's job always provokes a reaction, so that's the next move. It pays off; within 30 minutes Dog's cell phone is ringing with his first solid lead. It turns out that Jonah has a second girlfriend who is pregnant with his fifth child. By the end of the night the boys have a hot address and a solid plan for taking Ramos down which leads to a fast capture.

Episode 19 - Suga On My CuffsIn Denver Colorado Kandice, AKA Candy, AKA Suga, has been a bad girl. She recently left her job as a stripper and she failed to appear in court when she was supposed to. The courts have demanded that bondsman Bobby Brown arrest her, and he has asked Dog to do the deed. However, just as they sets up this case, some other bail bonding friends of Dog and Beth's, Gary and Julie, show up at the office. They've heard Dog is in town, and they need to quickly capture a potentially violent fugitive named Nestor. They know exactly where Nestor is and they are hoping Dog adn the team will take a moment to grab the guy. Dog decides to help and as fast as you can say "fugitive from the law" Nestor is in custody and on his way to jail. The next day, still looking for Suga, Dog convinces one of her friends to set her up. The plan is for the informant to meet Suga in a supermarket parking lot and for Dog to swoop in and bust her. The plan goes off without a hitch and just in the nick of time, as it turns out Suga was planning on running for Florida the very next day. And on the ride back to their office, Dog and Beth take a shine to this spit of a girl from Texas and it's with great reluctance that they hand her over to Bobby when he comes to collect her and take her to jail.

Episode 20 - Mothers and DaughtersFor Beth, today's case sparks a poignant memory that will remind her of the redemptive power a second chance can have, and how it changed her life. The morning begins in the usual way, Beth is busy readying her brood for another day. Between serving the younger kids their breakfast and assigning Cecily her morning chores Beth talks about the motherhood. Her concern of late is with Cecily, who is moving into her teen years. Beth wants to help her daughter avoid the mistakes that she made as a young woman. Ehen Beth arrives at the office she finds Dog on the phone. He's talking with the mother of twenty-five year old Rachel, and grandmother to Rachel's nine year old daughter. The mom tells Dog that she bailed Rachel out of jail on the condition that Rachel conform to a strict regimen that includes AA meetings and a curfew, but that Rachel is not keeping with the program. And now the mom has made the painful decision to revoke her bond and send her daughter back to jail. Ironically Rachel is lured out of the house by Duane Lee posing as a delivery man with a bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day. As they drive to jail Beth tries to reach out to the young woman by telling Rachel her own story of youthful run-ins with the law. And Dog sees a mirror image of Beth in her early days in Rachel. After escorting Rachel to jail, Beth goes to pick-up Cecily from her horseback riding lesson. As she drives Beth reflects on how blessed she is to have Cecily and the other kids. For Beth, Cecily, Bonnie, and Gary are more then just her children, they are her second chance to be a good mother and to heal a painful wound. She then tells the difficult story of how as a young woman she made the heartbreaking decision to put her first child up for adoption. It was that terrible loss that caused Beth to turn her life around. Beth's hope is that Rachel will use her loses of freedom today as the motivation to change her life.

Episode 21 - Dog Is SmokinDog is trying desperately to stop smoking... or at least cut down. But unfortunately stress is the number one reason Dog lights up and bounty hunting isn't exactly stress free. Today, Dog is going after Walter who has robbery charges, is an ex-weight lifter and an alleged Ice addict. So Dog is concerned that Walter may be thinking he is a good fighter. Dog gets a hot tip and quickly finds Walter at a nearby park. But it turns out that Walter has other things on his mind. He believes that the Canadian military has planted a chip in his tooth that allows him to communicate with his van, which is just an old jalopy. And on the ride to the jail Walter has some unusual advice for Dog about how to quit smoking. And it isn't easy for Dog, at the jail Beth catches on to Dog's tricks for hiding the number of cigarettes he's smoking - and has to remind him again to cut down. The next day, Beth is too sick to go hunting so Tim will be the cigarette monitor. Dog and his team head to a local beach park to track down Tammy who is allegedly selling drugs while on bond, a definite no-no. After some searching, Dog decides they should head home and try again tomorrow. Just as they're about to leave Tammy drives past them and they bust her. Dog and Tammy talk a lot about her addiction to Ice. Dog's final words to Tammy are that for her own sake, and the sake of those around her, she's got to get off the drugs. And Tim points out that while Dog makes his anti-drug speech he's seems to be talking to himself about his own need to quit cigarettes as well.
