Season 4 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - Duckworth's Revolt

The Nephews think Duckworth lets Scrooge treat him like a slave. Overhearing them, Scrooge impulsively fires Duckworth, to give him a chance to go out in the world and "make big bucks." At the bus stop, a despondent Duckworth and the boys are zapped aboard a cornucopia-type space craft commanded by Vegetable Creatures! The creatures make Duckworth and the boys slaves, along with other space creatures they've collected. Duckworth shows everyone there's a big difference between working for someone because you want to and being forced to serve, when he spearheads a victorious revolt against slavery. The Nephews and all the space creatures gain new respect for Duckworth.

Episode 2 - Magica's Magic Mirror / Take Me Out of the Ballgame

A mysterious woman gives Scrooge a mirror that seems to tell the future! The images are really tricks designed by Magica de Spell to force Scrooge into giving her his first dime, a coin purported to have special powers. With the dime, Magica can obtain even more power! The Nephews see through the plot and turn the tables just in time!

Episode 3 - Duck to the Future

Concerned about the Nephews' business sense, Scrooge travels into the future to check out their future business acumen. Little does Scrooge realize he's been set up by Magica De Spell and unless he can return to the past and re-steer its course, the future will be a nightmare!

Episode 4 - Jungle Duck

Words of a jungle wild man lure Scrooge, the nephews and Launchpad to darkest Africa! Mrs. Beakley goes along, too, telling tales of how she used to lead many a safari across the grassy plains and through the thick rain forests. The kids don't really buy her story until they are set upon by the wild duck and learn Mrs. Beakley knows him! Twenty years previous she was the wild duck's nanny. He's a Prince of a nearby kingdom who's plane was sabotaged when he was only five years old. He was the one Mrs. Beakley had searched for and now she and the other ducks join in usurping the usurpers of the Prince's throne.

Episode 5 - Launchpad's First Crash

Trapped on top a sheer-sided desert mesa by their 100th crash together, Scrooge and Launchpad reminisce about their first crash together. In flashback, we see a nineteen-year-old Launchpad trying to drum up business at the lowest possible prices. Scrooge can't resist and employs the eager, but bumbling, pilot to take him in search of a lost city of diamonds. A miscalculated fly-by over an extinct volcano's crater gets Scrooge and Launchpad sucked into a bizarre middle-earth world filled with gigantic octopi, crabs and ruled by Amazonian women! Needless to say, this was the first of many goofy adventures Scrooge and Launchpad have had together.

Episode 6 - Dime Enough for Luck

Gladstone Gander proves to Scrooge time and again that he is the world's luckiest duck. So it's no surprise when Magica de Spell tricks him into using his luck to get him past the traps in McDuck's Money Bin. But the instant he steals the Number One Dime, bad luck befalls him and Scrooge. Together they fly to Magica's island to retrieve the Dime and restore their good fortune.

Episode 7 - Duck in the Iron Mask

Dewey is fed up with being mistaken for Huey and Louie! So he changes his image to look as different from them as possible. And dressed in a wild Hawaiian shirt, hat and sunglasses, he certainly does look different! But when Scrooge, the Nephews and Launchpad get in trouble in the fairybook land of Montedumas, teamwork becomes crucial. Scrooge's old friend, the Count of Montedumas has been imprisoned in an iron mask by his lookalike brother. When the Nephews become separated, Huey and Louie realize they are not as formidable without Dewey's clever ideas, and Dewey discovers there really is something special about being part of a team.

Episode 8 - The Uncrashable Hindentanic

Perhaps Scrooge has bitten off more than he can chew, when he bets Flintheart Glomgold that he can make a profit on anything - even the uncrashable Hindentanic. This inflated lemon brings new meaning to the word "disaster."

Episode 9 - The Status Seekers

Scrooge is not accepted by the Association of Status Seekers because he hangs out with commoners like his Nephews and Launchpad, and because he doesn't own a accepted "status symbol. " Determined to join the snobby organization, Scrooge avoids his old friends and sets off to find a rare tribal mask which will make him President, no less. In the end, Scrooge misses his "lowlife friends" and decides being a snob is a real snore.

Episode 10 - Nothing to Fear

In a ruse to get Scrooge's number one dime, Magica de Spell magically brings our heroes' greatest fears to life! Soon, the Nephews are hunted by video villain Commander Gander and in trouble with a giant version of their teacher, Mrs. Quackenbush! Scrooge is hounded by a mob of Bill Collectors and all his money disappears! A panther-like limo chases Duckworth and Doofus is threatened by the School Bully and a Giant Banana!

Episode 11 - Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Mcduck

Scrooge buys a trunk at an auction, but the results are no bargain! A strange cologne in the old trunk causes the normally tight-wad Scrooge to turn into a fun loving spend-thrift! The Nephews must take Scrooge to London in hopes they can find an antidote to the cologne. Instead, they find the nefarious Jack the Tripper and must employ the haughty British detective, Mr. Shedlock Jones!

Episode 12 - Once Upon a Dime

The Nephews want to know how Scrooge's Number One Dime made him a wealthy man. So, through a series of flashback vignettes, Scrooge tells the boys of his early days and how he made his fortune (of course, he wasn't truly rich until the Nephews came into his life).

Episode 13 - Spies in Their Eyes

When the remote guidance system of Scrooge's secret submarine is stolen, the Navy accuses Seaman Donald Duck of espionage and high treason. Donald is in the process of being court-martialed, as Scrooge and the Nephews hastily follow a path of foreign intrigue in exotic Singapore. Their efforts lead them into and Out of classic spy situations, the least of which involve a Eurasian duckette with hypnotic eyes and a vicious international terrorist. In the end, though it took incredible effort, Scrooge is thankful he followed his gut feeling about Donald, rather than the irrefutable evidence that Donald did indeed commit treason.

Episode 14 - All Ducks On Deck

Donald Duck wants his Nephews to be proud of him, so he entertains them with phony stories of his valor at sea. Eager to see their Uncle in action, the boys stow away on his aircraft carrier - and discover Donald's heroics consist of peeling potatoes and swabbing the deck! Determined to convince Admiral Grimitz that Donald is a hero, the boys create chaotic opportunities for Donald to save the day - all of which backfire. Meanwhile, diabolical villain, The Phantom Blot, steals the navy's new invisible stealth bomber! Scrooge and Launchpad manage to wrest it away, but when the lights short out on the aircraft carrier, they can't see to land!

Episode 15 - Ducky Horror Picture Show

Scrooge is determined to make money off a rundown old dance hall by turning it into the Duckburg Convention Center! Unfortunately, his first group of conventioneers happen to be real monsters from Monsters Unanimous! Drakeula, Quackenstein, Bride of Quackenstein, The Blob, Quackymodo and even Ping Pong the giant ape all show up to party! To make matters worse, Scrooge rented his mansion out to them as a hotel! And to make matters much worse, the monsters are protesting the monster movie marathon at Scrooge's theatre!

Episode 16 - Till Nephews Do Us Part

Scrooge is smitten with wealthy Millinara Vanderbucks, mostly because they have so much in common (stocks, bonds, T-bills, limousines, etc.)! When they decide to marry, the kids overhear her plans to send the Nephews to a military academy and Webby off to finishing school! The kids try to scare the nasty Millionara away, by convincing Scrooge to take her on a rugged journey with "Tazmanian Thistlemashers" and other terrors they've created. But Scrooge proceeds with the wedding and every guest ever seen on DUCKTALES is there, including the Beagle Boys in bride's maid gowns!
