Season 8 Episode Guide

Episode 1 - Return of the Champions

In the first part of this heart-stopping season premiere, contestants are shocked to find out they’ll be coached by three former Face Off Champions. Legendary seven-time Oscar Winning makeup effects artist and Special Guest Judge Rick Baker is also on hand to introduce the artists to their first Spotlight Challenge.

  

Episode 2 - Monkey Business

In the exciting conclusion to the season premiere, the champion-led teams of five discover that in addition to the original two aliens, they will be creating a third character, a primate leader. Seven Time Oscar Winner, Rick Baker returns as Guest Judge.

  

Episode 3 - Let the Games Begin

The stakes are at an all-time high as "Hunger Games" film star Josh Hutcherson joins this week’s panel to judge the remaining 14 artists in a deadly predator challenge.

  

Episode 4 - Royal Flush

The thirteen remaining artists must make playing cards come to life in the whimsical style of Tim Burton for their first individual Spotlight Challenge of the competition.

  

Episode 5 - Sounding Off

The artists learn that their next Spotlight Challenge will have them designing creatures based solely on unique sound effects created by two-time Academy Award nominated Sound Designer, Erik Aadahl.

  

Episode 6 - Troll Bridge

The stress of another individual Spotlight Challenge weighs on the remaining eleven artists and their coaches as they create trolls inspired by iconic bridges.

  

Episode 7 - Queen Bees

For this week’s Spotlight Challenge, the artists find themselves in the middle of the woods where they’re shocked to find out they’ll be body-painting nude models.

  

Episode 8 - Dressed to Kill

The nine remaining artists tackle a challenge that takes them into the worlds of both fashion and horror as they create makeups worthy of horror icon, Clive Barker.

  

Episode 9 - Miss Intergalactic

A colorful and unconventional Foundation Challenge is followed by the artists being tasked with creating alien beauty queens for the inaugural Miss Intergalactic Pageant, which is judged with help by special guest Gabriela Isler.

  

Episode 10 - Super Selfies

The seven remaining artists find themselves staring down the most daunting challenge in Face Off history, as they must create and apply superhero makeups to themselves!

  

Episode 11 - Imaginary Friends

The six remaining artists are surprised to learn that they will be working with a group of children in a challenge that involves bringing their imaginary friends to life.

  

Episode 12 - Deadly Dolls

As they strive to make the semifinals, the artists must overcome major obstacles in the lab as they give life to creepy dolls. Special Guest Judge, Don Mancini, creator of Chucky.

  

Episode 13 - Full Steam Ahead

In the last showdown before the finale, the four remaining artists lay everything on the line as they create unique Western Steampunk Cyborgs to earn their shot at the grand prize.

  

Episode 14 - The Dream Team

The three finalists tackle the biggest finale challenge in Face Off history, as each must create a team of four unique characters that could star in an original film franchise.
