Episode 1 - The Perfect Bear

As the community of Port Protection springs forward, Squibb and Troy join forces to repair a sinking float that could cause a massive oil spill. Curly braves dangerous waters determined to get a spring black bear. Sam steps up as a deckhand on a commercial fishing trip to make some cash. And Morgan takes her first shot at getting a hooter.

  

Episode 2 - Everything Eats Each Other

In coastal Southeast Alaska, four groups of fearless homesteaders fight to turn the tide. Breanna and Oliver risk injury to grow their home. Curly targets a black bear to supplement his food supply. David Squibb teaches an enthusiastic newcomer to fish so she might eat for a lifetime. And a massive sunken tree threatens life and livelihood.

  

Episode 3 - Sink House

Sam’s youngest son returns after a decade away, determined to catch some fish and reconnect with his family. Curly and Mary strike out in pursuit of crab. Troy braves the murky water underneath Oliver and Breanna’s float to help lift their house. Carl and Morgan show newcomer Veronica how to survive in the harsh Alaska bush.

  

Episode 4 - Loading for Bear

In the town of Port Protection, the old gives way to the new as Sam helps Breanna and Oliver hone their skills for the coming bear hunt. Carl follows in his father’s footsteps to ensure a future for himself and Morgan. Curly and Squibb dust off their skills to prepare for the coming Spring haul. And Matt helps Veronica step into her Auntie Litzi’s shoes for the good of the whole community.

  

Episode 5 - Uphill Battle

As residents of Port Protection join forces to move a thousand-pound sawmill to Carl and Morgan’s property, Squibb fells precarious trees to gain more sunlight to expand his solar energy system. Sam, Oli, and Bre embark on a redemption hunt for black bear. And newcomer Veronica enlists Jiggy’s expertise to learn the essential skill of fishing.

  

Episode 6 - Deadwood

Veronica needs help from the town's women to face her fear of cutting down massive trees. Sam and Squibb strike out with a gill net and resort to sport fishing for fresh fish. Oliver tears the roof off his shed to put on a rainwater catchment system. Carl and Morgan take another step on their forever home by building a garden from the ground up.

  

Episode 7 - Alaskan Gothic

With summertime commercial fishing season in full swing, Sam and Matt fix up an old boat to prepare for Matt’s first trip as captain of his own vessel. Carl and Morgan set out to catch a stream of valuable sockeye salmon. Oliver builds a floating mobile hunting cabin. And Curly takes his saw to a gigantic tree that’s hung up behind a dear friend’s house.

  

Episode 8 - A Run at the Kings

It’s summertime in Alaska, which means long days and even longer To-Do lists. Squibb helps Curly fix his rotting decks before he or JR fall through to the rocks below. Sam cuts his propane costs with some Alaskan ingenuity. Matt sets out in his newly refurbished trolling boat, the Gothic, on a quest for King Salmon. And Oliver and Breanna head to Totem Bay for a walk down Memory Lane.

  

Episode 9 - It Gets Shallow Fast

With winter on its way, Sam and Squibb band together to build Curly a hoist but struggle to lift a massive piece of steel into place. Veronica hits an unexpected setback on a trip to harvest winter greens. Carl and Morgan repurpose materials to create a work float. And with only a few months to earn their yearly income, Jiggy and his wife Gail fish hard for salmon.

  

Episode 10 - Treasure & Hunters

Sam sends Troy underwater in search of sunken shipwreck treasure. Mary dodges wolves on the opening day of deer season to take a shot at a big prize. Curly sets sail to land halibut for winter. Oliver goes on a risky solo mission for firewood.

  

Episode 11 - Apex Predator

With fall in full effect, residents race to complete projects before winter. Curly constructs a hunting blind on opening day of duck season. Oliver and Breanna try to load up on fresh crab and shellfish. Troy dives into freezing water to recover lost gear. And Sam and Squibb work together to build a desperately needed firefighting tool.

  

Episode 12 - Wolfpack

With winter quickly approaching, the residents of Port Protection begin the long task of stocking their pantries. Curly takes Junior out for the first duck hunt of the season and encounters a pack of apex predators. Matt helps his father restock his junk pile with treasures. Breanna shows Veronica the bounty of the land. And Carl kills two “birds” with one chainsaw.

  

Episode 13 - The Huntress and the Greenhorn

Breanna embarks on a solo mission for deer but encounters some unsettling signs. Mary sets out with Squibb to learn how to gillnet but discovers it’s much more difficult and dangerous than casting a rod and reel. As Oliver and Troy build a smoker for the community, Sam and Matt attempt to move a hefty generator and their physical limits are put to the test.

  

Episode 14 - Grandpa's Pot

Breanna and Oliver test their knowledge and their relationship as they drop pots for shrimp. Sam and Curly help each other out and try to fill their smokers with salmon along the way. Matt works with deadly chemicals and Squibb works from deadly heights to make upgrades before winter winds and swells kick up.

  

Episode 15 - Last Flat Day

Port Protection residents get ready for the future. Oliver stalks a deer along the coast. Mary and Curly fish for some of the last halibut of the year. Sam, Matt, and Carl get ready for an epic adventure that could bring great reward. Meanwhile, Breanna and Veronica do maintenance work on a trail that connects to their pasts.

  

Episode 16 - This Must Be the Place

People step up to ensure the success of their neighbors. Carl and Morgan team up with Matt on his first crabbing adventure, Curly shows Sam the ropes on a late season duck hunt, Jiggy and Breanna help Veronica attempt to fulfill her late Uncle John’s final wish, and Oliver helps Troy get his home ready for the arrival of Port Protection’s newest resident – Troy’s girlfriend.
